They called immediately and quickly got on top of the problem. Their water mitigation and pack-out estimators came within days, at the designated appointment times. The team that carried out the pack-out arrived on time, worked efficiently, and took great care with all the furniture and items that needed to be moved out of the room. The water mitigation team was likewise efficient and skilled in removing the damaged flooring and setting up the blowers that would dry out the room. I was also both impressed and thankful for the support from the QuikResponse office. My calls were always returned immediately, and the office staff was on top of the issues with the insurer, etc., even before I knew there was something to talk about. Three other mold companies I contacted said they would need to demo that entire side of my kitchen, including the counters and a section of the floor. Union Restoration was the only mold remediation company that said they could start by removing just the base and back wall of the sink cabinet, and that there was no reason to touch anything else unless there turned out to be a larger area of mold. Thankfully, the mold was limited to the base of the cabinet, and after cleaning, encapsulating, and drying, we passed the mold clearance testing without a problem (I used Titan Environmental for testing). They also were able to patch up my cabinet and wall afterwards for a very reasonable price, and they made sure my kitchen and their path through the house were completely clean at completion. They've been upfront about all costs and if there were other things that came about, they left the decision up to me to decide if I wanted to fix it or not. We ended up adding in a couple more projects and they were able to help me with that as well. They finished rather quickly and efficiently and left my house without a trace of trash or markings.
