Molly Tea is a favorite amongst boba drinkers, and this location is no different. The parking lot is a tad small, and the orders come in and out even on weekday afternoons when one might expect a calmer time. Ordering is pretty straightforward on their self-service kiosks. On this particular visit, I had their White Champaca Oolong Milk Tea with less ice and 30% sugar. Somehow, they always get it just right in terms of sweetness. The best part is the "three stack straw" which really brings out the taste of the tea. Drinks were being made and served to order minute by minute, and the overall wait time was ~ 15 minutes. While the seating here is comfortable and can be relaxing, make sure to plan ahead, as the sun can be quite the nuisance at the right angles!
Came by to try after lunch on Mother's Day, probably around 4PM. The place was SUPER busy when we went, but the service was still really fast and organized, we got our drinks within 10 minutes. The interior is modern and really cute, and they even have a dog check-in photo wall which was so so cute ! We got the snowy Jasmine with boba. Drinks themselves were light, fragrant, and refreshing. Even at 100% sweetness, they actually weren't too sweet, I would even argue getting 125% to match other boba places 100% sweetness. The boba had a really good flavor and sweetness to it that balanced everything out perfectly. Overall a great spot to grab a drink. Next time I want to try their Pistachio Matcha Coconut water so I will be coming back!
Seems like I finally found a drink I like here! Fourth time's the charm, I guess. During my first visit, Halloween 2024, I tried the iced white champaca oolong milk tea, probably no sugar added. I didn't like the after taste, it was kind of weird. I can take bitter tea flavor but didn't care for this. I gave it another try a few months later and got the same drink. Same reaction. I went to the San Mateo location in Jan 2026 and tried the iced jasmine tea with matcha cheese top, no sugar added. It was better but I still wasn't impressed. They definitely have quality tea but I didn't get the hype around this brand. Fast forward to April 2026, a work friend needed sugar so I went along for the ride and to get a hot drink. I ordered the DanCong Oolong milk tea, hot with 30% sugar. SOO GOOD! I will go back for this. I do prefer oolong teas. I thought I would like white Champaca since it's oolong plus jasmine, but here we are. My friend's favorite is the iced DanCong and he got the snowy version with jasmine whipped cream and pecan topping, 70% sweet. Tasted great! Parking lot actually had spots but it was a Monday afternoon. Can't wait for the new Rivermark location to open in Santa Clara! I walked past there today and looks like they might open in another month or so.
Ah the famous Molly Tea! Quite a few locations have popped up; I hope they open one in the Tri-Valley soon. They close at 10:00pm everyday which feels so late to me LOL. Yay for late night boba! There is quite a lot of people working behind the counter, but it seems like a well-oiled system. The music, the staff, the lighting, the figurines all remind me of playing Animal Crossing for some reason LOL. I love the sleek wood accents inside, and there are 2 screens to order from. There's another larger screen that displays all order #s that are in progress or ready. Parking is very limited; I was lucky to snag a spot since I came around 8:00pm, but I don't know the area well enough to know where else I would've parked if it was full?? I heard people have parked in the plaza across the street. There is no WiFi (that I know of) and my phone was running on slow LTE, might be just me. Premium Jasmine Milk Tea ($7.99): Well. This tasted like proper jasmine milk tea, I don't know how else to describe it. I bow down. Still good even as the ice melted! The cup is sealed beneath the to-go lid, so the extra safety is excellent for the car and preventing spillage. Next time I'll order online for a faster wait time and try more drinks to pop into the fridge :)
Good golly miss molly. Your teas are amazing, girl! I've heard about Molly Tea from my friends in SoCal who rave about this Chinese spot to hit the States. I was surprised to find out it's based in Shenzhen and not in Taiwan, but their teas speak for themselves. They pride themselves on their jasmine tea offerings and there is a lot to love. The moment you walk in, you are just hit with its aromatic scents which can make it hard to decide on your order. I went with one of their oat milk options (shout out to my non-dairy friends), the White Champaca Oat Milk Tea, with reduced ice and sugar. I was in love with this drink upon first sip. The floral tastes of the tea was so strong and really stood out compared to other boba shops. Additionally, they use crystal boba which provides a lighter experience rather than normal starchy tapioca (not that I have any issue with that because they are still my obsession). Overall, a must have tea experience. It's one of the best in the area and definitely adds to the competition within Cupertino. Note: the pink bags are only available through online orders. I didn't need one myself but if you really want one, make sure to order in advance.
