When I expressed immediate and legitimate concerns about the grossly asymmetrical, misshapen outcome, I was dismissively met with the condescending remark: "Let's remember, they're sisters, not twins." This patronizing statement was clearly meant to deflect responsibility and silence a vulnerable, young patient who had just trusted him with her body. The result was not only physically disfiguring, but emotionally devastating. At the time, I lacked the personal and emotional support to pursue legal recourse. However, with time and reflection, it's become undeniably clear: I was negligently and carelessly operated on, and the trauma I endured has left lasting scars--both literally and psychologically. To be specific, Dr. Umansky's surgical execution resulted in: Sloppy and uneven internal tissue excision Poorly closed incisions, resulting in significant scarring and dog-ear deformities Asymmetrical areolas, with nipples more than an inch off from one another Long-term disfigurement that has made any corrective procedures extremely complex and costly Despite my desperation and embarrassment, I reached out to the office manager shortly after the surgery to request even a partial refund so I could afford reconstructive work elsewhere. My plea was coldly denied and ultimately ignored. The lack of professional accountability shown by both Dr. Umansky and his office was reprehensible. Since then, I have consulted with multiple board-certified plastic surgeons, all of whom confirmed the extensive damage done and emphasized the difficulty of now restoring what was once a healthy, intact chest. One even stated that the tissue had been "butchered"--their words, not mine. I have photographic documentation of both the immediate post-op results and my current condition, which I am prepared to share publicly and with appropriate legal channels if necessary. If the platform allowed, I would upload these images in full to give others the visual proof of what I have suffered due to Dr. Umansky's substandard care. Dr. Umansky, whether your staff chose to shield you from the fallout or not, you should know: your conduct was not only negligent but borders on medical malpractice. Your failure to take responsibility--medically or financially--for the irreversible damage you caused is inexcusable. I gave everything I had to pay for that surgery, and in return, I was left physically distorted and emotionally broken. This message is for the patients who have been silenced, dismissed, or gaslit into thinking they had no right to speak up. I speak now because I have found my voice--and others deserve to find theirs too. Your actions, Dr. Umansky, were not only unprofessional and unethical--they were, and remain, absolutely unforgivable.

She answered every question and if she didn't know found me my answer same day. Front desk always greets with a smile. Margie is the best! She has been with that practice for over twenty plus years and truly makes you feel like your family. She helps coordinate your needs after surgery. Extremely important! I needed help with my disability forms and she was prompt and made sure she kept me in the loop through the process. This team has been accommodating and given me great quality of care and should be acknowledged for going above and beyond. Just posting because I was looking for this when I was doing research…read more 1) they charge $100 just for a consult which many do free of charge 2) I called because I wanted a drainless procedure but the schedulers said they weren't sure they were still doing that despite what it says on the website 3) they charge 15k-18k for a tummy tuck which is quite a bit more expensive than others and the quote doesn't include anesthesia! How can you even have a surgery without anesthesia?! Of course it should be included in the quote. 4) they are booking out 5 months for just a consult--and you have to pay the consult fee upfront! 5) they are booking out surgeries 6 months so you would really need to plan on booking the surgery immediately at the time of your consult or you'll basically be waiting a year from scheduling a consult to surgery. Fortunately there are other surgeons that actually do drainless tummy tucks and don't charge a consult fee and can fit in consults within a few weeks to allow time to decide on a surgeon and prepare before scheduling the surgery. Sharing since I was looking for this information at the time I was evaluating surgeons. It just left me with a bad taste and makes me feel like it's a production mill, I may not get the personalized attention I'd want and they're a bit misleading.

These comments felt inappropriate and made me feel pressured and insecure rather than supported. Overall, I felt that he did not listen to my goals or respect my boundaries. I booked this consultation specifically because of his advertised experience with endoscopic transaxillary cases and made my preferences very clear, yet I felt pushed toward a procedure I did not want. I would not trust this doctor and would recommend finding a surgeon who truly listens and has experience in the specific approach you're looking for. Additionally after the consultation, I called the office again to clarify whether it would be possible to proceed with an under-the-armpit approach without a lift, since I am comfortable with my breast shape and simply want more volume. I came for Botox due to migraines and TMJ dysfunction. I was seen by Kathy and she was 100% real and honest with me. When I've been to other places are just like OK here's your injection this is the standard amount, See you in x amount of months for the same amount. Through out every appointment he always seemed rushed and irritated, as if my questions were an inconvenience. Every visit felt uncomfortable and dismissive and he always seemed like he was trying to get out of the room as soon as possible. After my rhinoplasty, my nose was left asymmetrical, with a large residual bump, a droopy tip, and hanging columella which haven't improved over time. My nose looks completely different when looking at it from the right versus the left because of this bump. When I brought up my concerns, the doctor refused to acknowledge any issue and dismissed it by saying he doesn't know what I'm talking about and that he thinks "my nose looks fine". He offered to "file it down" in-office for another $2,000 -- but even it was completely free I wouldn't trust him to do it. I met with two other surgeons who also agree that with my concerns but Dr Mofid couldn't even bring himself to acknowledge the lack of quality in his results. The gynecomastia surgery was also unsatisfactory. My chest was left uneven, with one areola becoming inverted and the other remaining puffy. My concerns were brushed off with little to no explanation or care. After seeing other patients report similar experiences, I wish I had listened sooner. Please take those reviews seriously and avoid this doctor at all costs. Find a surgeon who listens, values their patients, and stands behind their results.
