My wife and I purchased some fairly expensive doors from Marcus at Moldings Plus back on March 9th, 2022. It was not until May 11th, 2022 that they were installed the first time. We had some issues with the first set that came in and Marcus did not hesitate to get us a new set of doors. The second set was no better but we decided to take the doors anyways as we liked the design the most out of all the doors we looked at. It does not seem like this door manufacture (EL&EL) takes pride in building quality products. This comment is to the door manufacturer and not MP. Though I am sure I was more difficult than some may wish to deal with, it is because my wife and I work hard for our money and we both expect something to be in brand new perfect condition when spending "any" amount of money. Marcus did everything to make us happy that pertains to Moldings Plus (the door purchase), even though he is very busy he is also 100% customer oriented. If you are looking for new windows or doors, you know who to ask for. Moldings Plus only provide the doors and not the installation, they were installed by a contractor highly recommended by MP. I would "NOT" recommend this contractor to anyone; this is not the fault of MP. Don't hesitate to message me direct or look at my other reviews to see my other reviews. I've been dealing with this company for many years in both commercial and residential projects. I've done business with many sales reps over the years, the most recent being George who it great, and they've all been very knowledgeable and helpful. The delivery guys are top rate--they are courteous, on time and don't whine if they have to go an extra few steps to put the materials somewhere safely on a job site. The true test of a company is when a problem arises and how they deal with it--on the rare occasion of an issue with one of my windows they dealt with it immediately--no hassles. This is a great place for all kinds of molding and the service is also very good. The prices are better than Home Depot or Lowe's. I wanted to dress up my home office window I have retrofit vinyl windows but no trim only curtains. Looked very plain I called moldings plus and Marcus answered he was very helpful over the phone and also when I arrived at the store. He made the whole experience easier to accomplish for sure. After an unfavorable experience in the Customer Will Call area, I called MP, Marcus, answered the call and was the recipient of my complaint. I shared my situation and requested replacement of casing which was pulled in error. My urgency for replacement was due to having contractors at home waiting for the appropriate casing. Randy and his delivery crew are outstanding! They go out of their way to get my deliveries to me as soon as the product comes in. Always communicates when my deliveries will occur. The delivery guys are very polite and will carry heavy doors and place they wherever I ask without an attitude. They clean up their packing materials. Beware of Molding Plus Inc. During my home remodel I purchased all my doors from Moldings Plus. Moldings Plus dropped the ball by not responding when we found the Entry doors did not fit properly. The manufacturer, OrePac, came to my house for inspection and found the doors defective. Moldings Plus only gave me lip service saying that they would replace the doors. I have called them many times and they have swept this defect under the rug. They even lied to the Better Business Bureau by saying that the doors were on order for replacement but that was two months ago. They are not a reputable company. read more
