We went in around 1:30pm and it wasn't busy, so we were served promptly. The service was good and efficient, and the food portions were very generous. Prices are very reasonable and the meal was delicious! The chips & salsa, the al pastor plate, and the fajitas plate were all wonderfully made and super flavorful. Great service, reasonable prices, and amazing food. You just order at the counter and they bring it out to your booth. We got the loaded nachos, two shrimp taco plate, and a California burrito. My husband has eaten a lot of California burritos in his life, and he said this was hands-down the best he's ever tasted. The shrimp tacos and nachos were delicious, and you have to get the horchata--it was easily the second-best thing we ordered. Highly recommend! read more

I went here and I just remember not wanting to go back lol. The food was super mid compared to the area for Mexican food. The only redeeming factor is they give you chips and salsa ( I had to ask for it when I sat down lol) and the portion sizes are decent. read more

I only stopped in here for street tacos one day. I would have to say that definitely need a bit of a remodel inside as it's not too inviting. However, the food and the service is on par here. Even with just ordering a few tacos, I got a basket of fresh tortilla chips and fresh salsa as well. Although, there isn't a salsa bar here but the tacos come with plenty of the fixins' that you may want. read more

I moved to the area 3 years ago, and I have been on a quest for a place like the Molcasalsa and Alberto's chains. It is legit authentic based on the staff, customers, and spiciness of the salsa! #muycaliente My first visit: I got the tacos and burrito and it was made to order. Call ahead if you're not willing to wait 10 minutes. Each order comes with complimentary chips and salsa. The chimichanga and flautas are some of the best that I've had, all under $5 a la carte. Almost everything I've tried here has been delicious. I love the chips and salsa that they give weigh your order. Beans are sooo yummy I get mine with double beans and no rice. My favorite here are the chicken flautas- perfectly cooked with a nice crisp and all the toppings are event portioned. Have had the nachos and tacos as well. Everything was on point! One of my favorite spots to grab Mexican food. read more

Their shrimp fajitas and salad are delicious! Chips and salsa are also perfect! Sibel is absolutely amazing! She genuinely cares for the customers, and her presence only adds to the pleasant ambiance. In fact, she even patiently entertains my school-aged Daughter with delightful conversation every time we visit. Young people like Sibel give me hope that the world in which my Baby will grow up will be okay. read more

Ok wow. This place is a California unicorn. Great food with a great price. $10 combination meals? Didnt know they existed in Cali. Got 2 chimichangs (one beef, one chicken) and what the hell, for this price throw in a taco also. Add an ice tea and the price is still $18. I think its the first meal I had here under $20. So left me start with the best part.....the free chips and salsa. Usually you know what to expect with these freebies, but these are off the charts. For the first time I found myself with no chips to use on the beans when the meal came. And the salsa? Can I get some in a bottle to go? Perfect blend and not real spicy. One of the best I have had anywhere. While the salsa was good and mild, the beef was a little on the spicy side. While the level was not too much for me, I know it would be too much for my wife. She wasn't here with me though, so no damage done. They may want to turn it down just a little though. The chicken didn't seem as spicy and had a good overall flavor. Even without chips left, I finished the rice and beans. I usually leave these behind, but not here. If you're looking for some good cheap Mexican food......this is the place. read more

I had the 2 sopes de asada, with rice and beans and an agua the jamaica. $16! The food was authentic and delicious. I appreciated the workers (owners?) we're very kind and helpful. I also enjoyed hearing the workers' friendly banter in the kitchen and with the customers. Good vibes. read more

This is a little gem in Westminster. My wife and I were Craving dorado tacos and found this place on yelp. Restaurant is very clean and quiet. I ordered two tacos, one carnitas and one beef. The food came and we couldn't wait to dig in. The carnitas were delicious and very flavorful. Then I tried the beef and it was just as good. The waitress was very nice and polite. This is one place everyone has to try. We will definitely be back. A+ read more

