Jack amazing pace and such friendly and positive vibes idk if he's a manager but he's amazing and deserves a raise! Great service and system. I went in so baffled at how packed it was and left. Whined to my mom and she said "well if you wanna try it it's fine I'm not in a rush LOL" so I went back in ordered and I thought it would take forever but it came out around 5-8 mins?! The TV showing in progress and ready def boosted my morale! Lmao And Jack being so friendly def made my first visit memorable. Got the Apple Milk Tea and Gardenia Milk Tea both were delish and I would get it again. Anyone who wants creamy and fruity the Apple one is great! I know that Hey Tea is their highest competitor. That being said I would def come back to Molly because they showcase teas from all the different regions of China. Yunan, Fujian, Siuchan, Fenghuang, etc. I think it was so smart and cool of them to include the regions for all their drinks!!! Plus you get a great tea fragrance and the fruit flavors I'm glad they kept the flower and pink branding as a big F You to LV. Remember kids it's the Tang Flower first, not the LV flower. Idfc if LV patented first LOL
Visited Molly Tea for the first time last night and I'm sad to say I was a bit let down. Due to all the hype, I was expecting to be blown away by their drinks. Tea quality was very fresh and I could tell that they used good ingredients. They recommend 75% sweet and this was right on the cusp of not too sweet and not sweet enough. While I wasn't disappointed by this, I also wasn't amazed. The drink was balanced but did not have a strong jasmine flavor that I was expecting. Boba was also an ok texture but leaned more on the soft side. Ordering was made easy using their iPad systems and it was organized well. Sorted by drink style, it was simple enough and prompted you through each modification for ice level, sugar amount, and add on's. Leave your name at the end and opt in for texts to receive updates on your order. I appreciated that they have the option to select nuts or not at the pick up counter and confirmed with guests if it was ok to add the pecans. This added a nice hint of nuttiness and texture to the otherwise 'simple drink'. Plenty of seating to sit around and have an after meal sweet treat. Not sure if I would find myself making a trip out of it to come get a drink here but it was definitely worth the try.

Always a wait here but they move pretty quickly. My friends love the snowy jasmine but it kinda just tastes like milk to me. I tried the Jasmine Apple milk tea and it wasn't bad but not my favorite, probably wouldn't get again. If you like fruity and floral milk teas, definitely try it. It's on the refreshing side and creamy. Small parking lot, but there's street parking in the neighborhood
06/06/26 Saturday Stopped by in the evening and it was quite busy, but no line to order. We ordered, via the Kiosk, a hot Osmanthus Milk Tea. It came out promptly. We selected all the recommended selections. The interior of the store is very modern and spacious with ceiling the floor windows and tall ceiling. There's outdoor seating as well. Milk tea was good but osmanthus could've been a little stronger. I've been wanting to come and see what the hype is about.
Loved my first visit here! The iced tea was delicious and clearly high quality, plus the cute complimentary magnet made my day since I love magnets! Parking was a challenge so I parked in the neighborhood. Service was great and they close late which is a major plus!
I was looking for a boba shop with wifi where I could get some work done and my partner found this spot. We arrived around 1:30 on a Saturday. The parking lot was awful. It probably had 3 normal spots, a handicap spot, and two small spots. We did notice there was a bigger parking lot in the back for customer parking, but that probably had another 5-10 spots if you count the spots against the wall. When we entered, I saw there were two kiosks to order. While scanning the place, I also saw there was one open table (they probably had a total of 10), so I jumped on that since I was there to get some work done. My partner ordered me a Premium Jasmine Milk Tea with boba, and he got a mango smoothie. There is a sign above the employee's heads that show the status of each order and I saw that ours was a 4 minute wait. I really like that it showed the wait time, and quite frankly, it was accurate too! When the drinks came, they were good. My milk tea had a strong jasmine flavor (which I like and find impressive when you can taste that in a milk tea), and the boba was sweet and soft. Absolutely nothing wrong with the quality of the drinks, or the service here. My biggest gripe with the establishment was it was so hot in the business. I was sweating from just sitting there filling out paperwork. I also tried to connect to wifi and whenever I selected the Guest Wifi it wouldn't connect. My partner ended up using his hot spot. Because I was looking for a place to get work done, this place simply did not do it for me. This seemed to be more of a hangout and chill with friends type of spot. If I wanted to just grab and go, then maybe I'd come back. However, since this is located in the heart of SGV and there are so many other boba places just as good with better parking, I don't think I'll be back to this location.
