Molly Tea is a super popular spot for milk tea. Would highly recommend ordering ahead of time and picking up especially over the weekend. Otherwise you're probably looking at easily an 1+ hour wait. I was grabbing dimsum nearby with family on Christmas Day and decided to pick up a drink from here for a post lunch treat. I saw some reviews saying that the wait times here were long, so I ordered online via Chowbus. Unfortunately something went wrong with their texting system, and I never got a text confirmation for my order. I had no idea when my order would be ready. I showed up to the store 50 minutes after I ordered to inquire and was told they were making drinks for orders placed one hour ago. They weren't ready with my order yet. Overall it was about 70 minutes after my order was placed that it was ready. It was a little bit confusing because my number was showing on the ready screen, but it wasn't actually ready for another 10 minutes. This seemed to be a common problem, as I heard it happening to other folks who tried to pick up their drinks. The store had a decent amount of seating, but it was completely packed on Christmas day. Also parking was kind of a pain. We got lucky with a spot in the small lot right in front of the restaurant, but there were only maybe five or six spots along with two handicapped ones, so your best bet is to find parking elsewhere and walk over. I got the premium jasmine milk tea for $6.99, as that seems to be their most popular drink. It was really good; I can see why it's so popular. The flavor of the jasmine tea really came through in the drink. I would totally get it again, but I thought it was a bit on the pricey side for the amount you get. I got it with 70% sweetness, which is the recommended amount, but I might try for 100% next time. I felt like 70% was okay, but after the ice started melting, the drink became a bit too diluted. 3.4 stars I got Jasmine Milk Tea and, while it is delicious, I don't think it's worth the price. Here, you pay for quality and packaging. Street parking was ok on New Year's day, but the shop was still very crowded and loud. There are only 2 kiosks and it wasn't very intuitive. By intuitive, I mean, the drinks aren't categorized well - the number 1 drink that kept popping up on every tab was Jasmine tea and there was no separate tab for their matchas or anything else. Their website said there was Gardenia tea and I was hoping to get that, but it wasn't on the kiosk (or maybe I missed it). Additionally, adding the 2026 free pin w/ 2 drink purchase was scary b/c it was listed as $9,999.00. That amount got deducted at check-out, but that was definitely a confusing moment for me. From the time I got in line to the time I picked up my drinks, I think it was about 20 minutes, which isn't a bad time to wait. The seating is uncomfortable and the parking lot is way too tiny. Enamoring Jasmine Milk Tea but topping add on options are limited and the parking situation is atrocious. Molly Tea is the new thing in SGV so it's crazy insane getting in, with parking being the main challenge. Their small strip mall spot has only a few parking spots and the street it's next to is no better. Once you are in, there's a line to order on the screen and then another wait line for your drink, but even with tons of people, my drink came out in under ten minutes. The store itself is pretty big for a milk tea place. They do also sell pins and collectibles from their own line of animated characters. Jasmine Milk Tea - This is the main milk tea drink if you want a basic go to. You can splurge and add whipped cream with pecans. I liked it, it had a strong enough Jasmine presence and wasn't overly sweetened. With the whipped cream and pecans it's fun, without the drink is more of a typical jasmine milk tea. The interesting thing is that on the cup they specifically ask you to drink it within the hour you receive it as they say the ingredients start to break down and the drink is not as flavorful as intended. One of these times I will try one of their matchas or other drinks. As I stated before, this location is packed and it is hard to park. I would come back if it were easier to park and get in and out, but that seems like quite the challenge. I've had Molly Tea about 3 times now (the first time being in the bay) and I can say with confidence that it is a quality tea shop! I was never a huge floral or jasmine milk tea kind of person but this place is an exception. There's just something about it that is so refreshing and nice for the taste buds. I always get the jasmine milk tea and sometimes with the whipped cream on top that does cost an extra dollar. However, be prepared to wait long for your drink and walk over from parking somewhere else (unless you get lucky). The Premium Jasmine Milk Tea ($7.99) tasted pretty much identical to the Jasmine Matcha Milk Tea. I requested it with less ice, half sweet, and with oat milk and all the adjustments were free of charge. The milk tea was so bland and the tea tasted very weak. Holy moly, was this place packed to the brim (on a Saturday). Out of curiosity and spurred by my friend's rave reviews, I became a person who would wait well over an hour to get a drink. Parking here was atrocious. The lot was teeny, so we resorted to parking along the adjacent narrow street. The line was out the door. When you finally get to the front of the line, you'll be greeted by kiosks where you'll place your drink order. Sure, there's seating, but with the overwhelming amount of foot traffic this place receives, good luck finding a spot to sit down and enjoy your drinks. DRINK: This place is known for its strong tea flavors. It is definitely floral, but surprisingly, does not taste perfumey. Snowy Jasmine (5/5) - Delish! I thoroughly enjoyed this drink. A strong jasmine