Freddie and Jason were amazing from start to finish. Jason responded quickly to my yelp request and was able to come out the day of to get measurements to give me a quote. I absolutely love that he not only double checked his measurements, he triple checked and he explained everything in detail with me. He answered any and ALL questions I had and made sure to make me comfortable with any ideas and plan he had. He is incredibly easy to get along with and actually listened to what I wanted. I told him right away that our dogs were our main priority and we wanted a yard that would be their own Disneyland. He thought about our pups in any decision/idea that was made! I let Jason know our budget and he worked within our budget. We truly got so much done for the price we were quoted by Monarch. I met with a ton of companies and Monarch gave us the best price around! Now onto the work itself.... The thing I appreciated the most were the updates. Freddie kept me in the loop on their progress or if they ran into any issues. If I had any concerns, I could easily text/call and he would respond in a timely manner. He sent me pictures throughout the process and really accommodated my schedule. Our yard came out even better than I even thought it'd be! Freddie and Jason gave me a 2 week timeline and they finished in a week and a half! We absolutely love how the turf, retaining wall and concrete came out. Freddie even being located in CA came out to my house in Arizona prior to install to ensure measurements and see the property. My husband and I have been doing research on landscaping companies over the past few months. Some of our neighbors had contracted with Monarch and I'd been getting served ads on Meta by them. From what we saw, their work looked great until quite a few people in my community began complaining about pushed timelines and unprofessionalism by whomever is the owner. They kept getting told they're very busy and received promises to return to complete or fix projects. One of my neighbors also complained about having specific ideas and the owner not adhering to what was requested, saying his idea was better. I guess they pick and choose who's worth providing excellent customer service to and who's not. But the CHERRY ON TOP was when I was told the owner made racist remarks about some people in the area. I wouldn't give them a dime of our hard-earned money; I don't care how nice their work may look. So in the very beginning it went very well I loved working with tj and getting the yard designed. Project went pretty smoothly and everything was done in a timely fashion. Now this is where I ran into problems. I was told that I had a two year warranty and within a week of completion I noticed I had discoloration in some of the curbing and also a big crack in on and some hair line cracks in the others. I called tj who I had dealt with the hole time and he said they would come out and re do it. I waited a few months as he told me they were backed up. Called again and this time Freddy spoke to me. On the phone didn't sound to pleased and said he'd come take pictures and get it taken care of. He came out took the pictures and it's been about 8 months no response. I spent 25k and just find that to be pretty crappy that they can't just fix my curbing which I told them not even a week after everything was done. Good work but I don't feel they keep their word on warranty and things of that nature. read more

I called and spoke to Freddy on Friday the 14th of April 2017. He came out to my house on Tuesday the 18th of April to take pictures, measurements and ask for my ideas. He never asked what my budget was, but said that he'd have an estimate and some suggestions / ideas by the end of the week. It's now the 4th of May. Three weeks and I never heard back. I do not recommend calling them if you have any challenging / laboring ideas. It irks me to hear their advertisements on the radio and posts on Facebook when they lack the professionalism to follow through with previous appointments.