I have tried the Molly Tea in Arcadia. My experience there was wonderful. Thought I give this Molly Tea in San Gabriel a try. First time here of course. Outside has limited patio seating with a cute Molly cup statue. Please note parking is very limited at the front of the shop. There are some parking behind the building, but it looks like it's where the employees park because none of the cars were coming out while I was here. Anyway, there is street parking if you're lucky to find some... do read the signages. Now to the interior... WOW, it's quite spacious, bright, and clean! Love the simple and beautiful decor. Lots of inside seating along the windows and walls. Only one all gender restroom for customer use only. Lots of friendly staff behind the counter making drinks and passing them out. Two self-order kiosks available for use. I don't think they take orders at the counter though. Easy to manuever through the kiosk screens. Quite a unique selection of drinks. Prices are decent. Got 4 drinks total and they came out timely. Thought I try something different from last time. I took the recommended 70% sweetness on a couple drinks ... it wasn't a great idea unfortunately because there was no sweetness whatsoever. I'm going to stick with 100% sweetness at least for the 1st time trying a new drink and adjust there after. Just a tip. 1. Premium Jasmine Tea - Hands down amazing jasmine flavor! But due to the 70% sweetness, it was slightly bitter in taste. Need some sugar next time. 2. Snowy Jasmine - Didn't get the jasmine flavor like I did with the Premium Jasmine Tea. Not really sure how I feel about this drink. It was just meh. Just no flavor at all IMHO. 3. Jasmine Mango Smoothie - Now this was the BEST drink out of the 4! Mango in the house. Didn't get too much of the jasmine flavor and that was fine with me. Highly recommend this one and would get it again for sure. 4. Tongmu Lapsang Bubble Tea - My Mom enjoyed this drink. She said tea flavor was good and the boba was soft and chewy. It's a thumbs up in her book! I wanted to try their Pistachio White Champaca Coconut, but they ran out. I guess I'll have to come here early to snatch one of their popular drinks. See you next time Molly!
Sorry, a friend suggested this place so I deviated from my usual boba shops (Wushiland, Guiji, Half & Half) and I don't get the hype. The wait was long, the drink was meh. Nice decor. The screens with your number was giving me DMV vibes. Won't be back.
The snowy jasmine has been on my list forever. It's all over social media and I've been so excited to try it. Everything is via kiosk so very little interaction. There's plenty of tables inside--not ideal to study, more to catch up and hangout. The drink itself was so disappointing. It truly tasted like iced milk with extra whipped cream on top. I was hoping for a more tea taste but it was way too much milk/cream. Will give it a second shot and try their tea without the cream/milk and will update the review.
Came in for a drink with my daughter. They only got drink here. For me it was an ok drink it was all that great boba didnt taste fresh at all. I had the jasmine tea with boba. My daughter drink was ok as well she had the matcha drink. Service wasn't greeted, you just have to order on kiosk and they get ready. The got a screen on the wall when your number is ready. Ambience has a sitting area and a small table which looks kinda cute.
Drinks r delicious but the ac clearly qas not working and it was very uncomfortable trying to enjoy the drink there in 90+ degree weather. The space inside was so spacious and pretty it would have been nice to enjoy my sips here. Service was fast though.
We've heard great stuff about this place and noticed the hype. The hype is well justified. I love floral and fragrant milk tea. This is by far the best I've had. I would take a drive back here just to order the white champaca again. It's just so different compared to other floral and tea forward milk teas. This one has a very fragrant aftertaste that isn't over sweet or too floral. It's just very hard to describe how good this actually is. It's definitely worth the drive and an absolute must try. It absolutely lives up to its hype. The only con is that we don't have one near us, but that could also be a pro because I'm sure I'd be buying here all the time.
