I love Dr. Fabi so much. I've been seeing her for 10 years, and I genuinely look better now than…read morewhen I started. That says everything. She listens to my concerns and I have complete confidence that when she recommends something to me, she has my best interest in mind and the results are always natural. I always look like myself -- just better. I've referred multiple friends to her and they've all had the same experience. Highly recommend without hesitation.

I contacted Cosmetic Laser Dermatology because I was interested in a specific cosmetic filler…read moretreatment and wanted basic pricing before scheduling. The experience was disappointing and, in my opinion, not transparent. I asked multiple times for pricing on a clearly defined request: two syringes of cheek filler, including common options such as Voluma, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Contour, or RHA 4. Instead of a meaningful estimate, I was told the price could range from $400 to $3,000. That range is so broad that it is almost meaningless. The real concern is that the practice then expects patients to pay a $250 consultation fee just to find out what the service may actually cost. I fully understand that a physician needs to evaluate anatomy, goals, product choice, and treatment planning before giving a final recommendation. But for common self-pay cosmetic injectables, a medical practice should be able to provide baseline pricing, including consultation fees, per-syringe pricing, and realistic treatment ranges before asking someone to pay for a consult. The staff member I spoke with was polite, and this review is not about the doctors' clinical skill. The physicians may be excellent. My concern is with the business policy and the lack of upfront pricing transparency. As someone who has worked in healthcare for many years, I found this approach troubling. Patients should not have to pay $250 just to get basic pricing information for a commonly performed cosmetic service. It creates mistrust and makes the financial side of the practice feel opaque and unfair. I chose not to move forward because I did not feel comfortable with the pricing process. I would encourage the practice to publish clear pricing ranges, train staff to answer basic cost questions, and provide patients with useful cost information before requiring a paid consultation.

I am extremely disappointed by the care I received from this dermatology office…read more I was struggling with painful, persistent rashes on my eyelids and neck and was diagnosed with a fungal infection without any culture or testing to confirm it. I was prescribed oral antifungal medication, which made me feel absolutely terrible. By day 10, my rashes were not improving, and I felt increasingly unwell from the medication. I called the office twice yesterday--once at 8:30 a.m. as soon as they opened, and again later that day. I clearly explained that the medication was not working and that I was experiencing significant side effects. Nobody called me back. Apparently, I was expected to continue feeling sick and wait through the entire weekend until Monday for someone to respond. Because I could not get help from this office, I scheduled an appointment through Zocdoc with another dermatologist. After examining me, he immediately questioned the fungal diagnosis and told me that nothing about my symptoms appeared fungal. He diagnosed me with contact dermatitis, prescribed two different ointments, and told me he was highly confident I would improve before our follow-up appointment. What is even more concerning is that my former dermatologist had instructed me to use hydrocortisone on my eyelids and neck if the antifungal treatment failed. My new dermatologist warned me that steroid use around the eyes needs to be handled very carefully because prolonged or inappropriate use can potentially increase eye pressure and contribute to glaucoma. On top of feeling sick for 10 days and receiving what now appears to have been the wrong treatment, I threw away hundreds of dollars' worth of makeup and replaced it because I believed I had a contagious fungal infection. Misdiagnoses can happen, but failing to return two calls from a patient who is reporting that a prescribed medication is not working and is making them feel unwell is unacceptable. I felt dismissed, unsupported, and completely abandoned by this office. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend seeking a second opinion before beginning treatment based solely on a visual diagnosis.