milk tea topped with whipped cream and candied pecans. If I remember correctly, the topping options are pretty limited compared to other boba shops in SoCal. They had very tiny straws that prevented me from inhaling my drinks like I usually do. In a way, I guess it forced me to appreciate and "taste" my drink more than I usually attempt to. I got the jasmine milk tea that they're known for (100% sweetness, with oat milk) with brown sugar boba and it honestly was almost inedible. And I love jasmine tea usually-maybe I should have got it less sweet, or with regular milk instead? I don't know what went wrong here, considering how many people seem to love it. The jasmine tea itself was below average, it tasted very milky and the tea flavor was not coming through strong enough. I think crowd control is needed, especially when there's no real line for pickup and so a lot of people are just bunched around the counter, making it hard for people to pick up their orders if theirs is ready. Not to mention it was hot and musty inside . Also, no fault to the shop, but the parking is a bit difficult so I recommend parking at a different plaza somewhere down the street and walking over. I understand the hype now. One of my new favorite places for tea now. There's just too many to have one favorite, but Molly tea is right up there. Delicate is probably the best way to describe their drinks. Parking is the worst part of Molly tea's location. I think there's only 4 or 5 spots in front. One large car or one bad parking job (common) and good luck parking. Just park on the street somewhere and it'll be much easier for you. Outside there's some photo-ops and tables to sit as well as inside. Bright and clean setting. It can get really busy here. There's two kiosks for you to order, but lines can get fairly long depending on how long it takes for people to put in their order. I'd recommend you look at the menu on the wall while you're waiting to get an idea of what you want. I believe if you get a seat/table, there's also a QR code you can order from or you can order ahead From there you'll wait a bit for them to prepare and pack your order. So Molly Tea (word play on Jasmine) is known for their Jasmine teas. And wow they're delicious. With jasmine tea, it's light, refreshing and pairs well with floral notes which Molly does really well. If you're looking for more of the bitter, darker teas, this isn't the right place for it. Their high mountain tea is also very good. You really can't go wrong with any of their drinks though I would recommend the white Champaca milk tea. Very floral, light, refreshing without losing the essence of the tea The jasmine milk tea or just plain jasmine tea are why I'd consider their drinks delicate. Well prepared, excellent flavors. The floral and tea scents really come through. One thing I thought was slightly off and unnecessary was a staff going around offering a Molly tea branded paper bag for positive reviews. We didn't do it since I think they deserve it, but I'm not a fan of places "buying" reviews. Give this place a try and I'm sure you'll understand the hype around it. Finally got to try Molly Tea! Molly tea is super popular in China, and they have opened up a handful of locations here in the states. The cafe itself is so cute and modern! I love the pink hues all around. There's a good amount of seating inside and outside too. The ordering process is easy, you just order on the kiosk, and they'll announce your order over the automated speaker. We got the snowy jasmine, matcha white champaca salted cheese, and jasmine matcha. The champaca one was truly my favorite. I loved the salted cheese flavor at the bottom paired with the matcha at the top. The other two were really good and flavorful too, without being too sweet. The employees were nice and offered bags for the drinks, and open the door for you as you walk out! They have a small parking lot so be prepared to find street parking, and they have one bathroom at the back of the store, which is clean. All in all, I definitely want to come back here!! read more

Came by for some drinks and I got the Peach Osmanthus Milk Tea which was pretty tasty 8/10. Once we parked on the side street, which wasn't that hard to find this time we walked in and ordered our self on the tablets. Also, note! They only have the drinks that are available at that time on the tablet so if it's not there then it's probably not available. BELIEVE THE HYPE. You can order online for pick up later, but we had something cancel on us since it was out of stock (didn't know until we got there and it said our drinks were ready, but one was cancelled, so we just had to order again from the kiosk and wait for quite awhile). Because the hype is real and since it's a pretty decent tea place, this place is FISTED, do not even try to park in their plaza since it is tiny and there are pedestrians and NPC's waiting around that will likely just walk into your car. The neighborhoods surroundings are quite packed too, so you might have to circle around a couple of times. The aesthetic is on point with what's trendy now. There's a photo op outside, the designs of the cups and bags are aesthetically pleasing and they do sell their own line of merch like keychains, etc. I feel like many Chinese tea franchises are doing this now but they have those small, trio fused straws that help you savor the flavor of tea better, which is a nice touch and definitely slows me down from inhaling the entire thing. I got to try both their Peach Tieguanyin Oolong Milk Tea with less ice and 70% sugar and their Gardenia Milk tea with the same specs. Nice flavor, very creamy and smooth drink. It's not overly strong but not weak either, perfect in between and the level of sweetness was ideal as well. Love how floral the gardenia tea tasted without tasting like soap and the peach was very subtle as well. For me, I'd tier Molly Tea around give or take the same level as Chagee with their flavor profile. I'd come again! read more