Molly Tea is a popular boba chain in China with its first store opening in Shenzhen, China in 2021. They opened their first US store in Flushing, New York in April 2024. Molly Tea has over 2,000 stores worldwide as of November 2025. This San Gabriel store location isn't exactly the luckiest location as many boba shops have opened and closed here over the past decade (Boba Ave 8090, ID Cha House, 85C Tea House), but it looks like Molly Tea is having great success here. [Parking]: Limited free onsite parking. I came at 3 PM on a weekday so I was able to find an available street parking spot. [Atmosphere & amenities]: About 12 indoor tables and 4 outdoor tables. There is one giant pink teacup in the patio area to take pictures with. They host events like Furry Friend's Party on Saturdays and Sundays (bring your pets to the store and receive a free pet-friendly whipped cream with any purchase - one pet per cup & each customer may receive up to 2 cups per day, limited to 100 cups per day). There is one unisex restroom. [Ordering]: Customers place their orders through one of two kiosks and customers can also purchase Molly Tea souvenirs. Once an order is placed, customers can monitor the screen at the pickup counter to track their order number. They offer large-order discounts: over 20 drinks get 10% off, over 30 drinks get 12% off, over 60 drinks get 15% off, and over 100 drinks get 17% off (orders must be placed in the app). I waited about 25 minutes for my drink and there is a sign stating that during peak hours wait times can be 30 to 45 minutes. [Menu]: There is a sign recommending that drinks with foam should be consumed within 15 minutes as the foam dissipates quickly. Another sign states that their drinks are not very sweet and recommends a 70% sugar level with less ice. The top drinks on the menu are Premium Jasmine Milk Tea, Snowy Jasmine, Premium Jasmine Matcha, Pistachio White Champaca Coconut, White Champaca Milk Tea, and Pistachio Jasmine Coconut. *** Premium Jasmine Milk Tea (regular milk, less ice, sugar 70%, $6.99 + brown sugar boba $0.99): The drink was surprisingly refreshing and quite good with perfect sweetness, but the boba tasted mediocre. *** The drink was a bit expensive and the wait was not ideal, but I can certainly see the appeal. I like Molly Tea better than Chagee, but Chagee has a better price point. A solid 4.5-star on drinks, but bump down due to the mediocre boba, long wait during not-so-busy hours, and limited parking. read more
If you like trendy spots, Molly Tea is definitely a great choice. The shop is beautiful, modern, and especially very clean. The staff are polite, welcoming, and professional. As for the drinks, they are good and easy to enjoy. The tea flavor is not too strong, and the drinks are not overly sweet, which makes them very refreshing and easy to drink. There's a reason this spot is so popular--the tea is really good! I went with the classic premium Jasmine milk tea since this was my first time there, and I got it iced at 50% sweet. They recommend 70% sweet, but I thought 50% was just right. I also got boba, but honestly the brown sugar boba just ruined the flavor, I think I'll get crystal boba next time. I love the packaging as well! Such cute pink cups. They definitely need more areas to sit and park, there was a ton of people there on a Sunday afternoon. The service was honestly not fast, but they were super slammed so I understand. We waited quite a while, but at least they had a board showing which orders were being made. I hate that I love this place. The drinks are insanely good but so pricey. The space is absolute chaos and there are more people inside than should be allowed. You'll also wait 20 minutes for a drink and never get a table. Still worth it though. read more
I would say this was an average spot - it's like a typical boba place, wouldn't say you need to go out of your way for it but if you're near it, pretty decent choices and place. There's plenty of space to sit and parking in the front and back and street parking but gets filled up pretty quickly. I wanted to try this place because I heard from a friend that it was sooo good- compared to regular boba places, I would say this is a little stronger in the tea but otherwise it's about the same. I got the premium matcha jasmine tea, but curious to come back to try the champaca and pistachio ones. read more

Interior: Medium size shop but it was insanely packed. Would be great for large groups but studying but not with the crowds. Wait Time: 1-2hr wait after ordering from kiosk (10min). Items Order: 7/10 DanCong Oolong MT $7 - felt like drinking regular milk tea. the tea flavor was there but wasn't WOW 8/10 White Champaca MT $7 - very floral. Solid drink overall. 7/10 Matcha Jasmine Salted Cheese $7.5 - matcha was average, salted cheese was a good addition but nothing special overall molly felt like an average tea shop. not worth over a 10min wait. plenty of boba spots in the area read more
