I have been a loyal customer at this salon for over three years, and unfortunately my most recent experience was very disappointing. I wear my nails short and specifically requested a curved shape. While the overall shape was acceptable, the nails were applied extremely thick almost clay-like in appearance and feel. It was noticeable immediately once I got home. I called the salon right away and returned less than 24 hours later to have them corrected. Instead of being met with understanding or professionalism, I was immediately told I would be charged to fix them. The attitude I received was dismissive and unkind. There was no compassion, no acknowledgment of my long-standing loyalty, and no effort to resolve the issue respectfully. Instead of Dan taking accountability that the nails were poorly done by him, he denied it with disrespect and hostility including the owner. As a paying customer of three years, I expected better service and at the very least a willingness to correct a clear quality issue without hostility. I left feeling belittled and undervalued. I truly hope the salon reflects on how loyal clients are treated when concerns arise. read more

If you don't want to talk, receive a smile and want to have a "go through the motions" pedicure, this is the place. Fair price but minus any hospitality and employees that seem to not care about their job or their customers. The lady who does speak English and checks you in seems warm and friendly, but it ends there. If you need a quick pedicure with no spa like feel, this is the place for you. read more

I stopped by today for a pedicure. The nails were painted beautiful but the service was fast and incomplete. My male nail tech didn't spend a lot of time cutting the skin around my toes and didn't clean underneath my nails which I didn't realize since I was exhausted from a long day at work. However, I shouldn't have to remind a nail tech how to do a proper pedi. I also asked for the classic pedi but he still did the pedi with the hot rocks and hot towel which costs $10 extra and was way too fast so that extra $10 is not worth it even though I didn't ask for it he still did it and charged me the higher price ‍ after a long day, the last thing you want to do is argue with someone about the service you asked for. It was the fastest pedicure I've ever gotten which is not what anyone wants because pedis are suppose to be an enjoyable/relaxing experience not just 20 mins of getting your nails painted and you're out. Before even beginning I asked the nail tech if it was a design she was comfortable doing, because if not I could just do a solid color no problem. She insisted she could, after 2 hours and having the boss the step in to help her because I wasn't liking how they were looking, this is what they came up with. Then I let her know I didn't like them and would just do a solid color, she quit, like literally packed her bags and quit her job. So then I'm sitting there with this disaster on my nails, a the other customers looking at me and all the techs mumbling until a male tech takes over to give me a solid color. No discount, no apologies, after 3 1/2 hours for gel nails to be redone over and over, my nails are so thin they ache now. All for full pop and 3 1/2 hours wasted. I like that I have never had anyone hurt my hands or nail bed there. Which is routine hazard for me at other salons. Everyone I have had do my pedicure or manicure has been gentle and did a nice job. I didnt catch her name. I was coming in after having a baby a month ago. I was so excited to have some me time. I was brought back right away. Opted for a pedicure that had the paraffin wax and callus remover included. I usually opt for the cheaper one. So this was a treat! My pedicure was amazing. I wish I would have felt my feet before I walked out. My left foot is so rough! This is one of the roughest I've had my feet. It's very disappointing! Especially feeling that I could have saved the extra money I spent. And I understand that I also should have checked something I've never had to do. This review is for my second time going to Monaco nails. The first time was great - I got a dip powder manicure and gel pedicure, the service was lovely, and my nails came out looking really good and clean. It also lasted me almost a month! Loved that first experience. However my second time, the lady who did my nails kept hitting the skin at the edge of my cuticles, which hurt and left some open micro scratches so now my skin at the edge of my nails sting anytime I wash my hands or squeeze a lemon. Plus the dip powder manicure was really sloppy. The edges are uneven, at all the surface of my nails is bumpy and uneven. I barely ever get my nails done... I think this is only like the 5th time in my life going to a nail salon. The first time I came to Monaco Nails a few weeks ago was a treat from my sister, and I only decided to go back the second time recently because I liked the first one, and I'm pregnant so I wanted to do something special for myself before baby gets here... so I'm super bummed that the first time was so great and my second time wasn't as good. I felt too shy to say anything about it because she kept telling me how pretty they looked... and like I said, I barely ever get my nails done. Appointment was scheduled and did not get attended at designated time. I specifically asked for sugar scrub before start of pedi and didn't receive services initially intended. The nail tech handled my feet rudely and messed up a toenail and did not fix it, instead coated it some more with nail polish. I had to ask her to stop with her attitude and by that point I just wanted to get out of there! I'm from out of town and staying in the Goodyear area. I have been desperately trying to find a nail Salon for a pedicure. This place has a sign on the door that says walk-ins welcome, but that is not the case. I wasn't even greeted with a hello, I was greeted with a, "do you have an appointment?" I said no, the sign says walk ins welcome and I'm from out of town. She says sorry, appointments only. If walk-ins are not welcome, then please remove the sign. There were 4 open pedicure chairs and I was willing to wait, but was rudely turned away. The sign also says you're open until 7pm. read more

First let's start with my FILL cost $52.... for it to last 3 days before they started breaking. Went back had them fix it. Only to have them break again a few days later, with another trip back I figured they would be fixed. Joke was on me when I was back in there today( 3 times since the fill within a WEEK) just to have my nail chip again 3 hours later.. I cannot stress this enough GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I happened upon this place while my husband was getting his clean cleaned next door. I got right in. They did a liquid gel fill and it turned out perfectly. I had some many color choices too.