The quality of the tea is phenomenal. Particularly enjoy the premium jasmine and champaca teas...so fragrant and vibrant. The tea combo with matcha and salted cheese made the drink just simply delectable! Molly tea is busy but the line moves pretty quickly. the ordering and pick-up process is pretty efficient. Good ambience and great place to sit, chat and enjoy your drinks if you can snag a table/seats.
Molly Tea is a popular milk tea chain that was established in Shenzhen, China back in 2020. The Sunnyvale location is situated in a tiny strip mall at the corner of El Camino Real and S Fair Oaks Ave in Sunnyvale. I came here with my brother and our friend Darren M. on 08/28/2025 after having dinner nearby. Parking was an absolute pain. It took us a while before a spot open up. We walked in at around 8:15pm and it was BUSY! All the tables were occupied, and there was a line of people waiting to order. The interior was bright, clean, and beautifully decorated. The staff behind the counter were all busy doing their jobs. I spotted at least 20 pink takeout bags on the counter. Ordering was done via a kiosk. There were a lot of uniquely crafted drinks to choose from. I ended up getting a Jasmine Mango Smoothie. With tax, it was $7.55. Due to the volume of business they were doing, it took a while before my order was ready. The wait was well worth it. My drink was made with jasmine green tea, fresh mango, coconut milk, pomelo, and sago. It was simply the best [expletive] drink I have ever had at any milk tea shop. It was creamy and had the perfect sweetness level. The flavor and textural balance were just extraordinary. Darren was thoroughly impressed by his Iced Jasmine Milk Tea. "Wow" was the first word that came out of his mouth. "Damn it's good" followed. My brother ate so much during dinner that he skipped out on getting one. He totally missed out. When we left at around 9:20, the line was even longer than when we walked in. Crazy. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try if you haven't done so already. You can thank me later.
I have a newfound love for Molly Tea. As an azn, I can't handle anything too sweet and Molly Tea seems to know that so most of their collection is catered to my sweetness level. Mine is the champaca oolong. My cousin got the Camellia Zest. Both were great!! It's too bad there are no locations eastward, beyond the Bay Area or I'd be going pretty regularly. I guess its popularity is why it's always so packed when we go. The line moves fairly quick enough in spite of having 2 ordering kiosks. Staff work quick and have an organized way of keeping track of the orders. HOWEVER, it did take a little more than 10 minutes before my one drink was ready for pick up. We had to wait a while the last time we were there too. Maybe it's the way certain drinks are prepared? Or I think there was a big order before us Either way it's worth it. And I love the cute little special straw they provide to enjoy the tea. Think of those really skinny coffee straws that have just another (3rd) narrow tube. You can slowly enjoy the delicate flavors of the tea. Lastly, it seems Molly Tea is also expanding its merch collection. When I was there, I did not see those assorted magnets. You can collect them! They have cute designs specifically for your zodiac sign or Myers Briggs , or just famous cities. I kinda prefer magnets over pins. The magnet could be "pinned" onto whatever you want anyway.
I've had Molly Tea a couple times now and they're a solid and consistent option for floral teas. The drinks all have solid fragrant flavors. The parking lot for this location is quite small, so the most convenient option is to drop someone off to wait in line while the other person finds parking in the nearby neighborhood if the lot is full. Their menu consists of many tea options with the Jasmine Milk Tea being one of their most popular. I also really liked the Pistachio Jasmine Coco! All of their drinks sound pretty good, so I will be coming back to try out the rest of their drinks!
Good drink choices. Wished they're more transparent in their promotions though. Parking is very limited as it's a corner lot being shared with other stores. My fav is the osmanthous choices they have. And I like that they sealed their cups so I can order lots more without worry about spillage
HOLY COW! They weren't joking when they called their tea premium. You can taste how good it is from the first sip. Both our drinks stood out for their floral tea taste. We decided to skip the jasmine so that we could try something novel. We got the matcha champaca salted cheese (less ice, 70% sugar) and the tongmu lapsang bubble tea (less ice, 50% sugar). Both were fresh, perfectly sweetened as per our preferences, and crazy good. The hazelnut cheese and the chewy boba in the tongmu lapsang bubble tea were a delightful addition. The premium tea does come at premium price, over $8 per regular sized drink. Ambiance is nice but their tea making can get pretty loud every now and then. Also no wifi!