This place is so aesthetic and the drinks were good, making it a decent place to study or hang with friends. They're very busy though so the drink took a while to come out but their service itself is pretty fast. Their drinks cater more to asian taste where it's "not too sweet". I got the White Champaca Hazelnut Choco Lava and Premium Jasmine Matcha, both at 100% regular sweetness but they were still mild in flavor. I'd compare their taste/flavor similar to that of Chagee's. I heard their other jasmine drink is the most delicious though so i'm excited to come back to try it! read more

Went back home to the 626 and had to stop by at Molly tea. This tea spot is amazinggg! I am obsessed. I went yesterday and got their new menu item - mango jasmine coconut tea and omgg I am so addicted. They have real chunks of mango. There were also giving out their limited edition stickers and pins this week, so I was so happy to get all the cute free goodies along with the drink. I also got an iced jasmine brew tea with 0% sugar - it was so aromatic and strong exactly how I like it. The shop is always soo busy, but the service is very quick. Drinks come out within 10 minutes. The workers are soo fast and efficient making the drinks. You also order at a self kiosk. They do take apple pay. There are tables inside and outdoors. It can get pretty loud and is more of a social gathering spot. I am so happy this tea spot is very close to home. read more
Tongmu Lapsang Milk Tea - 5/5 very refreshing but tastes like regular milk tea at any other boba shop Jasmine Mango Smoothie - 4/5 flavor is so nice and not overpowering I would have opted out of the sago and crystal boba tho :/ Osmanthus Milk Tea - 5/5 also very refreshing- so far my favorite White Champaca Matcha with Salted Cheese - 3.5/5 the flavor was too much and the matcha isn't unique or special. Would do without the cream cheese and matcha foam. Apple Jasmine Milk Tea - 2/5 not a great flavor at all. Tastes a bit artificial. Service and ambiance: Wait a while to get your order cause it's so busy but worth it. They work very hard and it's mostly clean? No automatic doors but inside is spacious if u go during the week but still busy and can be small during rush. Limited outside seating. read more
I got the Snowy Jasmine as a recommendation from my friends who have been here before. It was good! I actually just took off the cap and ate the whipped cream and pecans first LOL Drink Rating: 7.8/10 Service was a bit busy but I got my drink after 20 minutes of waiting on a weekend afternoon. This place is pretty busy so expect a longer wait than other places. This place feels more like a grab and go typa place, I wouldn't stay here to socialize unless it's outside since the inside be kinda loud imo. read more
Finally tried Molly Tea this weekend! I tried the premium jasmine milk tea with oat milk 30% sweet and added brown sugar boba- I loved this! The floral jasmine flavor was strong, and paired well with the creaminess from the oat milk. I thought the sweetness level was perfect (for me and my Asian girlies). My partner got the Tongmu Lapsang Salted Cheese milk tea 70% sweet with brown sugar boba- this was definitely a much sweeter and richer drink but damn was it good. If you're a sucker for cream cheese like me, get this one!! There was a crazy queue when we arrived mid-afternoon on a Sunday. We waited a little over 30 min after ordering before getting our drinks. If you have the time to wait, I'd say it's worth it. read more
Molly tea is the real deal. First off somehow the glass on the front door broke. 2 workers. Came to me to tell me to watch out. Because I had my dog with me. Super considerate Got the Jasmin milk tea. Regular 70 percent recommended sweeetness. Most popular drink. It was great. Very fragrant. Not too sweet. Such a good quality drink. It does get busy. People order a lot of drink so it might take a long time. They did have a screen out that calls your number and for some reason they didn't call mine. And my drink was just sitting there. Molly Tea is seriously good. The milk to tea ratio is not overpowering at all, which makes it better than CHAGEE--I'm still working through a list of all the latest Chinese/Taiwanese tea shop openings in LA. 30% sweetness is perfect. Be prepared to wait 30-45 min for your drinks. The short order lines are deceptive. read more
