Coffee, excellent, I ordered a cotado, and I will admit, the proportions of coffee and the overall amount did not quite understand the assignment, it tasted great, so wil give them that. It's an excellent spot to work out of given the abundance of natural light and the overall aesthetic. The pastries, however, would be shameful to associate with their French origins. Canele? Really? I should have known from the price point for three that they couldn't have possible been legit. Whoever made them must have known that the general lack of familiarity with the actual pastry would allow them to pass this rubbery confection off as a canele.... Please don't sell these if you won't make them properly

If you need a place to get some caffeine, a snack, and a place to study, you've found the ideal spot. The seating here is ideal for working on whatever you need to get done. The staff is great, and pastries are delicious.

A very solid cafe in Jersey City located in, perhaps, one of the most eye-catching apartments in the area. Location: Located about 5 minutes from the Exchange Place PATH station, Canard Cafe Bar is located in a very convenient location with easy access to New York City and other places that can be reached by PATH like Hoboken. Food/Coffee: I usually order iced coffee at this location and have never been disappointed. There also is a very good selection of pastries if you want something light. Service: The service is good, and I never have to wait too long for my cup of Joe. Price: The price is nothing out of the ordinary. Verdict: A good place to stop by if you want a quick cup of coffee and are near Exchange Place Station.

    btw this is the "crepe"

its cute in picture but man is this place HORRIBLE! not only is it uncomfortably quiet but the food was PITIFUL. for 26 dollars i only got 2 crepes more like 2 pieces of CRAP also it's only 1 crepe. that matcha was horrid and the barista had a horrible attitude, we asked him to fix our disgusting matcha and he walked away mid explanation not to mention it was still DISGUSTING. i do not recommend unless ur ready to STARVE.

Canard is that young, hip guy in Williamsburg with plants in his apartment everywhere. He takes his $5 lattes with oat milk and avocado toast. This is his Sunday place to sit down and read a book, but will occasionally bring a date as the selection of pastries is plentiful. The decor inside is stunning and reminds me of a greenhouse which is Urby's signature style. The seating area is large with outlets making it a great place to work from. There is a lot of traffic after 11am and by noon, almost all the seats were taken (this was on Saturday during opening week). Their full menu is available online via the LinkTree in their Instagram page @canardcafebar so you can know what you're getting into beforehand. They have Paris Brest which is my favorite pastry and hard to find outside of France. I see myself stopping by regularly. The ambiance is beautiful and I want to try all the desserts.

So happy this cafe has new management. Can't remember the name before Canard, but thank God they are here now. Bryce who helped me was so nice and recommended the caramel macchiato. The pastries all look delicious and I enjoyed the macaroon and chocolate croissant. I love this place for reading, studying, and even working. It usually is packed, but there are always free seats. Everyone is in their world focused, so I would describe the environment more as quiet. Brownie points: the restrooms are very clean, love the pastries and customer service!

I was searching for a good spot to do some remote work and stumbled upon this café--it was perfect! It's a spacious café with beautiful decor, offering a variety of food, pastries, and drinks. It was quiet, with ample table seating, many spots with outlets and lamps, making it ideal for studying or getting work done. I went on a Saturday morning, and while there were a decent number of people, it never felt crowded due to the size of the space. I ordered an oat milk matcha, which was really good, and a spinach and goat cheese quiche, which was delicious and served warm on a plate for dining in. Located on the first floor of Jersey City Urby, it's in a prime location near the waterfront. After wrapping up my work, I went for a run along the water, and the PATH station is only about an 8-minute walk, making it easy to reach from the city or get around Jersey City. Someone there mentioned that it does get busier at times, as people come from all over to study and work here. I can see why!

Ordered delivery from here today for a latte with soymilk, iced americano, chocolate chip cookie, almond croissant, chocolate eclair, and lemon tart. Order arrived on time. The latte and the iced americano were both very good. We would order them again. Not acidic, very smooth. Great flavor. They forgot the chocolate chip cookie! :( The almond croissant was disappointing. Had sliced almonds on top with a light glaze. It oddly had chocolate inside of it, like a chocolate croissant with almonds on top. Too expensive for what we got. Wouldn't get this again or recommend it. We've had better and for less cost. The chocolate eclair is also not worth the price tag. It's smaller than I thought. The chocolate inside was creamy. The chocolate on top looked nice. Flavor was okay. Wouldn't get it again. The lemon tart was the best of them all! It was flavorful, presentation is beautiful. The merengue on top was delicious with perfect texture and crisp. The crust was held together nicely. The lemon custard was the right texture and flavor. Would definitely get it again and other tarts! Definitely try the tarts! Overall, would order some tarts and the coffee again. :) No thanks to the eclairs and croissants.

