So the sandwich was just OK. Nothing special or mind blowing. You get what you get when you go to a place like this. However my disappointment stems from doing a mobile order at the same time as numerous people waiting in the line. The people in the line got their sandwiches immediately. I was waiting and waiting by the pick up location even though they acknowledged I was there and waiting for my order. I did not feel prioritized. My lunch party who ordered at the line, actually finished their whole entire lunch before I even got my food. Food is great. The service is good except the cashier (the big older lady), who is so rude and snapping on me when I'm about to check out and pay for my order. I bought 4 sandwiches and was telling her about it so I can pay and she was so sarcastic about her comments which I ignored and told me in a rude way that she can only ring up 2 sandwiches at a time (how am I supposed to know that) then I haven't tap my card yet and she told me to keep the card longer in the machine as it didn't go through , again in a rude way. Goodness, I felt like she's turning her frustration and anger on me since it's busy and customers keep on coming in. We generally enjoy Potbelly, but today was just not the location's finest. Placed an order on their mobile app, and when my husband went to pick it up, they hadn't started the order and were still prioritizing walk ins versus an online Perks order. He ended up waiting 20+ minutes in store, with him having to coach the workers on managing through their situation. The manager, who was not in due to a personal emergency, then called an hour later to 'apologize.' I really wished she would have waited till she was in a better mental state because she kept cutting me off, and when I told her why we were annoyed, she stated that they're not robots and that she guess she shouldn't have tended to her personal matter. A weird response from a general manager dealing with an unhappy customer. Not very likely to visit this location again, but would go to another Potbelly. read more

5 stars! Had an issue with a large order for a work training. Card wouldn't go through. Contacted the location. Employee worked with me and after many attempts to fix the issue this employee went out of her way to rectify the situation. Although the issue was due to third-party billing we were able to get the order in and delivered on time. I really want to say thank you for finding a way around the issue. Overall the shop was pretty clean, the service was great. I tried the new BLTA, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado sandwich. The sandwich was just ok, it would have help if the bacon will be a bit crispy. I also had chips and a side of pickles, which compliment the sandwich a bit better. My brother and I went to this place per his recommendation. I ordered Meatball Sandwich Original. Pizza Sandwich Big. Caramel milkshake The place looks like a setup at Quiznos. You place your sandwich order, provide your bread selection, Employee puts the bun and meat through the oven, You select the toppings at the other end of the oven with another employee, He wraps the sandwich up, Takes your drink order, and Rings you up. Pros: Sandwiches were piping hot, healthy and delicious. (+1) Milkshake was good too. Pizza sandwich was unique, I thought. Potbelly's is pretty good, but you can tell it's a chain. They have a wide range of sandwiches that taste different from other delis out there, for better or for worse. I usually come here if I'm in the area and their food is good, and they have some outdoor seating as well. Their app could be better though. read more

First off the Potbellys i am writting about is the one on Weber rd. just south of Boughton in Bolingbrook they are not listed on Yelp yet. This place is very clean, the workers are so friendly and thdy explain everything to you so you know all your options, service was very fast and tge dining ares is very safe. If you like the cooked sub then this is a great place to go, i personally like The Wreck, and The Italian, the Chili has a nice sweet taste be sure to add some onions, the Voodoo heat chips are the kettle type but not that hot just very tasty, over all i think you will like the new Potbellys on Weber rd. I love Potbelly. Love. I can expound on their awesomeness a million different ways, and I've eaten at various locations over the last decade easily hundreds of times. That said, I know what the "Potbelly experience" is supposed to be, and when I'm not getting it. Usually, I'll cut some slack, recognizing some things are a one off. This visit, however, was truly terrible. They didn't miss the mark by a little, but by a mile. The shift lead seemed very impatient with me while I ordered, and his attitude was such that if I had as a first time customer, I probably wouldn't have come back. I orded 3 sandwiches, and the same employee handled them on both sides of the oven, before putting them in the bag at the register. Almost without exception, every time I've ordered multiple sandwiches, they're marked so people can find theirs. I had to unwrap all of them to find mine. I got a flatbread Italian, and couldn't taste the ranch dressing at all (nor could I see evidence of it in the ridiculous amount of pickle juice that dripped out). This was the most poorly made, disgusting sandwich I've ever had from PB. They took my favorite sandwich, and turned it into something I would have paid money not to eat. Not sure what exactly made this sandwich so different in taste, but bitter disappointment and failure were in every bite. Additionally, I think I ended up wearing more than ended up in my mouth (again, something new). Upon finishing, I looked down and it was as of sandwich toppings rained from the heavens. As I ate my sandwich while it was still tightly wrapped to prevent leakage, I still am not sure what curse they put on my sammich. I came for IKEA, stayed for Potbelly. wow, i was amazed by this place... i'd say it's a much higher end of Subway kinda place... much better! it was so crowded when i went there during lunch hour... so i bought a sandwich combo with their famous banana vanilla milk shake to go, and then enjoyed it back in the office... it was AWESOME... the bread was toasted, really good flavors, and the milk shake was really good - i am not usually a milk shake drinker... i forgot how much i paid those for, and i am so sorry that i don't live in Chicago to get to enjoy it place all the time! would definitely go back again... read more

I got a Tuna Sandwich, I asked for a , lettuce, tomato, onions and a " little hot peppers". I got 2 tomatoes, literally two strings of lettuce and two tiny hot peppers on the outside of the sandwich in the wrapper. I got my order to go and was very disappointed. Sigh. Great sandwiches made how you want them. Nice people and decent parking while next to a phone store and Starbucks. This location provides decent service especially during the lunch and dinner crowds. The one issue they need some improvement on are the Perks Rewards program where you can order your sandwiches ahead of time through the app. They are 1 for 3 in getting my order ready on time. The time the order will be ready is clearly displayed on the app when you place the order. The only time they had my order ready was an order I placed to be ready at 815pm on a weekday. The worst offense was a Saturday order that was supposed to be ready at 515. I actually arrived at 520 but the order was not ready. The employee indicated it would take 10 minutes and I was fine to head next door to pick up a cup of coffee at Starbucks. I came back at 530 and sat down at a table as there were two gentleman ahead of me in the pickup order line. My order was not actually ready until 544 which is almost 30 minutes past the ready time!!!! Like I said, this location is good just need to improve on the order ahead feature of Perks. Great food, but I'm in "people person" mode all day at work, and sometimes I just want to not be a people person during my lunch hour. The service is quick and friendly, but the place is usually crowded and loud. I prefer going on (those oh so rare) nice days because they have very ample outdoor seating and its much quieter outside. They usually have live music inside, which is kind of nice for atmosphere, but its usually too loud, especially with all of the people talking over one another. I feel like this particular Potbelly is more crowded inside than others and doesn't have a lot of indoor seating space. I will say that the sandwiches are excellent.