Overall rating of my experience: 2.5/5 - 1 hour wait from standing in line to order to getting our drinks - The premium jasmine matcha tasted like milk with a hint of jasmine tea. I was pretty disappointed with my drink. - The jasmine tea my bf ordered was fragrant, strong, and good. - There is a small parking lot but plenty of residential street parking. Just be aware of street signs. - There's some seating indoors and outdoors. - There's two self order kiosks. It was slightly confusing in terms of where the ordering line ended bc people were standing around waiting for their drinks. - Ordering didn't take long but waiting for them to make our drinks took the longest given the amount of orders ahead of us (including mobile orders). - The pink aesthetic and packaging is cute but overall disappointed with the drink I ordered. read more

Been to molly tea a couple of times already, it is pretty overrated imo but i love any peach oolong tea latte. Drinks: Snowy peach oolong & snowy jasmine I recommend ordering online before arrival unless you are okay with waiting in line for the 2 kiosks. Workers don't take orders from their pos because it gets very busy, keep in mind drinks wait time can take up to 45 minutes or more. Parking is very very limited so you'll most likely park in neighborhood streets :) read more
I might get backlash for this, but the drink I had here was pretty mid and overrated. I got the Snowy Jasmine which is their signature Jasmine Milk Tea with a whipped cream top. The tea itself was pretty disappointing. I got it at 70% sweetness, but it lacked flavor and seemed watered down. I did get more flavor when I got to the bottom of the drink, so it was not mixed well. Compared to similar products at Chagee and Bako Tea House, the flavor was super weak in comparison. Considering the prestige of this brand, I have a feeling I just got a bad order. The whipped cream was solid though and I enjoyed munching on the crushed pecan toppings. I would reccommend downloading the Molly Tea app and placing your order in advance since the wait times can get pretty long. I visisted this shop on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy. I had to wait an additional 20 minutes after my designated wait time from the app for my drink to be ready. For parking, there's a tiny lot in front that's usually occuppied, but also street parking. There's a decent amount of seating and tables inside, but again it does get pretty busy. I would try Molly Tea's product again, but today's rating mostly reflects my drink's flavoring. read more

The hype hasnt died down. The lines are still long. I don't know what crack they're putting in their drinks to make people come out for more. I came with a group of friends and it hasn't gotten any better. The pick up area has a hoard of people gawking at the workers get drinks out. Doesn't seem like ordering online would be any better because you'd still have to wait around. This time I got the jasmine oolong whatever the name was at 50% sweet. It looks like their menu has gotten bigger because they included apple flavored milk tea. My sister got some brown sugar milk tea boba drink topped with cocoa powder. It took an hour to wait for drinks, and time was spent by people watching and seeing a Prius make an illegal U-turn in front of the store, followed by an orchestra of honking. We got some idiots crowded by the door after I told them excuse me in a firm yet audible tone. Very lukewarm experience this time around. My drink is good, but I can't say the same for my sister. Boba was mushy and stale. Don't think I'd return after this visit on my own time. read more
Parking is small in the parking lots so it's probably better to find street parking and just walk to the store. It was my first time visiting so I didn't know we could place mobile orders through the app. Ordered at one of the two kiosks and waited for around 30 minutes until our number was ready. Lots of people sitting there waiting for their drinks. I ordered the premium jasmine milk tea. The tea had a really nice floral taste. Would stop by again but place an order on the app instead of waiting there. read more

Came across this business through social media and decided to give it a try recently. As i drove passed the business i couldn't help but notice the insane amount of people at this boba business, not surprising given the social media clout it has. I ordered the Pistachio Jasmine Coconut Boba Tea and it was 9/10. Molly Tea delivers with its great balance of flavor in this particular drink. Not one single flavor overpowers the entire drink. You get a real taste of Jasmine tea, coconut and pistachios. I also enjoyed how Molly Tea integrates real pistachio crumbs in the drink giving it an extra kick in flavor and texture. I like to considered myself an avid boba drinker and i can say with confidence Molly Tea has also