This was another one of those TikTok thrifting shops and another short drive. Plenty of parking. On…read moreentering Salvage Angel I was not expecting the layout I saw. It was so cute, it looked like little section shops with each section having its own unique style. There was soooooo many items I honestly could have left with a lot more but I had to control myself. Great selection of vintage items and some unique pieces. The prices range but still reasonably priced. The young ladies at checkout were so sweet, they loved the custom tapestry Mickey jacket I made and said I should look into selling a few of my pieces. I really enjoyed this store and I can't wait to go back. There was nothing I didn't enjoy

Ooooh what fun, funky, weird and wonderful finds at this vintage co-op and consignment warehouse in…read morean awesome old brick mill. Vintage fashion, unique items of yesteryear, and new artisan crafts and practical gifts are meticulously displayed in attractive booths from different owners. Excellent reuse of a historic building. The entrance is #12, just past the overhang connecting this old mill to another terrific old brick mill (that hasn't had a renaissance just yet). You may wonder if this shop is still open, but it is just set back a bit. Worth seeking out!

Stopped into Hobby Lobby in Foxboro out of curiosity--probably shouldn't have. The store feels like…read morean odd blend of AC Moore and Michaels, with a confusing layout that randomly incorporates furniture, fabrics, and home décor. I expected something more in line with actual hobbies--like model kits, remote-controlled cars, or electronics--but instead found aisles of artificial flowers, seasonal decorations, and generic craft items. There's a vaguely Ocean State Job Lot or Christmas Tree Shops vibe in parts of the store, which makes it feel more like a discount décor warehouse than a true hobbyist destination. Not sure what I was hoping for, but overall, it's pretty dull and uninspiring. If you're into scrapbooking or wreath-making, maybe it's for you--but if you're looking for actual hobby supplies, you'll probably leave disappointed.

Went to buy fabric this weekend- Mother's Day weekend and a huge fabric sale going on. Walked…read morearound the fabric section for well over 30 minutes (enough time that anyone on a break would have returned) not a single employee in sight to cut fabric. Rang the bell multiple times- watched other employees walk by me peaking through isles. Someone else in line finally went up front to have someone paged. The woman was slooowwww and rude to multiple customers. I had a lot to get cut and tried to be nice but it took forever! I watched more than 1 customer literally put fabric back and walk away. Only when I was almost done did another employee (the same one I saw peaking at me) come up to help. Tell me why, when your only open 1 weekend day- and that day is before a holiday and you have a huge sale- You don't have an employee staying in the area? There was plenty of fabric to put away- it was piled high on the tables and floor all around- so it wasn't that the employee didn't have work to keep her busy in the fabric section.
