#1 50% sugar, Kumquat Lemon Green Tea 30% and a Chocolate Croffle
    Bob L.

I've been to a lot of boba spots over the years, and no matter how many new places pop up or how many I try, I always find myself coming back here. It's just one of those tried-and-true, never-disappoints kind of spots. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is clean, relaxed, and easy to hang out in. Whether you're just grabbing a quick drink or staying a while to catch up with friends this place is definitely the rock in my boba rotation. My go-to order here never misses. If I'm in a milk tea mood, I always get the grass jelly roasted milk tea (it's their bestseller for a reason). And when I want something lighter and refreshing, the kumquat lemon green tea is a must. I usually go for 50-70% sweetness depending on the day since their drinks are already super well-balanced. Honestly, you can't go wrong either way. Service is quick and friendly, even when it gets busy, and the pricing feels fair for the quality you're getting. It's also a great spot for groups, especially when they offer a LARGE size or party sets. This is one of those places that delivers consistently. Good drinks, good atmosphere, and attention to quality. If you've been here before, you already know you can expect that same great experience every time. And if it's your first visit, you'll be welcomed into a spot that really highlights high-quality taiwanese milk tea.

After taking my son to his doctor appointment, we dropped by here to get a few drinks. We ordered pearl milk tea, roasted milk tea and red bean milk tea (all half sugar, light ice & add boba). We arrived roughly 30 min after it had opened for the day and there was only one customer in front of us but our drinks took forever to be ready. In all of the drinks, you can only taste the milk and no tea flavor (not even in the roasted milk tea drink). The boba has no flavor and it was too chewy (needs to be cooked longer). After drinking 30% of my red bean milk tea, I gave the rest to my husband. Even my son who loves boba, said the boba had no flavor so he also didn't want to finish his drink.

This family owned business, and Chloe their cashier, made my experience so much better because she really was knowledgeable on the menu and the best sellers! Even though this spot is new, they already seem to be making their mark in Fremont. Their croffles are so sweet, tasty, and fun! And they come in the cutest pig container lol! Their teas are delicious, and not overly sweet, and all natural ingredients, no syrups! And the popcorn chicken, their newest item that launched today was the perfect crisp and deliciously tender in the inside! Not dry! Def the next hangout spot, as it's super spacious inside with arcade games to keep you busy!

Visited recently and got Jasmine milk tea with boba, popcorn chicken, fried tofu, and oreo croffle. All were good and I'm happy to have this new location nearby. Owner is super nice and I'm looking forward to trying the rice bowls and other snacks.

Glad Cool Tea Bar has opened a new location! I got the grass jelly roasted milk tea and the strawberry smoothie. You can adjust the sweetness on the smoothies. The drinks tasted like what I am used to from their SF Chinatown location! I will say that for the roasted milk tea, it doesn't have the strongest tea flavor (at least when it's 70% sweet), but the roasted flavor comes through nicely. I love how much drink you get with the large size.

Brown sugar milk tea, strawberry milk tea, & popcorn chicken with secret sauce.

This was our first time trying this tea spot after the business changed. They have a lot of drinks available. Drink process range from $6-7.50. Plus $1 per topping. They also make croffles too, that are $7 each. There is a sign for popcorn chicken, fries, & something else. No pricing for that. The area is very spacious and good if you want to do some work or meet some friends. The drinks come in regular and large. Large was bigger than what I thought. We got 2 drinks and popcorn chicken and paid $27.10. Don't get 120% sweetness. The drinks come at a good sweetness level. The two people at the counter were very nice and patient. I would come back again.

    Kumquat green tea, popcorn chicken

I've loved every drink I've gotten from Cool Tea Bar. Everything is consistently so good! The service is always great, and everyone there is friendly and welcoming. Definitely one of my favorite spots! Got a large kumquat green tea here for just $6.50--and it's a full liter (!!), which is basically unheard of in the Bay. The prices in general are amazing for what you get. The croffles are made to order, so they come out fresh, warm, and perfectly crunchy every time. A great spot to hang out or get some studying done.

    Beautiful Spacious interior!

Authentic high-quality Taiwanese tea made fresh daily with a wide selection of drinks and flavors. Fully customizable--choose your size, sugar level, ice level, and favorite toppings to build your perfect drink. Fresh boba is prepared daily, soft and chewy in every cup. Croffles are made fresh to order, warm and crisp, and perfect as a dessert. Spacious seating available to hang out with friends--grab a drink, a dessert, and relax.

    Boba Croffle

I went here during opening day and have a lot of good things to say. First of all, their tea tastes very authentic. The owner told me that they use real tea leaves to make their drinks rather than powder. I got their roasted milk tea (best seller) and lychee milk tea which were both really good and not overly sweet. For me, 50% sweetness was perfect. Their drinks are also pretty value compared to other places! A large is only 50 cents more. I also tried their boba, banana, and Oreo croffles which they make fresh in-house. My favorite was the Oreo croffle since it has a slight crunch with the Oreo crumble. Overall, I appreciated how quick their service was in the end after ordering all of that. In addition to this, they have great ambiance and plenty of seating! Overall would recommend this chill hang-out spot if you are looking for value and high-quality milk/fruit tea drinks!

Banana & matcha croffle, pearl milk tea, mango green tea, and fries w/ sauce!

