It felt very intimidating to even consult about the procedure and I avoided it for years. When I went to my first consultation at Dr. Umansky's, I had a total shift from intimidated to excited and confident. The whole team was so kind, supportive and knowledgable and also very personable. I felt like they each cared about me as a person and truly got to know me before my procedure. My friends who have had breast augmentations always said, "I wish I had just done this years ago" and I have to say I am SO glad I did this procedure when I did as I felt beautiful on my wedding and am loving my body post-accident again. Literally every single person - from the front desk, consultants, anesthesiologist to the woman who gave me a complimentary facial - were all just fantastic. Dr. Umansky really seems like the best of the best - he couldn't be any nicer and he really took the best care of me. I would recommend him to anyone. I could not be happier with my experience or my results. This is definitely the place to go!

Referred to Dr. Jaibaji for a Mohs closure on my nose. Had 4 appointments total (consult, closure,…read moresuture removal, follow-up). Consult went fine, I guess. (There was no appt reminder.) It was about a 5-minute appt so he could see the area he needed to close. Closure was scheduled for the day after my Mohs surgery. He told me to call the office if I was done early, and he'd try to squeeze in the closure on the same day. My Mohs was done quickly, so I called at 9:40AM to see if he could squeeze me in. The receptionist was irritated and confused. There was some yelling back and forth in the background and I was told to come in the following day for the scheduled appointment as Jaibaji was not available on this afternoon. The receptionist seemed pretty irritated. I apologized and reiterated that Jaibaji told me during the consult to call in to check. (Reminder: I have a fresh open wound and I'm getting attitude over the phone from people who told me to call them.) I then asked her if she could confirm my appt time (as there was no appt reminder sent - a recurring theme). She was irritated again and asked me my name, then took two minutes to find my appt time. Closure day: I walked into the reception area, sat down. "Your co-pay is $35." I look around. No one else is in the reception area. All I see is a forehead and hair behind the back of a flat screen monitor. That was my greeting on the day of my closure. I paid. The closure went fine. It's my first, so I don't have anything to compare it to. He was a little sloppy with the anesthetic, some of which ran down into the corner of my eye. (I got to drive home with 8 stitches in my face and a numb, watery eyeball.) The only care guidance provided was that it was okay to do anything I wanted (i.e. take a shower that night). This was not good guidance. The conversation during the closure was interesting. Dr. Jaibaji entered into an existential AI rant and told me the reason I lost my job in IT was due to AI. It was not, but he didn't want to hear that. He only wanted to hear that AI will take everyone's job. Not exactly an enjoyable conversation for when someone's cutting your face open. When I returned for suture removal, I received the exact same greeting as before (none, just a stated copay amount due). The suture removal was quick. A slightly gentler hand and the ability to wash my face afterwards would have been appreciated, but it was a relief to get the stitches out. My follow-up appointment coincided with Federal jury duty. Had a reminder been sent, I would have called to reschedule ahead of time. They were understanding and told me to reschedule when my jury service concluded. I have not bothered as I'm sure any follow-up to this level of care would be pointless. The office has not followed-up. My nose is healing fine...I'm taking care of it. I'm leveraging online guidance and advice from people who've had Mohs surgery before. Strange bedside manner, unprofessional support staff, and inaccurate recovery guidance. Very weird experience. Can't recommend, unfortunately.

Once I stepped in Ranch and Coast, Dr. C explained his approach, I canceled with the other doctor, even though my insurance was going to pay for a large portion. Dr. C spent quite a while with me, answered all of my questions. I always feel like once you get in front of a Dr they make you rush, you end up, leaving with more questions and then answers. That was not the case at Ranch and Coast! I immediately felt a huge relief, and knew it was going to be a great outcome. Jennifer, from the surgery scheduling department really made me feel comfortable. And made the process extremely easy. I was dealing with two ruptured silicone implants from a previous surgeon, and was dealing with a lot of pain and infection. So getting me booked ASAP was a huge part of this as well. I was booked for surgery within 10 days of my consult, which was amazing! I was up and feeling great the next day, and they were already looking perfect! Dr Chasan minimized my previous scars, and did not require making it anymore. That was another reason I chose not to go to the other surgeon. It's been exactly 11 days since my surgery, I am so unbelievably happy! Not only am I feeling so much better from the removal of ruptured silicone, but they look so great. Love the cleavage and the way Doctor Chasan does breast surgery. I would highly recommend, and I already have. Two of my girlfriends are in the process of scheduling consults, after seeing how great mine look! I can confidently say he's one of the best surgeons in San Diego!

Since I'm not local, most communication was done by phone and email. His staff was initially very responsive and helpful, and my consultation, though brief, felt aligned. Based on that, I scheduled surgery the same day. Things started to feel off at my in-person pre-op appointment the day before surgery. I expected to meet Dr. Chasan for the first time, but instead was seen only by a nurse who seemed disengaged. The appointment consisted of photos and basic instructions. When I asked if I could meet the doctor, I was told he was unavailable. This made me uneasy, but with surgery the next day and already paid for, I felt I had no choice but to move forward. The morning of surgery, I was brought back and expected to proceed without seeing the surgeon. I had to specifically ask to meet with him before anything began. That conversation was brief but reassuring. We aligned on the aesthetic goals, which gave me some relief. The surgery itself went smoothly, and Dr. Chasan did call me the evening after surgery to check in. I am overall satisfied with my result. However, I do have a slight inverted V, which is concerning, as I worry it may worsen over time and potentially require correction in the future. I'm hopeful that being two years out it won't worsen, however I haven't been given the opportunity to speak with Dr. Chasan to ask about this. Unfortunately, the post-operative care is where my experience completely broke down. I had a scheduled post-op phone appointment with Dr. Chasan that he never attended- he never called. When I reached out to the office, I was not connected with him and was instead put on the phone with a nurse. I never actually spoke with the surgeon. I later followed up via email and was told that I was the one who failed to follow up, which was simply not true. After correcting this, the staff member apologized. Despite that, I have still never heard from Dr. Chasan again. For a procedure as significant as rhinoplasty, the lack of follow-up and accountability was extremely disappointing. While I am generally happy with my result, the absence of proper post-operative care and communication is something I cannot overlook.

He spoke very fast, was insistent, and both my support person and I felt lost and talked over. He told me my nipples were "turned down," which I disagreed with, and made unsolicited comments such as women not wanting to "look like a boy," that "guys don't care about scars," and that "you either have scars or you don't have bigger boobs." These comments felt inappropriate and made me feel pressured and insecure rather than supported. Overall, I felt that he did not listen to my goals or respect my boundaries. I booked this consultation specifically because of his advertised experience with endoscopic transaxillary cases and made my preferences very clear, yet I felt pushed toward a procedure I did not want. I would not trust this doctor and would recommend finding a surgeon who truly listens and has experience in the specific approach you're looking for. Additionally after the consultation, I called the office again to clarify whether it would be possible to proceed with an under-the-armpit approach without a lift, since I am comfortable with my breast shape and simply want more volume. He responded that I would "have the same breasts, just bigger," and that I would still have "the same problem." I explained that I do not see my breasts as a problem and that I like them as they are. So I can say from experience, that the quality of the injector makes a huge difference. You definitely get what you pay for. I now have a clear goal and plan where she will assess how I'm going after each treatment and see how to adjust for the next. after just a few days I already see positive changes. On another note when coming here it is in the medical center so come 15 minutes before your appointment to give you time to park and find the place since it is an area with a lot of medical offices. Also, you do have to pay to park but they did validate my parking.