great boba texture and sweet flavor. All in all, i was thoroughly impressed with the Pistachio Jasmine Coconut Boba drink i ordered. If you decide to order inside, it can get pretty chaotic since the kiosks often have crowds gathered around them with no clear lines. If you don't wanna wait long for your drink, i would say try some other place cause this business sure does have its crowds on weekends. Parking itself was tricky as their lot was full and nearby street parking was all taken. Highly recommend ordering ahead of time to avoid waiting long period of time. I waited close to 35 minutes for my drink to come out. The business has many tables and seats inside but could get real loud with peoples conversations. read more

First time trying Molly Tea, and I had a really great experience! The shop was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The jasmine milk tea had a really nice tea aroma and tasted smooth and refreshing without being overly sweet. I really liked how well the jasmine flavor balanced with the creamy milk. The staff was also friendly and the service was quick. Definitely a great spot if you prefer milk tea with a stronger tea flavor that isn't too heavy or sweet. The hype is real. Probably one of the best and simplest tea I've ever had. They're known for their jasmine brewed tea and the aftertaste is sooooo delishhhhh. The wait was 45 mins on the weekend tho so I was tempted to subtract one star from this. Apparently you could also order online and pick up. The parking lot in the front is super small so you might have to circle around for parking. The crystal boba is also very unique but it has no taste. Mainly just like chewier boba that isn't sweet. I think it goes well with the jasmine milk tea. read more
DRINKS Great light floral teas. I tried my Camelia Zest tea, and it was delicious, but not $6.79 delicious. Also unfortunate is how much of the drink volume is taken up by the fresh orange slices inside. They took up even more space than ice, so that's sort of a scam and robbing you of more drink. I gave my Jasmine Mango Smoothie ($6.99) away to a stranger jogging by. He asked "what is this place?" He said he jogs by after work every night and has to dodge traffic in the form of both people and cars just to make it out alive on the mean streets of San Gabriel. I explained to him that I ordered at 11:08pm and my number was 1213- my heart dropped when I looked at the monitor and the "ready" orders were numbered a full 60 digits before mine in the mid 1100s. Which is crazy work when you consider there's no drink limit per order. May as well have been a thousand drinks ahead of mine. I received my three drinks an hour later at 12:12am. Ordered my drinks on Sunday and got them on Monday lol My mother sampled the Snowy Gardenia $7.79 and she enjoyed it. She did not have to do the work of coming here and ordering, though. I'd like my drink more if I didn't have to deal with this place. EXPERIENCE Even if the tea is good, I can't justify giving any tea shop a mark above 3 stars when it takes over an hour to get drinks out. No matter how nice or clean the shop aesthetics are. Since they're NEW, I'll revisit at some point and see if they act on any of their metrics and make improvements to the operation and whatever bottlenecks there are on drink output. Less drink options overall, limit options at night, set a maximum, hire more people, complete orders in batches- something anything to improve the awful wait time. Six workers on bar in the FOH, who knows how many working feverishly BOH on a Sunday night around 11pm and an hour plus is the best they can do :/ I was surprised, it felt like going to a tea house pre-COVID the way people were loitering. PARKING Very small parking lot, don't attempt it. Plenty of street parking around, since this is off Valley Blvd. Some indoor and outdoor seating but not enough for how many people are here ordering tea. read more
Took a while to get our drinks that were right in front of us as we stood for what felt like 10 long minutes. Could've gotten our drinks sooner under a min if our names had been called out. Tried the Jasmine matcha with 50% sugar and it was very milky from not mixing it and it was okay, nothing special. Then went back to try their mango smoothie with sago and definitely liked the fresh fruit drink over their latte. Paired nicely with the sago. Inside looked modern, was well lit, but had a lot of people both inside and outside the cafe with hardly a place to sit. Feels overhyped. 8/10 read more
