This place was pretty clean inside and has spacious seating. Our cheesesteaks were made to order and the veggies were fresh. I thought the beef was a bit too salty. I love cheesesteaks, but because of the heavy seasoning, I haven't been back.

Looked for places to eat in the area, and some cheesesteaks with cheese wiz sounded amazing. Went on a Sunday afternoon when it wasn't too busy and ordered 2 cheesesteaks with cheese wiz and were not disappointed. We were so hungry that these definitely filled us up. The bread was so soft and the cheese to meat ratio was perfect! The fries were the perfect side. The staff were super friendly and quick with taking our order and even brought us our food. The decor inside looked so good, I loved the news themed basket liners under our cheesesteaks. Overall a very pleasant experience and would come back again if in the area.

Gosh, I'm so sad today this place just isn't the same as it used to be. Since moving to the west coast, returning here for a cheesesteak was definitely a high priority. Minimal differences from my last visits but certainly took the mouthwatering magic out of the experience. The cheesesteak used to be perfection, this time the onions were still crunchy, the provolone (no I don't get cheese wiz) was slathered on top of the bun. The crab fries were hardly seasoned which considering a $1.25 up charge for old bay seasoning, like bruh be generous wit da spice! They also changed the ranch dressing which used to be a beautiful blend of buttermilk ranch, now it tastes like a concession stand sized tub of spiced mayonnaise. Considering the cost is not on the low end and the disappointment was real - I likely will not return. If it's your first experience you may truly enjoy it, but if you are an OG customer you'll likely be let down. Small things make the big difference, sad that it appears corners are now being cut at this establishment.

These cheesesteaks were everything we hoped they would be - right down to the VERY fresh & soft Amoroso rolls!

Just stopped in about a hour ago and got a mojo cheese steak sandwich. All I can say is I'm super disappointed! This place use to be great to get one of there sandwich's because of the care and attention to details on every sandwich. Well today I had to pay that premium of almost $20 for one and all I asked was please no onions and what they did is put barley any cheese on the sandwich ,but about a full shredded size onion on my sandwich. I had to throw it away because onions make me sick ,so that was a waste of money and I'm not going back after this experience.

Stopped here for a sandwich and wow! These are huge! They've got the Philly lingo down regarding "wit" (as in "wit onions"); my provie wit (aka provolone and onion cheesesteak) had enty of meat and onions but was somewhat lacking in the cheese department. Staff was very friendly. Would stop by again for a taste of Philly in this area.

Mojo's cheesesteak and cheesesteak hoagie w/ fries were fresh and tasty! The place is really clean, service was friendly and efficient. The bread is authentic and shipped from Philadelphia. While the prices are higher than other places, the quality is better too. You get a genuinely good tasting cheesesteak sandwich and I don't mind paying for it. If you're on a budget, this might not be the place for you but I'm glad I gave it a shot.

there is a very thin layer of tuna in there somewhere.

3.5 stars, but rounded up because I didn't feel they deserved any deduction…read more I was REALLY looking forward to their #20 Old New Yorker, which I got in their Navel Cut pastrami. It was a solid 7, which is why I place it at 3.5 stars. I may be being picky here but it just wasn't to the level of "melt-in-your-mouth" pastrami standards for me. Not to say it wasn't good, because it was perfectly fine. In fact, it's better than most of the pastrami sandwiches I tried in Chicagoland. Maybe it's the fact that I had to bring it back to the office to eat it, and half hour had gone by and pastrami weren't as warm and the Jewish rye had become soggy by the time I took the first bite. I mean, it goes without saying that the sandwich would have been 3 times better had I sat down immediately and had it. Again, all things considered, it was a perfectly good sandwich. One interesting thing was that I had never been to an establishment that included a half sour pickle instead of a normal one and gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised. Pickles can be a hit or a miss for me. I like my pickles to be crunch, but some places offer overripened ones that become borderline mushy. Schmaltz's half sour pickle was not overly salty or sour, making it very attractive for me. The more I'm thinking about it, I'm convinced that I'll have to go back and try their #14 Sloppy Paul, which is the corned beef with sauerkraut, which is another favorite of mine. And this time, I'll be sure to dine in and give another review of it to see how much I like them better.

Lots of fun deli sandwiches to choose from. I chose a French Dip; hubby had a pick two-- a cup of matzo ball soup, and 1/2 corned beef sandwich. Both served with a whole new pickle. Mine was absolutely delicious. Tons of beef, melty swiss, and grilled onion. Served nice and hot with a tasty au jus. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed his as well. Great Jewish deli. Highly recommend whether you're Jewish or not! ;)

We talked to the person there and found it was run by his family, and they do an exceptional job. My wife had the Liberty Cheesesteak with added onions while I had a combo Italian Beef/Italian Sausage sandwich - dipped with added onion, hot pepper and cheese. We also had a side of fries. Both sandwiches were big, which you would expect. The Philly had finely chopped steak with the peppers, onions and cheese all mixed in. My wife said it was fantastic. My combo was incredible. The beef was seasoned perfectly and was clearly not sitting all day in the au-jus (which when talking to the owner afterwards he confirmed was the case). You can always tell this because the meat had a nice texture and was not overly salty, but instead as I stated seasoned and cooked perfectly. Additionally, the fries were well cooked, crisp and hot. They take care to keep the oil fresh and clean, so the fries taste like fries instead of old dirty oil. As an added bonus he even treated my pup to a small dish of ice cream which she enjoyed on a hot day. Fortunately, we showed up a little after the lunch rush and was able to spend a few minutes talking about the business and baseball and our combined hate of the dreaded Dodgers. Even if I don't go back there tomorrow, it's definitely a must stop next time through the area.
