    Momo Pasa Special

First time ordering from Momo Pasa- I wanted to try something authentic so I got the Mo Mo Pasa special and I paid a little extra for paneer filling. All I can say is wow. It took a while to get to me bc it was Uber Eats but even lukewarm this food was spectacular. If you like spicy- order this. Loved the flavor combo and the texture was melt in your mouth. The chili heat hits you first but the herbiness of the cilantro and the mellow paneer all offset each other. Highly recommend. Can't wait to go to the restaurant in person and try more items!

Fantastic new restaurant in Louisville! Very pleasant inside, staff was fantastic. Food was amazing! The restaurant is very cute and small, but still has plenty of space to sit. The food came out quickly and was great. Can't wait to go back and try everything.

My girlfriend and I went to grab dinner late after the movies (9:20pm, they close at 10:00pm.) When we walked in the lady at the register greeted us very nicely (despite us coming in close to closing) and could see we were struggling to find something and she suggested a few things to help us out. We ended up going with the Steamed MoMo, Buttery MoMo and Chicken Chow mein. Everything was delicious and savory. The steamed MoMo were well cooked and the flavor was good no dip needed. The Buttery MoMo was even better, it had a nice almost creamy sauce and was evenly coated on the entire thing. The Chow mein could've used a bit more salt for my liking but nonetheless it was good. Service was great and food was even better. Thank yall for the experience!

    Mo Mos

Came for a birthday lunch celebration with a couple of great friends today. This restaurant has wonderful Nepali food! We shared fried rice, samosas, and one of the Mo Mo dishes - loved all. The restaurant has a wall mural wallpaper designed by the owner's spouse and the tables have colorful pictures and notes handwritten by customers - such nice touches. The owner is lovely and gracious too! We look forward to coming back again soon! Thank you!

    Tikka masala wings

Never had momo before, but glad this was the place we got to try it first! Service was super kind and patient in explaining all food items, the best ones people go for, and recommendations. We had the butter momo and tikka masala wings. Both super saucy and flavorful! Will come again to try all other menu items, highly recommend! Very homey and modern cosy feel to the place as well.

Haven't read the other negative reviews I can confidently say that it has to do with delivery times(dumpling at delivery is a bad idea) or they're just misunderstanding what they're ordering. The meal here was extremely well seasoned with traditional spices and long cook times to get the most flavor out. This is true from the chicken vindaloo to the chicken korma to the Tali plate all the way to the biryani. All of it was awesome and we will be back with the family.

Tikka and Korma looked identical and orange colored, sauce wise- which should not be. The tikka was also oddly sweet, edible but not great. Veggie curry was sooooooo salty it was inedible- literally felt like someone accidentally dropped an open container of salt in the pot- weird! Naans were very flat and greasy. Pakoras were ok. Again, weird! The batter was hard, grainy and dark seemed a lot like cornmeal....... I really was hoping for something comparable to Everest since it unexpectedly closed, but we will keep looking.

We ordered a variety of dishes including dahi poori, vegetable pakora, paneer chili, gobi Manchurian, veg chili momo, paneer tikka masala, malai kofta, chow mein, and a naan bread basket. The appetizers were better than the North Indian dishes. The paneer tikka masala and malai kofta were on the sweeter side despite us ordering them medium spicy. The kofta balls were also on the smaller side, and the paneer tikka masala had very few pieces of paneer. The chow mein was the star of the meal. It was flavorful and definitely my favorite dish. For the pakora, they only gave a small amount of green chutney, so we had to ask for more along with some tamarind chutney. There's parking behind the restaurant, which was convenient. If you're in the mood for chaat or North Indian food, I would probably choose a different restaurant.

This time I went a bit all out and ordered the butter chicken momo, creamy Sichuan momo, tandoori momo, steamed momo, and the Delhi masala momo. Honestly, this visit was way better. Last time the biggest issue was the sauce, it just wasn't enough and everything felt pretty dry, but this time they really fixed that and the sauces actually showed up, which made a huge difference. Everything tasted solid overall, though it really depends on what you like since the flavors are pretty different across the menu. The momo wrappers are on the thicker side, so if you're someone who prefers a thinner skin, just keep that in mind because that was the case with all the ones I tried. My favorite ended up being the tandoori momo, even though it was a bit salty, the flavor was really good. I usually don't go for butter chicken momo, but that one surprised me, it was actually a hit and everyone at the table liked it. The Delhi masala momo was vegetarian and still packed with flavor, and the creamy Sichuan momo was also pretty good. The place was pretty busy when we went, but the service was quick, so overall this time it felt like a much better experience.

I've never had nepal food before and i must say i can't believe i waited all this time to taste it. We ended up getting the Butter Chicken Momo and the Himalayan Kitchen Special Chow Mein (Beef) both for around 34 bucks. I know its a bit pricey for something that's fast and not at a full service restaurant, but i think it was worth it. The burst of flavor was intense on the momos... I really enjoyed the sweet and umami taste of the butter chicken sauce. one hack is to take a small bite of the momo and then fill the inside with sauce and then eat the whole momo. The chow mein was also really good and has a nice kick to it. This place is fairly close by my office and i'll be back.

It was delicious. You can order it with most normal protein's I ordered it with chicken and it was great. I also ordered their "bullet naan", naan bread with some kind of chili from my understanding.