Got the Pistachio White Champaca Coco $7.99 It was so good! The standard sweetness of 70% sweet was just right. (I normally order 30-50% at other boba shops) My husband got his jasmine tea drink at 50% but then asked if they could up to 70% after trying it and finding it wasn't sweet enough. We thought they would just add more syrup or sweetness to it, but they made a brand new drink instead. Quality top notch! Tea flavor is super strong which I looooove. Now can they open one in east bay please so I can avoid driving 1hr+ each way just to drink Molly tea? :) read more

So excited that this spot opened up and made the drive down. The Premium Jasmine tea is amazing! It has a strong floral tea flavor but be warned that oat milk alters the taste a lot... I would recommend just loading up on lactaid and going with regular milk for the best taste. High recommend and it's become my new favorite drink. The White Champaca is our other go-to (it has more of a vanilla, floral taste). We get either 50% or 75% (recommended). Service is pretty quick even when the line is long which is impressive! Unlike most boba spots, there are a few tables that you can relax at which is a nice change! Parking is terrible as there is only a tiny lot. The last three times I've gone, we've been lucky and found a spot though. read more
I've been to a million boba shops in my life. Molly tea offers some new floral milk teas that have never been offered in the states before. I normally hate floral teas as they taste medicinal to me but they somehow make the tea taste exactly how the flowers smell! I have only tried their gardenia milk tea and jasmine milk tea. Both had a deep flavor of gardenia/jasmine and tasted incredibly creamy without feeling heavy. Im only knocking a star off for the small cup sizes with no option to size up. Their drinks are also quite expensive for the amount compared to other stores. I would treat Molly tea as a special treat rather than a casual treat. read more
Pretty and clean interior. Tried their top seller the jasmine milk tea and you could really taste the quality of the jasmine tea but overall it was alright-- definitely not worth waiting over 25 minutes for. The line to order at the kiosk was pretty short but the overall wait time for the drinks was so long because they're also making online orders. Staff could use better customer service training as well. Parking lot is also pretty small, so cross your fingers that you're lucky with parking! read more

Immediately yes! Their premium jasmine milk tea is SO addicting, especially the snowy jasmine (jasmine milk tea w the whip cream and pecans). When i went it wasn't crazy busy so i didn't have to wait too long for the kiosk, since it is self service the wait to order differs. But since the drinks traffic is high, the wait for the drinks was quite long but it's well worth the wait. There is seating, but since it's generally busy it may be hard to find a seat. the ambiance is nice and fancy for milk tea shop. the davis dupe is not it. read more
Updated review: It is still booming here! Parking - would suggest finding parking elsewhere and walking over. Very small lot. They now have someone watching the lot. And I can definitely understand why Molly Tea has hired someone to watch! Today, I witness someone who decided to park their car in the middle of the lot (front of the store when there were others trying to get in and out) and went inside..... the parking watch man had to go into Molly Tea and asked her to move her car since people were stuck! So beware and be safe if you're courageous enough to go into the lot. Drinks - Personally, the past few times I've gone here, I have felt the quality degrade a little. I'm sure it's due to the fact that they're busy and are always crunching drinks out! Picking up online order - Madhouse! I hope they work on finding a way to create online pickup more seamlessly. read more

Finally got to try Molly Tea after hearing about it from friends. Everyone recommended the Premium Jasmine Milk Tea, and it was amazing! I usually get my drinks with 50-75% sweet but my friend told me the drinks are on the lightly sweet side to begin with, so I went with 100% sweet and it was the right choice for me. I absolutely love floral teas and Molly Tea does an amazing job balancing the floral jasmine flavor with the right amount of milky creaminess. I also got the Snowy Jasmine and it's basically the same thing as the Premium Jasmine Milk Tea with the addition of "jasmine cream frappe" on top - which is like a jasmine flavored whipped cream. This drink came with a little spoon that can be used to mix the cream into the drink or just scoop out and eat whatever cream is remaining. The drinks come with a special straw that has three tiny holes. I believe its purpose is to slow down your drinking rate and help you savor/enjoy the drink more. I actually really liked this concept and felt like the straw made a difference in my appreciation of the drink. Despite how busy they