My friends and I passed by this Molly Tea, and I've been hearing about them ever since they opened up. Naturally, we took a stop here as I was curious to see what all the hype was about. Parking is very small and hectic, but we were able to find a spot. That was during non-peak hours (Sunday at around 1:20pm), so I cannot imagine how it is when it is peak hours. The interior is quite pretty and clean. While there was no line out the door as I've seen before, it was still pretty crowded inside to the point I was bumping into other people. Anyways, I ordered on their kiosk and got the Snowy Jasmine which is one of the must-tries. I got it at their suggested levels (70% sweetness, less ice). I waited 15 minutes for my order. For $8, the drink was absolutely not worth it. I've heard everyone rave about how fragrant their jasmine tea is, and... it barely was. I even let my friend try it, and she said it was just okay. On my first sip, it already tasted a bit watery, and by the time I got home, it just tasted like water with a hint of jasmine. My drink also came with whipped cream topped with candied pecans, and while I did enjoy the pecans, does it justify paying $8? No way. Would I come here again? No thanks. I don't usually go to places like Molly tea as I don't drink much sweetened teas but decided to order a drink Got the matcha jasmine tea cold with 30%sweetness. They give you their drinks with these 3 small hole straws that I thought was gimmick but it ended up really making a difference in the experience the small holes limits the volume of the drink and it creates a notable difference in how the flavors hit your tongue. I'm in between a 3&4 star. Good jasmine tea, but the amount of plastic used for a drink blows my mind. I'm no angel, but I ordered a tea and added matcha foam and then gave it to me separately and it's sealed, in a cup, with a sealed spoon, it was 4 extra pieces when you could have just poured the foam on top. Every drink comes with 2 caps, sealed Plastic and then a plastic cover. Is this excessive? read more

Finally got around to reviewing Molly Tea, tried it on numerous occasions during their grand opening range along with visits way after their grand opening. Busy at most hours of the day, always a bit of a wait every time, 10 minutes minimum. Molly Tea is pretty big for a boba shop, with moderate amounts of tables and slide benches for customers. Some outdoor tables as well fitted with a very small & cramped parking lot. All visits I've had, street parking here is best since it's free. Two kiosks is now available for customers to order which is great to speed up the process. Cashier ordering is also available when it's not busy. The inside TV is very helpful to see the status of your order but obviously, can be very clustered since the shop is always busy. One thing I can appreciate about Molly Tea is that their drinks are very well made. Quality is definitely sky high here which is a must because their drinks are definitely on the more expensive side of a boba store. They have very well matcha as all their matcha drinks have a smooth, rice, herb taste to it. Combined with the milk tea, it's a perfect combination. Definitely a more "healthier" option when it comes to their drinks. My wife and I both love their matcha, especially the white champaca Matcha Milk Tea. My wife decided for the Peach Tieguanyin Oolong Milk Tea this time around. Both drinks were light and refreshing, not too long of a wait despite how insanely packed this shop is. Overall, a high quality boba shop with clean & modern design, definitely very attractive when it comes to interior decorations and outdoor area. Drinks are high quality but comes with a higher price. Located off W Valley Bl. In San Gabriel. Parking in front and back but very small limited spots. Street Parking also available but look out for signs. The place has a few tables and seating but it get so packed you would have to most likely wait or grab as fast as you can if you have a few people in your party. They have kiosk tablets to order you can mobile order as well. The downside for me is you can substitute the milk for oat milk in all their matchas. The only had a few drinks where you can get oat milk so that's is a big downside for me. I ended up getting the premium Jasmine milk tea with oat milk it was ok but was looking to try the matcha no strawberry matcha here another downer. Overall it's a good place if you are more of a milk tea drinker and the matcha selection is very minimal in my opinion. read more

Molly Tea is easily one of my favorite tea shops. The interior is huge and I love the pink aesthetic. The staff is always friendly and I've tried almost everything on the menu at this point. My favorite drinks are the jasmine milk tea, peach oolong, and pistachio jasmine coconut. The jasmine milk tea has a really nice floral aroma and I love that you can still taste the tea instead of just milk. I'm usually not a fan of peach drinks because they tend to have an artificial aftertaste but their peach oolong tastes super clean with a natural peach flavor. The pistachio jasmine coconut is also amazing. It's refreshing, well balanced, and none of the flavors overpower each other. I'm also a big fan of their pink packaging, and if you order more than two drinks, they give you an insulated bag. There's always a wait but their online ordering system makes pickup super easy. The only annoying thing is the parking since it can be pretty limited. Overall, it's one of my favorite tea spots and a place I keep coming back to. Definitely worth the wait and the hype! read more