Not a lot of reviews for the place, but let's be honest- it's a local spot for workers who are on the move and probably don't have a ton of time to write about it. They're finishing up reports or submitting work proposals or whatnot. So this is where I'm gonna come in with my five star review. Place looks dope. Like super spaced out and got some plants hanging to make me feel like I'm in a greenhouse. Like oxygen is the second most popular thing on the menu- and all you've gotta do is walk in to get the proper serving. Serving staff is on point. Attentive, and quick to getting the items out to you on your way to wherever you need to go. I had a dirty chai latte and it was damned delicious. Woke me up and got me through a rough day. On another day, I got a bagel with bacon and egg and it was filling. Another item that got me through a rough day at the office. Just didn't grab a picture of it because I was on the move to work. I meant to write this review after the first visit just for the dirty chai- but after having the bagel sandwich, it solidified my resolve to get this written and give this spot its much needed praise. So if you're looking for a local NJC spot for a quick fix before a busy workday- make THIS your first and only stop!

Met my sister here for coffee while I was visiting New Jersey with friends. Super cute place! My latte was delicious. My sister had the avocado toast and it was amazing! Loved the decor and the girl that took our order was very friendly!

Upon arrival we noticed the difference in crowds. Not as busy and packed sidewalks. Also it was a lot cleaner than Chinatown. Since we just ate at C-Town, it was time to find a good dessert place in K-Town. So we walked and we walked until I saw a banner sign showing shaved ice desserts. Then I noticed the name of the business is Grace Street. How fitting, because that is my wife's name. So we went in and what caught my eye was a mango shaved ice with mangoes, mochi, strawberries, and condensed milk, however I was over ruled by my wife and we went with the black sesame and mochi and condensed milk. It also had red bean, but that had to be on the side, since that gives me gout. Such nice staff taking orders and we went into the dining area to find a seat. What a large spacious area with many tables. Our order came out and it looked so good. The black sesame shaved ice or snow as it's also referred to as, was perfectly sweetened by the condensed milk and the chewy mochi. Definitely cleaned my pallet from our Chinese lunch and it helped cool me down from the New York heat. We got water, but there was no ice offered, so I asked one of the workers and he was kind enough to get me some. We are through that dessert like, if we didn't finish it fast, it was going to melt. We did not give it a chance to melt one bit. The staff here are efficient, as they saw we were done, they asked to clear our dessert bowl away. It was a nice experience even if it was just dessert. They definitely had more dessert options to offer, but i

I had to run to work after an appointment so I ordered for takeout. The person taking my order was friendly. I opted for the Lumberjack and a black cold brew. I received the drink very quickly, with a short wait for the sandwich. While waiting, one member of the staff stocking up supplies on the side started chatting with me and then she offered to check up on my sandwich. She came out with it shortly thereafter. She was very friendly and helpful. The sandwich held up well during my 15-minute commute to the office. It is a really indulgent sandwich, with each bite revealing the sweetness and butteriness of the maple crueller, the saltiness of the thick cut bacon, and the savoriness of the cheese and the eggs as the yolks popped. I sipped the cold brew in between bites to cut the richness. It was a very satisfying meal. The Lumberjack is not something I would recommend you eat every day, but it's good as an occasional treat. In the past I've ordered lunch from Daily Provisions via delivery (the "Chefy" salad and the chicken milanese with arugula salad are my favorites), but I might start adding other breakfast sandwiches to the mix.

I will say that's it's definitely not a good on-the-go sandwich, as it falls apart easily. However, I don't think this is a great spot for coffee. I was a bit underwhelmed by my latte, which tasted more like thin drip coffee than a rich, strong espresso. I also think they could offer more sweetener options.

Lots of time to view the menu in line since there are multiple taped to the windows. Cookies n' Panna - this was especially creamy, smooth, and flavorful. Good blend of Oreo cookies with a creamy chocolate overall profile. I'm not sure if I can give enough credit to this flavor but definitely try it. They offer panna on the top of all ice cream for a reason, their panna is delicious and they want to show it off (plus it's in the name like come on, can't be more obvious). Banana Moose Tracks - this had a nice banana flavor but unfortunately I think the cookies n' panna melting a bit on top overpowered the flavor. The space is a bit cramped so it's more of a grab and go situation. The Banana Bread Hojicha ($8.75) was wow, it tastes exactly like it sounds. It was sweet enough for me without needing any additional sweetener. The only issue was that the hojicha came out a little grainy, so I think the barista didn't mix it as well as they would matcha. The Cherry Blossom Matcha ($8.50) was everything we imagined cherry blossom to taste like. A lot of times cherry blossom drinks end up tasting pretty off, but this one actually delivered. It's made with ground cherry blossom which I think makes all the difference. The matcha itself was good but the drink runs on the less sweet side, so my husband added honey and brown sugar syrup to his. By the time I got to try it, it tasted just as good as mine. We are definitely coming back for those cocktails.

The salami was good and honestly I'm not a fan of olives but my friend who liked it enjoyed them. Overall - a cute place to stop by for a hot chocolate and maybe a pastry!

While the space is *so* cute and cozy and the service was really nice, the food and beverages left…read moresomething to be desired. We got a torta caprese (flourless chocolate cake), a sfogliatella, a hot chocolate, and a machiatto. The torta caprese was okay. The sfogliatella, which is supposed to be light and crisp, was clearly stale and chewy, although they warmed it up which was a helpful touch. The hot chocolate was reviewed on Instagram as being super rich and decadent, but it was made from a mix that smelled oddly similar to Swiss Miss. the machiatto was also quite watery. Come here for the vibes, but not for the food.
