Friendly staff. Great selection of food and drinks. Beautiful views. Their smoothies are delicious as well!

Great scenery of the mountains, local music playing, very cute little fruit shack. The server Jody and brandy were very nice and super fast with our food. Jody recommended some best sellers which was the turkey panini and the sugar cane drink which was amazing. They are very polite and quick to make the delicious food. Their menu has so much to choose from and I it was hard to pick just one thing. Their banana delight is to die for along with the panini sandwich. The burrito was different from what I was expecting but it was pretty good. If you come here I recommend the panini sandwich, the banana delight and the sugar cane drink. Perfect for a day after a long hike or swim at the beach. It is very hard to miss it is on the side of the road with lots of scenery facing the mountains. The only flaw I could think of is that the bread for the turkey panini was a little on the hard side when toasted but it is understandable considering how busy they are! *update had their panini sandwich again and it was to die for I think the bread was only hard that time because there was a long line of customers!*

Awesome spot. Next to the highway and great view of the mountains while you relax. Fresh fruit and the honey they use is so tasty. Everything we ate there was filling and had us feeling good.

A little expensive but tasty. We got a date smoothie and it was fantastic! They also have sugar cane

Griddled pancakes and small pineapple guava juice.

Wont be coming back. Pros: * average food *pretty view of mountains from seating Cons: *overpriced ~10$ for undercooked pancakes (2 single plain pancakes I don't know how it could get more boring) *I waited nearly 30 minutes for a small juice and the pancakes and watched as they served over 10 people who'd ordered AFTER me!!! (Even those people had waited a while). I'm sorry, but just no. you serve your customers in order of how they came. *the small juice is literally tiny. I'd encourage you get better views and value food from other more deserving juice bars.

    Açaí bowl with almond butter

This place had THE BEST açaí bowl we had on the island. It's a small little place, nothing fancy. When we went there was only one woman running the place so if you go, please be patient. We pretty much ate an açaí bowl every day for a week and we both agreed this one has the best flavor, toppings, and environment. It felt very low key and local.

This place is great - fresh juices and smoothies made with high quality ingredients. Açaí bowl is one of if not the best on the island with a wide variety of toppings - we went with Mac nut, bee pollen, and hemp seed. Great seating area too, surrounded by fruit trees with a gorgeous mountain back drop. Heads up - it can be quite a wait for your order (we waited 40 min for 1 juice and 1 açaí bowl), but not deducting a star for that because we're on island time here

I got 9 (NINE) mosquito bites waiting in line here

Ugh I sooooo regret coming here! Even though they had a sign requiring masks they didn't enforce it and they didn't enforce social distancing so people were standing right next to us not wearing masks. Also the worker making our food didn't wear gloves and just reached everything (including the cash register) bare handed. She did wear a mask at least but after taking sips of our smoothies and having them not taste that great (very bland and sad) we decided better be safe than sorry and just threw them away. They don't use fresh fruit here (at least they didn't in our smoothies we ordered) which was so disappointing getting frozen fruit (we watched her use her bare hand to just scoop it out of a freezer bag). We thought we'd get fresh fruit coming to a fruit stand and were very disappointed to get freezer fruit when there is so much lovely fruit in Hawaii. Also I got eaten alive by mosquitos here. In the short time we were here I got 9 (NINE!) Mosquito bites. My daughter got 11!! That put an unpleasant damper on my entire trip. Overall this was the worst place we have been on our Kauai vacation and I so regret coming here! I wish I had a time machine to go back in time to not come here.

    Yummy açaí bowl

Absolutely loved this place Came here for morning breakfast and they have great vegetarian options. The panini with pesto was yummy, loved onion in it. The açaí bowl was even better. Asked for Mac but topping, best açaí bowl I have had on the island. And ordered cafe latte not expecting much, but this has to be the best coffee I had in Kauai! So great. Love the ambience too! They have sone amazing fruit trees around. Great seating and views, don't miss this place.

We always make a stop here (or three) while visiting. Excellent and fresh smoothies, DELICIOUS banana bread. Typically there is a line and they run lean on staff so be prepared to wait 10 minutes for your order. Worth it! Sit under the palm trees and soak up some sun.

Perfect roadside stop!!! Highly recommend. Smoothies, sandwiches, paninis, breakfast items. Produce you can buy and take!

Does this look like an acai bowl?
    Janice C.

So ... I have expectations. That need to be met. They aren't high, but if I'm paying $10 for an acai bowl, it shouldn't look like a smoothie that's lazily put together. Or maybe they were short handed that day and hired a girl fresh out of high school and it was her first day at work?! :(

We came to this location twice to get our morning food and coffee before exploring the island. I HIGHLY recommend online ordering!! The first time was a long wait out the door, ordering with staff at the counter was friendly and quick. You will get your hockey puck pager and return to pickup when paged. The second time we did online ordering, we almost did not return because of the crowd, but online ordering was easy and pickup was SOO much nicer. They are crowded because the food, coffee and staff are soo good. It is located on the main road with limited parking, there are inside and outside seating, but it is crowded. Bathrooms can get a little overwhelming, but they were clean and maintained in this older building. DO COME, but ORDER ONLINE.

No xbloom pour-overs being served, so I settled for pre-made drip. The barista was friendly enough but couldn't tell me anything about the coffees on her own menu -- origin, roast, process, nothing. She recommended a mac nut latte for my partner, which felt less like a recommendation and more like the only thing she was sure of. The drip came out fast and hot. That's the last nice thing I have to say. The latte comes from a second window, where a different employee was actively hostile. Busy morning, so I asked if the drink was mine. She snapped that my name was written on the cup. It was -- facing her. I was apparently supposed to read it through the cup. Here's the real problem: someone clearly put thought into the roasting side of this business, and then handed the entire customer-facing operation to people who received no training whatsoever. Not in the coffee, not in basic hospitality. You can teach someone to smile. You can teach them to answer a question without contempt. Nobody bothered. Average coffee, worse service, priced for people who won't be back anyway -- and given the volume of visitors, that model probably works fine for them. It won't work for me. Kauai has cafés run by people who are genuinely obsessed with what they're doing. Go find one of those. Serious coffee drinkers should walk right past this place.

I can't remember exactly which poke varieties we got, but I believe one was their shoyu poke and the other was a spicy ahi. Regardless, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. This is exactly the kind of mom-and-pop spot I love finding while traveling. No frills, just friendly people serving great food at reasonable prices. The poke was fresh, the karaage was flavorful, and the lau lau was tender and comforting. The staff was welcoming, the portions were generous, and the prices were fair, especially considering the quality of the food. There are plenty of places to eat on Kauai, but spots like this are what make a trip memorable. We'll definitely be back the next time we're on the island.