are, with lines almost out the door and every single seat/table occupied, the staff work incredibly quickly and efficiently. It took us longer to find parking than it did for our drinks to be ready. There is also the option to order online in advance. The interior is very cute--very pink and aesthetic. As many others have mentioned, parking for this location is a nightmare. The parking lot is tiny and constantly congested. Many of the spots are reserved for other stores in the same plaza as Molly Tea. You can't park at nearby plazas either because they all have signs stating "No parking for Molly Tea." We ended up parking in a residential area and walking about 2 blocks. Plan to either get dropped off (and advise your driver to NOT enter the parking lot at all because they will probably get stuck and spend 10 minutes trying to get out), or just plan to park farther and walk. read more
If you're looking for high quality tea this is the place for you. The jasmine matcha is definitely a 10/10--the perfect balance of matcha and jasmine milk tea. Interior is modern and has many places to sit, however it is usually pretty busy. I do hope that one day they can add tea to the menu because I don't really enjoy milk tea as much. But worth the hype and trouble finding parking! read more
Finally tried the infamous Molly tea. When it first opened it was always packed. No parking, people would park across the street and lines out the door. For once it was chill, parking available and we got in and out less than 15mins. I'm not a huge fan of floral teas, so a lot didn't appeal to me or my partner. But we wanted to try it anyways. I got the pistachio white chapaca with coconut water. I love the bits of pistachio from the cream too, the drink wasn't too floral, the coconut was refreshing. My partner got the matcha white champaca, the matcha is good but not strong, and not too floral. We both gave our drinks a solid 7.5. If you're a floral tea fan, I believe this would be a better place for you and drinks you'll enjoy! read more
Molly Tea has to be one of my favorite milk tea spots ever. The interior is super warm and cute, and their drinks are always so creamy and refreshing. My favorite drinks are the snowy jasmine and the Pistachio Coconut Jasmine. I recommend ordering online if you want to pickup quickly or not wait in line. The only downside is the tiny parking lot--people usually end up walking over from nearby plazas, and during my last visit a cop was going around the parking lot not allowing people to wait in their cars without parking. read more
We were in a mood for bubble tea this afternoon. After a quick yelp search this place popped up highly rated. The pink cups totally caught my eye.. and all the amazing reviews. So we headed over and yes parking is a bit tricky!!! There's a small parking lot and it's a miracle if you get a spot. I see many people waiting in their cars like hawks to grab an opening. Somehow the stars aligned and we got a spot. You walk in, there's a kiosk and you order. As someone who LOVES jasmine milk tea this is the IT place to go. The whole time I was waiting for my order I was thinking, is it really worth the wait and hype???? After taking one sip, I can attest yes it is. It is amazing, delicious, unique, floral, all wrapped up in a pretty pink bow. So if you are craving bubble tea or on a hunt for an bubble tea place, this is the place to go. read more

First time trying Molly Tea. Parking lot is small and it was very busy inside. It is definitely worth it. The drinks are very refreshing, not too sweet, it was just right. You taste more tea and other sugary flavors. The cups and straws that make the drink is very good quality. They also give you a nice pink bag to carry all your drinks, which is a good touch. Service was good. They have a separate pick up line and it was easy to go and get my order. Inside was busy when I went, so I didn't get a good luck inside the place. I ordered the White Champaca Milk Tea and it was delicious. Overall I give this tea shop a solid 4/5 star review. Will definitely be back. Quick tip, order ahead, and bring a friend so your friend can pick up the drinks while you stay in the car. The parking lot is super tiny. read more

Molly Tea needs little introduction - just be warned of the ridiculously long lines and ridiculously small parking lot that go until closing. They do shut the line down at exactly 10 PM from inside the store and kick everyone out at 10:15. The interior is very boutique and features tea-making items on the walls, with ample seating at both small and long tables. Their jasmine milk tea ranks in the top 3 I've tried for its deliciously floral profile and perfect proportion of milk. I got their premium jasmine matcha at 70% sweet (~$7) and, for no reason in particular, got the matcha cheese on the side. It came out in around 15 minutes with their signature straw and a little spoon for the cheese. The straw is like three coffee stirrers glued together and is a great way to ensure you don't inhale your drink in 10 minutes like I usually do. I was surprised by how good the matcha cheese foam was - super creamy (juuust drinkable with a straw, but I ate it with a spoon anyways :P) and tasted strongly of solid matcha. Worth the wait and will probably return. read more
