My wife and I were in the area for the weekend and tried this place out. It was great ! Definitely that wonderful mom and pop shop feel to it. Has a homey feel to it. The service was awesome, the ladies were super friendly and made us feel like family. The food is delicious! We were very satisfied with our meals! 10/10 would eat again.

If you're going to take me to a friendly down home restaurant for American fare, this place right here is the place to go. You can't tell by the size of this meal but it is probably the size of a football end to end. It was delicious and I actually had to take it home for leftovers. The inside of the business looks a little dated but honestly it feels exactly like you would at moms.

4th of July may not be the best day to come here for brunch. The place seemed a bit short staffed, but what else is new. I ordered the cinnamon roll French toast which was very rich with two slices cut from a cinnamon roll drizzled with caramel sauce, sliced banana, two slices of bacon, and sprinkles of pecans. Bookguy wolfed down the bacon, very crispy. This is kind of a desert for breakfast and I enjoyed it. Bookguy had the chicken fried steak, two over easy eggs, and hash browns all covered with white gravy. He thought it was great except his toast which was too dry for him. He asked for extra jelly, but it never came. Considering how busy they were that's not surprising. We will come back again.

Amazing!!! Home cooked meal right for your soul. Come here and you'll be pleased for a good cooked meal from the heart. It's the Midwest! What else could you expect?! We're the best! Come and support the local cafe with fresh coffee and yummy meals. I'm just a customer and I approve of this business. Homely and comfortable. No matter what you're going through, come here for true comfort. God bless!

Amazing place to eat! I was super hungry and stopped in to eat, but forgot my cash at home! SMH!!! ‍ So I ordered coffee, as that's all I could afford... the waitress came up to me and said to order whatever I would like and it's on the house. She must be an angel or something. This has been the best experience ever (though I was embarrassed). I thanked her over and over. Well deserved.

It's a simple diner/cafe. I got the burger and it was so juicy and flavorful. The fries were just ok. My husband got the Asian salmon salad, for a dinner salad it was small but very tasty. Next time I go I'll prob get one of their breakfast options. The table next to us got one of their scrambles and it looked great.

So I happened to run across this place while just roaming in the area on a halfway decent February day. Decided to stop in based off prior reviews and so glad I did! After a menu review I couldn't decide so asked my wonderful waitress her recommendation. I had mentioned I saw Chipped Beef on the menu and how so few restaurants I've been to have offer this. She mentioned an omelet wrapped around hashbrowns and smothered in Chipped Beef & Gravy. Sounded good to me! OMG....so good! Comfort food heaven and leftovers aplenty!

Husband kept talking about Moms so we came today. Shared a Philly cheesesteak breakfast casserole & sweet potato fries. Food was absolutely fantastic, exactly what I'd think of for this small town diner. I wish I was hungrier as I'd get pie because it looks amazing! But the portions were very generous and we couldn't stop picking. He drank coffee, said it tastes like normal diner coffee & I had the hot chocolate. I wasn't a huge fan of the hot chocolate but it was basic hot chocolate, nothing fancy. Staff was beyond friendly and service fantastic!

Simply could not get over the terrible smell of the place. Therefore, left before ordering food.

Chicken fried steak and eggs are awesome. Slow paced, nice people. The German skillet is very filling. Very old timey ambience.

We were lucky as we did get a good spot along the road to the restaurant. Tip: they allow parking along the roads alongside the restaurant. That said. The waitlist feature is great! We got in with maybe less than 10 minutes of waitng. Our servers were hustling around making sure everybody was happy Free flow of bread- nice and warm and soft. With cinnamon butter Peanuts in a little metal bucket - salted. We ordered dragonfruit sparkler. - delicious and refreshing (sweet) And i ordered salmon with vegetables and a sweet potato plain Salmon was just done right. Not overly dry- just cooked till done. The vegetables were broccoli and carrots. These were delicious. Usually in chain reataurants, these would already be much. Mine pretty much tested fresh- just out of water with the right texture- like home made! Despite being busy, our server cane by seveal times to check on us. At some point, a gentleman popped by to say how pleased that we were there and thanked us - possibly a manager We soaked up the music and the upbeat vibes. It was a good night! I finally understand why this outlet is always busy every time we pas it by. We will be back!

Our daughter had one of the pizzas, which she said was good. Our son had a burger, which was good. My wife had a chicken item with sweet potatoes fries, which she enjoyed. Our relatives had chili, soup, salad, and something else. All the food was good, but not exceptional. As for the beer, I had one of their Scary Numbers, which was a fairly flat stout, with little to revere. It was drinkable. My brother-in-law opted for the sampler with a mix of seasonal & "avant-garde" flavors. He drank it, and I sampled, but all five were very missable. This is a case where the food carried the beer, instead of the other way around. The food was good, but not great. I did enjoy my Jambalaya, and if we return, would stick to that. I would pass on their crafted beer, opting for another offering, which is kind of sad.