Premium boba spot ! This place is always packed and for good reason ! I've gone twice now and got the premium Jasmine Milk tea both times. The tea flavors are definitely accentuated by their unique three-tier straw which allows for tea aeration. The place itself has an acceptable amount of seating but it's normally hard to find a place to sit since it's always so packed. Would recommend to those in the area looking for premium milk tea! Pro-tip: call in advance to estimate wait times and take advantage of their online pickup system ! read more
No matter what time or day you go, there will always be a wait. Street parking is recommended (there's a back parking with like 5 spots and hard to get out of) + nice ambience. Also recommend ordering online! We got a variety of drinks listed below. Their drinks have a nice floral fragrance that last even when you store it in the fridge which I appreciate. I waited an hour for my drink which is why I rated it lower. Other than that, the tea is really good quality, super fragrant, and creamy. They have different toppings than other boba stores. If I could order online, then I would return and give it a higher rating. I wouldn't park in the lot, you will need to do a three point turn to exit, the driveway is extremely steep, and compact cars only. Also, parking rules are enforced in the neighborhood. read more

4.5 seems right for the place Seems like more of a pick up place. They have two kiosks that 90% of people order from. I tired the hazelnut choco lava and it was pretty tasty. It's interesting that it was recommends less ice and 70% sugar, it came out well. I got Boba as well, but probably don't need to add in the future. My friend got a matcha jasmine salted cheese which they also liked. About $10 after tax and tip per drink The tables are somewhat cleaned, but not often. The indoor space is less comfortable and louder than the more relaxed outside area. They have a small parking lot shared with the UPS Store and Plenty of street parking. read more

I really wanted to like Molly Tea. I'd heard so much about their floral teas and how unique they are, so my friend and I went on a Sunday night fully expecting a wait. And yes, it was a wait. About 40 minutes. The ambiance had nice lighting but it was crowded and packed like sardines. We came prepared with a card game and played multiple rounds of Sabobatage before our drinks were finally called (if this gives you a hint of mental preparation when coming). Parking was already a bit of a headache. The lot is extremely small and fills up fast, so we had to circle and eventually park on the street. Not the end of the world, but it set the tone. I ordered the White Champaca Milk Tea (2/5). It's described as having jasmine notes, and I chose 25% sweetness instead of the recommended 75% because I've heard their drinks can lean heavily floral. Maybe that was my mistake for adjusting the sweetness, but the drink just felt... flat. It wasn't bold, it wasn't memorable, and it didn't taste particularly special. For something I waited 40 minutes for, I expected more complexity or at least something distinct. What really left a bad impression, though, was the service. The lid on my drink popped off almost immediately. I tried pressing it back on several times and it wouldn't stay sealed no matter how much I tried. When I went up to ask for help, I was met with a look that made me feel like I was being dramatic. The lid was placed back on and handed to me and when I picked up the cup to walk away, it popped off again. I was going to ask for a new cup, but the worker gave me a snarky look and she walked away before I could even say anything. At that point, I just gave up and drank it without a lid. It left a sour taste in my mouth about this establisment because I didn't feel valued as a customer. It's frustrating when a place has so much hype but the experience doesn't match it. Between the parking hassle, long wait, underwhelming drink, and dismissive service, I left feeling more disappointed than impressed. I wanted this to be a new go-to spot. original pick up time was 1:47 then it got pushed to 2:04 now it's 2:50 and our drink is not ready and there's a ton of other people who have been waiting for an hour. Molly Tea is greedy and has all delivery platforms on when their operations and staff arent equipped to support it. This causes customers to waste HOURS of their time waiting here for mediocre drinks... Molly Tea should turn off delivery platforms during peak hours if they cannot handle it. The area around there was congested with traffic just to park in the streets. I ended up doing my own curb side pick up and did a quick pick up from my aunt who was able to park and order. Premium jasmine milk tea $7 - you will get the hype with this drink. The tea flavor is top quality and doesn't have that tea residue feeling in your mouth. Half sugar was just right and the boba was soft and chewy. read more