Molly Tea is nice, trendy tea shop with fragrant tea options! The shop is really busy, and the parking is honestly really limited. We waited about 30 mins for our 2 drinks. We ordered the Snowy Jasmine & Premium Jasmine Matcha. Both offered a yummy fragrant jasmine milk tea. The snow jasmine has a whipped cream cap topped with pecans while the premium jasmine matcha was topped with a matcha foam. Both were delicious drinks, but I feel I have had better jasmine milk teas. Considering the wait of 30 mins, I'm not sure if I would be willing to wait that long again for 2 drinks. No fault to the staff though! It was obviously very hectic, and they had all hands on deck (they had lots of staff working as well). read more
Tried their Premium Jasmine Matcha Milk Tea 抹茶针王 ($7.99) & Gardenia Oolong Milk Tea 栀子金萱 ($7.79) ~ got both with less ice & 0% sugar / sweetness level. First impression was that both my drinks tasted more on the milky-watery side, with both the tea & floral notes slightly noticeable but pretty light. Even the sample I tried of their Osmanthus Milk Tea tasted light. I did feel the drinks had a more fragrant scent versus taste, as the creamy milk overpowered the taste. On the other hand, glad the floral taste wasn't artificial tasting. I appreciate their unique offerings, and may be back to try more drinks, or maybe some merch. Parking lot is small, but there are people coming & going. I ordered online for pickup via DoorDash - was ready fairly quickly in 7 min on a Saturday evening around 5:30pm. Store looked pretty busy with people outside trying their samples, people inside lining up to order, counter for online orders full of bagged drinks (in their signature pink bags) ready for pickup, and many sitting-in to enjoy their drinks. read more
SOOO GOOOD. this is my new favorite tea spot. note: this is NOT BOBA. They have limited topping options. It's more for the authentic tea flavor. They have unique straws which I think they use in China. It's like 3 coffee stirrers glued together. I got the snowy jasmine and it was amazing. Perfect floral notes. The jasmine tea was delicioussss!! Loved the strong tea and creaminess of it ! The only downside is the long lines and the lack of parking. Cant wait to come back to try their mango seasonal drink. Still a regular all these months later. My new favorite is the Sbowy Jasmine as the whipped cream is to die for. Loved the pecans too. The mango jasmine is also really good and so is the pistachio coco. We love a menu where everything is literally so good. Follow the Instagram account for giveaways, and get the bags if you can! They are so cute and provide a lot of insulation. read more

I got the Premium Jasmine Matcha Milk Tea and honestly I should've opted for the Jasmine tea itself because the combination wasn't my cup of tea. I've tried the premium jasmine before--very floral and sweetness was just right. Service was pretty quick for a busy afternoon. Get to finally try this place. I recommend ordering online as parking is a pain in the butt. We got lucky to get one, but the lot is so congested and small that it's not worth parking there worrying about getting hit. It's so cute inside, though. My friends say the milk teas are fragrant, which i agree but it tastes like actual tea. I loved the premium jasmine oat milk and my boyfriend's osmanthus. I would definitely come back. I've passed by this Molly Tea location a couple of months before and saw a long line wrapping around this small plaza, which deterred me from trying it before. More recently, there was only a short line at the self service kiosk, so I think it's a good time to try this place out now! Between their various matchas and teas, I ended up trying this Gardenia Oat Milk Tea while my friend tried their classic Premium Jasmine Milk Tea. This place is spacious, with most of the seats and tables being filled up on a holiday Thursday afternoon. We waited only around 10 minutes for our order, and our drinks came in good quality cups and cute straws! While I prefer the Jasmine tea a bit more, the Gardenia tea does have a delicious floral quality that I feel is suitable for most peoples' tastes. The only place I've tried that does Jasmine milk tea with matcha right! * Premium Jasmine Matcha 100% sweetness: This is so good! It's their jasmine green tea, matcha cheese with fresh milk. You can choose to have the matcha on the side or in your drink. I love how you can really taste the good quality jasmine tea and when you mix the matcha in the drink it doesn't overpower it. They both blend together very well! 100% sweetness is perfect to me for this drink. Parking here still sucks and I wish it was at a bigger plaza. read more