Staff was really sweet and helpful, the place is overall really spacious and a good study spot. It's not crowded and has bathrooms & an arcade available. The croffles were as expected, they don't get soggy easily and tasted fresh. The milk tea was good however the green tea has a less strong fragrant tea flavor.

They have a large outdoor patio that is partly covered, and plants provided shade to some of the tables that weren't covered. I got the honey lavender latte iced and it exceeded my expectations. Both the lavender and honey were prominent, it was a good balance of flavors. I had taken a few sips after receiving the drink and then didn't drink it again until after all the ice had melted, and it didn't even taste super watered down. A lot of reviews mention parking in Apna Mandi's parking lot behind the cafe. However, the spots in that lot closest to the coffee shop have bright red signs saying "No Coffee Shop Parking" and that violators will be towed. I ended up following one of the reviews and parked in the Safeway plaza across the street. It would be nice if Hops & Beans clarified whether or not customers actually allowed to park in the lot behind the cafe, or any alternatives.

I moved out towards…read morethis neck of the words and was searchin' searchin' searchin', and my thirsty heart led me to here! --- F O O D & D R I N K S --- The first drink I had at Qamaria was the Pistachio Latte with oatmilk and whewwww... easily the best pistachio latte I've ever had. The pistachio flavor tastes rich and legit without being overly sweet or covering up the coffee. A lot of pistachio drinks at other spots taste like artificial syrup, but this one is smooth, balanced, and actually complements the espresso. I also love seeing that deep green color in the clear cups--it just looks so aesthetic and makes the drink feel even more authentic. Honestly, 9 out of 10 times, this is what I'm ordering. If it's your first time here, PLEASE get it. Thankfully my husband is always down to be adventurous and order something different so we can still guarantee at least one pistachio latte on the table lol. His go-to is the Qamaria Latte with oatmilk, sometimes with cold foam. It sounds simple--espresso, steamed milk, cardamom, and cinnamon--but it tastes like comfort in a cup. The cardamom and cinnamon make it feel warm, cozy, and layered without punching you in the face with sugar. Nothing tastes artificial here. Everything feels intentional and made with care. Also, whether you dine in or take it to-go, the drinks always look cute. I LOVE the dine-in presentation though. The iced drinks come in clear glass cups so you can see all the layers, and the hot drinks come in these thick ceramic mugs that make the experience feel extra cozy. And I'm such a sucker for their tray setup too--everything matches the aesthetic so well and makes coffee dates here feel extra special. And don't even get me started on the milk cakes because they are dangerously good. My fave is the Biscoff milk cake. It's super soft, creamy, rich, and has the perfect caramelized cookie flavor without being too sweet. It paired sooo well with the warm spices in the coffee. _______________________________________________________ --- S E R V I C E --- Each barista I ever had was kind and super chill. I never felt rushed and they took their time answering questions. It sounds pretty simple but I feel like even with how busy it can get, they pace themselves accordingly behind the counter so that they are intentional and patient with their customers, and work in a consistent pace that gets drinks done in time and hands them off with care. Very contrast to a cafe where baristas are working so fast-paced that their interactions are short and it feels like that they just want to get the drink over with and passed off to the customer. It all goes back to Qamaria's baristas being intentional with the way that they work. Keep doin' your thing y'all. Love the flow. _______________________________________________________ --- A M B I A N C E -- It's funny because the first time my husband and I pulled up was after dinner on a Friday night. He was feenin' for coffee and was like, "What's even open this late?" Yoooo, finding out Qamaria Yemeni Coffee was open until 1 AM on Fridays and Saturdays instantly made us happy because now we got a late-night spot whenever the cravings hit. Most nights they're open until midnight too, which is dangerous lol. And let me tell you... this place gets CRACKIN'. We came around 10:30 PM and the line was out the door, but I'm so glad we stayed because the drinks changed our life. Even on a random weekday when I met up with a homegirl, we looked up from yappin' for hours and suddenly the line was wrapped outside again. Trust--it's worth the wait. The inside is warm, modern, and culturally rich without feeling forced or overly trendy. The arches, lighting, patterned seating, earthy tones, and artwork make the whole space feel cozy and intentional. Even when it's packed, it still feels welcoming and communal--honestly just proof this is THE spot to be no matter the time of day. People are studying, catching up with friends and fam, working, or just vibing over coffee, and it somehow all works together perfectly. It's the type of café that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile instead of grabbing your drink and leaving.

It was also memorial Day weekend. And our server was really nice and food came out pretty quick. The second time I came here, my experience was completely different. We were put on the wait list which was almost a 30-minute wait. It was pretty busy that day, Sunday around brunch. We were seated in a table where one side is a booth and the other side is a chair, but you can tell that they just wanted to cram as many tables as they could in the restaurant. The spacing in between the tables to our sides was so small, we had to physically move our table just to get in and out of the booth. And we did the same thing when other tables were getting out of the booth. It was also really loud in there. We didn't really like it since we were there to have a nice, chill brunch. We could barely hear each other talking. The service was really slow and it was hard to flag down our server. The food was good and reasonably priced, but the space and ambiance wasn't what we hoped it would be. Another downside is the parking lot. There are so many shops in one small plaza, they didn't plan enough parking spaces for customers. We noticed people having to park in the plaza next door, which I wasn't sure if we were allowed to do. So we just had to drive around the plaza and find whatever spot we could. After being there twice, I don't think I would eat at the restaurant again. I would maybe order to go, but since we don't live in the area it's not likely we would drive all the way there to pick up food.
