My family has been coming here for longer that I can remember and I have never been disappointed. It has been a few years since we have been, for various different reasons and I was so pleasantly surprised to see some updates, the biggest of which is the added meat option: Lamb! They have always kept their food fresh, clean and accessible. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The only thing that keeps it from a 5 star is the atmosphere itself. So! Our favorite BBQ place, great staff! My son begs to come here, I let him get whatever he wants as long as there are two scoops of vegetables. He's happy and so am I! Regarding price, we always get the small dish(even hubby), plenty of food and you get rice too. We go at least once a month. read more

The gals next to us let their kid play/make a mess of his food, (huge mess!) and the waitress cleaned it up (for ten minutes) smiling the whole time. Her comment "thank you for giving me this job"!! Hands down, the best Mongolian place in town. I'll even arm wrestle someone if they believe different. Prices are reasonable, food is fresh, counters and floors aren't all sticky and gross (Hu Hot) and they actually cook your food individually, not with 10 other people's food all at the same time(Hu Hot you know who you are)! read more

I'm so happy that we found this place. We were headed to old reliable, Hu Hot, when this popped up on Yelp. The veggies are very fresh! Good assortment of meats. The sauces are much different than Hu Hot, they are light. They have a BBQ that was really good, not gluten free though. There are 4 sauces that aren't Gluten free the rest are. We've been to both Valley and Airway Hts locations. Great friendly staff and a nice selection of food to build your custom bowl! Great pricing and never leave hungry, it's nice they offer various sizes of bowls, along with an All you can eat option. That is one thing HuHot lacks is bringing home your leftovers. Only option at HuHot is to eat there one flat price or an order to go, so that is a plus for Mongolian BBQ to eat there with different bowl sizes/prices and then you can bring home leftovers! Both are very tasty places to eat, you will pay more at HuHot though. read more

The food here is great. The ingredients to choose from were very fresh and plentiful. The cooks were fast and entertaining. The wait staff was very attentive and helped to make it a great experience. We love this place. It's Mongolian BBQ, so it is what it is as far as food and selection and what not. I have to agree. This is the best Mongloian BBQ. Don't forget lots of sauce and some oil. We always go there when we get a chance. They have some of these restaurants in Boise and they are good there also,. If you don't know how to do the sauces, ask one of the cooks and they will do it for you. Very good food read more

This is where I go if Hu Hut is too busy. It's not flashy, but you get your $ worth. They have a smaller sauce selection but will cook your food longer to ensure everything is done. read more

I checked this place out based on the reviews here on yelp but I just didn't like it. I tried many different sauce combinations and even got recommendations from the staff. In the end I found that the sauces were bland (possibly due to adding so much water when cooking) and boring. read more

LOVE the fresh veggies and fruits here. Their meat/veggie/fruit bar is always very neat and clean. The cooks know exactly how much water to use to properly cook the food and it has never been burned. The noodles are always cooked to perfection. They ALWAYS use a 2nd clean bowl to put your cooked food into. At Hu Hot in Spokane Valley and the Mongolian Grill on Division St., they always burn the food. Plus, the sauces at this Mongolian Grill are MUCH better and more flavorful than either of those other Mongolian restaurants in Spokane. The staff is always very polite, friendly and accomodating. On the plus side, the decor is bright, clean and pleasant. We enjoy the food, ambience and customer service so much that we eat here 4 to 5 times a week. Food was good ,me and my wife always eat at the one in CDA Idaho and we were out that way and tried this one .Floors were sticky when you took a step you could here the floor sticking to your shoes .We alway get the large bowl and it cools down in size and CDA puts it in a smaller bowl.But not her food only filled it up 1/2 way but they charged for the largest bowl .Guess we will stay in the CDA restaurant lot cheeper and cleaner read more

This place is amazing. We got there at 8:30, 30 minutes before they closed. They still greeted us and sat us with no problem. Even with being ready to close, all the ingredients were stocked and very fresh. The guy cooking was very helpful with what sauces and how much to put on. The food was so delicious. Very fresh. We lost track of time and stayed a few minutes past closing, but they just let us finish up and didn't rush us out. and brought us boxes so we could take home leftovers. We have been coming here at least weekly for a few years. I prefer to taste more individual vegetable tastes so only add ginger, garlic and sesame oil for sauces and get the flavor I want because the grill gets cleaned and I don't have to eat other peoples' sauce choices. The place is cleaner than clean, the staff is GENUINELY friendly - not a faker in the bunch - the service is unparalleled. The choices are varied in texture, color and flavor (and I love lamb). After being there a few times they knew exactly what we want and bring it without asking. They want their regulars to feel like family and treat us that way. Just dined at the mongolian grill. Great experience. I am in hotels many nights (110 so far in 2016) so i am not very forgiving. The first impression is of cleanliness. The second is a total lack of oder. The wait staff was relentless in providing service and information. The food is a simple concept, choose you bowl size, fill it and they cook your ingredients. The difference is that the staff is constantly cleaning the buffet. . It feels as if your the first person of the day to walk through. Dinner buffet proteins include lamb and mixed seafood, plus the usual staples. All items seem fresh. The sauces were very good and the cook was quick to provide sauce suggestions at the first hesitant sign. . A separate bowl of rice is provided at the table. At the conclusion a fortune cookie is provided placed in its own little bowl. . I will be back. read more

My husband and I try to eat here once per week. We tried Hu Hot, but prefer Mongolian BBQ. The food is fresh, great sauce selections, good atmosphere (relaxed and not over crowded) and friendly service. The restaurant is always clean. Even my kids like to eat here and they are picky eaters. I highly recommend this restaurant. They have a punch card that is good for a free meal. read more

My wife and I love this place! We come here l just about whenever we have time. The food is good, the place is clean, the prices are fair and the staff is very friendly. We tried it out first about a year ago, then left town for 5 months and when we came back, the manager instantly recognized us and asked where we had been, even after meeting us just once. I have been there twice and food has been incredible both times they have coke freestyle and I'm always full after dinner so it's been a great place to eat every time I'm there wouldn't mind an all you can eat ice cream bar but eh. All in all good food!! Def recommend! read more