This place is a hidden gem. Lesser number of 5 star reviews give me that impression. I went in for to go burritos and they were AMAZING! If i have to compare they are way better than estradas and on par if not better than sabrosda. We had a chicken burrito and molacajete special. They were soooo good!!! The quantity is hearty and will fill you up for sure. Value for money.. i think i have found my go to place for burritos. Please support this place . It was kinda sad seeing them empty for Saturday lunch , consider they are AMAZING, and value for money. To the owners, Please put up neon sign or something to stand yourself out. We ordered everything to go & it was still steaming hot when we got home. Everything tasted so good and so fresh. My favorite part was the fresh salsa they give you with every meal. The meals itself was delicious but the sides (rice & beans) could be a little more flavorful, not complaining though bc everything we got was just so good. Portion size was definitely worth its price, I would definitely come back again and try new things on their menu because everything we got was fantastic. The inside of the place is a little run down. We decided to chose a random place for lunch and we happened to spot this small, family owned restaurant in a shopping plaza. We ordered the green chili pork burrito combo, carnitas chimichanga ala carte and baja fish taco ala carte, along with chips and salsa. The green chili pork, carnitas and fish taco were all flavorful and meat, tender. The servings were very generous so I think ala carte is the way to go. The chips and salsa were okay; salsa could've been spicier. Service was ok. There was only one person in the front (cashier/server) and she came by to serve the food and waited at the register the rest of the time. There was only one other occupied table. The food is good but it may be better a place to get takeout rather than a place to gather with family and friends. read more

This place is less than half a mile away and took me easy too many years to try. My favorite is the shrimp Ranchero enchiladas. They are loaded with shrimp, topped with green peppers and onions that adds to the flavor. Their rice is great also, and I usually don't eat the rice & beans. The prices are very reasonable also. read more

Their food is excellent & extremely fresh! I love eating their cheese enchiladas as everything is made fresh. Service is friendly & I can purchase a large tall Coke made with real cane sugar! My partner loves the shrimp tacos! Hands down, one of the best in the area. Many locals from HB & Westminster eat here. Great spot! You do have to pay extra for more chips but it always worth it! Nothin fancy but clean & the quality of the food speaks for itself. read more

Couldn't wait to eat this so I forgot to take a picture before cutting it I can't believe I haven't tried this place out yet! They have a large menu and the food was fantastic. This place is alright. It's nice inside and clean. They display art on the walls from the gallery next door. So there is always something neat to look at. Our group of 4 showed up at lunch time and the place wasn't that full. It took about 5 minutes before the server came over to our table to give us menus because she was the only one working. I gotta say, the food was pretty good. Our table got 2 burritos, sopas, and a combo plate. You should definitely get your burrito wet (covered in sauce) if you get one. It makes it so much better! This place has quickly become one of my go-to lunch spots. The food is consistently great, fresh, and full of flavor, and everything I've tried has been really solid. They move so slow that a line forms behind me anyway. 15 minutes later I finally order: 2 carne asada, 2 al pastor to go, onion + cilantro on the side, salsa included. $2.65 each, FYI. Get home, crack open the foil, and... are these tacos for ants? I'm not crazy, so I did what any rational adult does: pulled out a food scale. Three tacos, weighed the meat. All came in at _under 1 oz_. Normal tacos run 1.5 oz. These are missing a full half-ounce of dignity. I usually need 2-3 bites per taco. These? One bite. I tested it. Slid right in like a communion wafer. Flavor? Aggressively mid. Carne asada tasted like it gave up halfway through cooking. Pastor was just... there. Nothing offensive, nothing memorable. Like a beige PowerPoint slide. Sides? Salsa bar? Pickled onions, grilled jalapeños, radishes? Nah. This place is a desert. You get foil, meat confetti, and the crushing realization that $2.65 bought you disappointment. Now I know why the line died. Taquería Mexico isn't even phoning it in -- they hung up. Orange County really is the undisputed champion of mid tacos. I live 1 mile from the LA County line and I'm forced to cross it like a taco refugee. Sad, because I _want_ to support brick-and-mortar spots. But not when they're actively shrinking my dinner. Giving them 3 stars on Yelp because I was raised right. Real score: 4.8/10.
