Loco moco and fried fish
Ethan B.

Ordered the loco moco and the fried fish. Neither were very good. The dole whip was delicious though and the girl at the counter was very friendly. I would say it's definitely not a good value for your money but maybe if you order the right thing you'll have better luck. The loco moco didn't have enough gravy, the eggs were overdone, the meat was bland and rubbery. It's nice in there though! The smoothie was also very good if a little over sweet. Overall small portions too.

2 meat plate with Teriyaki Beef and Chicken Katsu, Macaroni Salad, and white rice. Spam Musubi and Manapua

One of our favorite local eats! My first time eating in the place rather than doing take out, and was a cute spot! Hawaiian vibes were perfect! We tried many items, and literally nothing disappointed! Definitely recommend if you need a Hawaiian food fix. The Macaroni salad was perfect too!!

Pizookie

Had dinner with my mom and sister here on Friday evening and we were excited for some yummy Hawaiian food. We arrived and waited in line to order as there was a family ordering before us and only one person manning the register. Once our turn, we ordered: One two meat plate - Chicken katsu, Kalua pork, macaroni salad, and white rice One meat plate - Kalua pork, macaroni salad, white rice One Spam Masubi One pizookie with ice cream We didn't wait too long and the food was brought to our table. The food came out hot and the portions were decent. We dug in. The Kalua pork was cooked perfectly but needed flavor. It was missing some type of seasoning. The chicken katsu was my favorite as it was flavored, crunchy, and crispy - mmmm. The macaroni salad didn't have any flavor and was bland. The white rice was cooked well and the spam masubi was really basic. The pizookie was pretty good but after a few bites it became a little too sweet, so we only ate half. There are several tables set up inside and an outdoor patio. There were a few patrons dining in and several to go orders so it was a pretty busy night. Service was good. I'm glad we checked this place out. I will be back for some more Chicken Katsu and Chicken Katsu only.

Klaus pork, cabbage salad, white rice.

My husband and I found this place last night after searching on the maps for Hawaiian food. The service was attentive, helpful, and friendly! The atmosphere made you feel like you weren't in Phoenix anymore, like just visiting a local beach or something. We ordered the food to take home and the presentation was perfect, and the food was 10/10 delicious. I ordered the Kalua pork, cabbage salad, white rice. My husband ordered the chicken, beef, spinach salad, and white rice. We are already planning on eating there again!

This place is always consistent, clean, and the service is great! I love the macaroni salad, and the flavor of the chicken! The Katsu chicken is also really good! Don't forget dessert and get the Dole whip ice cream! Did I mention they have slow roasted pig for your next catering event? Give them a shot!

Reminds me of an elevated L&L. I pretty much only want to get Chicken Katsu because I can never…read morereplicate it from a restaurant. When I tried this place, we got a mini katsu and a plate. We were able to replace the sides with more rice at no extra charge for the plate which was really nice. Honestly, it was way too much rice, so next time I'd just omit the sides altogether if I was to reorder this. The mini katsu was more than enough as well. Each piece was perfectly crispy. I loved the steamed veggies. They were unseasoned and balanced out the katsu very well. Worth the price (which was very accurate to the meal and the quality).

I'm giving this place a 4.2/5. It's pretty good for a Hawaiian BBQ spot…read more I got the Teriyaki chicken regular plate with all rice. The chicken was really good and cooked pretty much perfectly. It doesn't have that "char" to it that Hawaiian's cook it like (if you know, you know), but it was cooked almost perfectly imo. The rice wasn't a true Hawaiian sticky rice, but close enough. It almost had more of an Asian texture to it. But it was still good. There was a lot of food, of which I'd expect from a Hawaiian spot. The teriyaki sauce was pretty tasty. It wasn't the best teriyaki sauce I've ever had, but it's a lot better than Ono's Hawaiian BBQ (their chicken teriyaki is trash!). The service was good and fast! The inside was clean and tidy. Was it the best I've ever had? No. But it's good enough to share it with my friends, invite them to go, and go back myself. I'll need to try the chicken katsu and bbq short ribs next time.

My wife and I have eaten here several times in the past without major issue, and we keep going back…read morebecause we generally enjoy it. This past Sunday, Mother's Day 2026, I stopped in around 3:45 to pick up dinner with chicken teriyaki, beef bugolgi, tempura shrimp, white rice, and green salad. It was the only meal of the day that we each ate from the same establishment. After I ordered, I heard the guy cooking complain to the cashier girls up front that it would be awhile, but they didn't repeat the concerns to me, so I didn't pay it any mind. Overnight, Sunday night/ Monday morning, my wife and I both became violently ill. I think maybe that chicken that was gonna take too long to cook, wasn't cooked all the way. It doesn't matter how many times I've eaten here in the past without incident. That was an absolutely terrible experience, and I won't risk it happening again, just because the cook wants to get out of work early. I will never eat here again.

Came for a quick dinner, we come when needing a good fix of Hawaiian food and our favorite food…read moretruck isn't cooking. Wife order the coconut shrimp plate along with their mac salad and I had the bulkogi plate with mac salad. I also ordered a side of fried won ton. I think overall the quality of the food isn't what it used to be although I will say was good today. My bulgogi had some tough, grisly pieces of beef, which is to be expected due to the cut but I've also had this dish elsewhere and found it to be really tender and juicy...not so much today. The fried won ton or ok but again, I remember them being filled with more filling and thought these were a tad over fried. The coconut shrimp was good and it came with some teriyaki chicken as well. Overall a good meal and we will come again!

The staff seemed young and a bit undertrained. They weren't bad, but not particularly attentive either. It was a busy Friday night, which is exactly when stronger management presence would help. - Food overall was good, but nothing stood out as exceptional which is usually a strong point at Korean restaurants. - Bossam didn't come with wraps or sides, which felt like it missed the point of the dish. It lacked that full, satisfying experience I was expecting - Prices felt a bit high for what you get I'll give it another try and update my review after my next visit.
