The food was delicious, and I would come back. I got the carne asada burrito, which is great because it comes with rice and beans. The prices are still reasonable for what you are getting. 10 out of 10.

I only stopped in here for street tacos one day. I would have to say that definitely need a bit of a remodel inside as it's not too inviting. However, the food and the service is on par here. Even with just ordering a few tacos, I got a basket of fresh tortilla chips and fresh salsa as well. Although, there isn't a salsa bar here but the tacos come with plenty of the fixins' that you may want.

Food was good and fair price. Had a chili relleno combination. Also had a carne asada burrito. Will come back.

My favorite one item combo Chile Rellano and a horchata

Local place near me. I've gone here for several years now and the food is always good. Freshly cooked. Best beans and rice around. My favorite is the chile rellano

Ok wow. This place is a California unicorn. Great food with a great price. $10 combination meals? Didnt know they existed in Cali. Got 2 chimichangs (one beef, one chicken) and what the hell, for this price throw in a taco also. Add an ice tea and the price is still $18. I think its the first meal I had here under $20. So left me start with the best part.....the free chips and salsa. Usually you know what to expect with these freebies, but these are off the charts. For the first time I found myself with no chips to use on the beans when the meal came. And the salsa? Can I get some in a bottle to go? Perfect blend and not real spicy. One of the best I have had anywhere. While the salsa was good and mild, the beef was a little on the spicy side. While the level was not too much for me, I know it would be too much for my wife. She wasn't here with me though, so no damage done. They may want to turn it down just a little though. The chicken didn't seem as spicy and had a good overall flavor. Even without chips left, I finished the rice and beans. I usually leave these behind, but not here. If you're looking for some good cheap Mexican food......this is the place.

The 2 guys behind the counter and in the small cooking area on Sundays are great. The best four items to get when coming here is the fish tacos, ther machaca burrito, the shredded beef hardshell tacos, and their carnitas sopes. Their refried beans in the machaca burritos are similar to the pureed type of beans and really make the burrito. You gotta eat it there and definitely put their taco sauce from the squeeze bottle on your food. It has the right kick and flavor that enhances everything. The food always comes out fresh and hot. I can't speak for the other food items. The four items we usually order is tried and true.

I got fish, shrimp, and a potato taco since supposedly that was good too, it was very crispy and flavorful, my favorite though is from The Corner in HB for a mashed potato taco ;) SHRIMP: think this was primo - shrimp felt warm, big, juicy, flavorful, there was hotsauce on it as the menu states iirc. Might consider getting TWO of these instead of the fish. FISH: solid! Comparable to the ensenada fish tacos in fullerton I think? Or maybe that one is slightly better, been awhile. Overall - solid spot, not the cheapest but the quality is good and they don't skimp on protein. Not as good as tacos los cholos but that's further away, this is next door and again - they specialize in different meats!

This neighborhood spot checks every single box: incredible hospitality, house-made hot sauce, food served piping hot and fresh, a wonderful ambience, attentive customer service, and an exceptionally clean dining room. During my visit, I ordered the Number Two combo, featuring a crispy hardshell cheese taco, an enchilada topped with fresh onions, and a side of Mexican rice. Everything was prepared to absolute perfection--hot, fresh, and bursting with authentic flavor. A special shoutout belongs to the cooks for there from scratch, homemade delicious hot sauce. Knowing that a kitchen still takes the time to make their salsa completely from scratch on-site--rather than just cracking open a can--is a rare treat these days. It is so exceptionally delicious that I even tried to buy a bottle to take home. Kudos to the culinary team for keeping things authentic and high quality. Beyond the food, what truly sets this place apart is the incredible generosity of the portions and the genuine warmth of the staff. From the cashier to the cooks in the kitchen, every single person on the team is welcoming, kind, and clearly takes pride in what they do. It is rare to walk into an establishment and feel so immediately at home. The dining area is spotless, the portions will leave you more than satisfied, and the overall experience is stellar from start to finish. I already know this is going to be my go-to spot for catering our next private function. I will definitely be back to patronize them again and again. Thank you to the wonderful team here--keep up the amazing work!

Great flavor, crunchy vegetables, and the portion was huge. But that's not the best part. I'm a sucker for good refried beans. Wow. Some of the best I've ever tasted. You can just tell they smash them fresh every morning. So I got to talking to the waiter, who was great by the way, and he said a while back they changed from lard to real butter in their beans and what a great change that was. The flavor is next level.
