    Combo #3

Good authentic Korean food and generous portions at a decent price, will be back to try it all

    Chicken roll

Food was amazing however prices were more that double the price on website. the owner said he told me on the phone. I calculated $31 plus tax! for my 4 veggie rolls a chicken teriyaki and a beef roll. small portions for $65.00. The owner was very short with me when I questioned the bill and blamed me for not understanding his Korean. I won't return!! I will say the presentation is beautiful! Poor customer service can ruin the entire experience. The menu said $4.50 spring rolls and $6.50 teriyaki beef and chicken. what really irked my nerves were he kept saying "I told you on phone" old menu. never once mentioned double + prices!!!

I had the best time eating here. We weren't for an impromptu date and we're not disappointed. From the outside it's doesn't look like much but it's one of those surprise hole in the wall restaurants you keep wanting to come back too. Everything was good really well and the service was nice. Even though we were full we were still wanting more

Ever since the West-side government mandated closing in-resto dining statewide, while proliferating herd mentality in the big-box retail stores, Saturdays have been about ordering take-out from our favorite places. Everything today was as good as ever, but I will advise folks that if the owner dude takes the phone call, he's gonna ask you for your credit card number to secure the order. I'm not cool providing that info over the phone, anymore. But as luck would have it, my Wifey was close enough to place order in person and then do a little shopping in the area before pick-up. Woe is my wallet for that little development. I will say that even when we have dined in at Fusion, that guy has always been--ahem--a little salty. But as long as Mr. Sunshine isn't in my line of sight, I'll eat their great Korean fare any day of the week...

Gotta love a great hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Sooo good! Some of the best Asian style food I've had in the greater Spokane area. I know, that bar is pretty low... We had an appointment in the area and decided to go here for lunch. The reviews were pretty good. We were not disappointed. We both had one a #1 Combo. I had bulgogi and my friend had teriyaki chicken. It came with white Rice, 4pc fried dumplings, 4pc California rolls, and an assortment of little salads/condiments like kimchi and other marinated veggies. Everything was delicious. We both said, "Mmmm!" when we bit into the fried dumplings. Everything was a great quality. Perfect seasoning without being too sweet or spicy. Just right! Would drive the 20+ minutes to go there again.

Good Beef Bulgogi and Chicken Bulgogi. Fun Korean side dishes to go with our lunch. Kimchee, Daikon radish, cucumbers, and chili potatoes. California roll was what we expected.

My grown daughter and I went here for lunch. We had been here so many years ago when they first opened but moved to the west side of the state. I can't tell you how much we really loved our lunch. Service was great and we will be going back. Give this wonderful Korean place a try... Don't judge a book by it's cover... Needs a little update which is the reason for only 4 Stars

Really really want this place to be good, it just isn't. Small place, a bit loud and minimalist decor. I would describe the food as small flavors. Size of the portions is generous, but maybe in part that's why the tatse is less abundant. Slow service, yet friendly all the same. This place needs a total make over and a new chef. So I guess it needs a lot.

Little spot, great food, not super busy. Fast friendly service. Portions are good size. I'll eat here again.

    Are there vegan options? :)

The food is made with incredibly authentic intention. They serve purple rice, and make all their own banchan. The banchan was so so good - the kimchi alone was the perfect spicy and fermented. Truly well done. I ordered the mackerel and the spicy tofu soup - extra spicy. The fish was IMMACULATE. Perfect sauce with onions and radish to accompany it and served over crunchy cabbage. This fish was a highlight of the entire meal. Spicy tofu soup is highly rated in my book and I am very particular with this soil and this place nailed it. Lastly I have to shout out the service. Such a wonderful service with Brandy and her brother in law Caden serving me up like I was in their living room. It felt so cozy and like home away from home eating here. Can't recommend this place enough. I wish I was staying in town longer so that I could go back again!!

I came here on a weekend and there was quite a long wait, given how popular this place is. It took about 45 minutes to get my food. On first glace, it did not appear to be an authentic Korean food just looking at it from outside, but I would say that my opinion changed when I got my food. Ambiance-wise, it is lively and busy and there is not much to talk about in terms of the decor and what the inside of the restaurant looks like. I will have to say that parking is tricky given that both peripheral roads to this place are one-way, so getting in can be tricky unless you make long loops, so just be aware of that, especially on the weekend when there is not much parking in front of the restaurant. Service is friendly but a little bit slower I ordered a Beef Gimbap and a Beef Bulgogi which came out to around $45 before tipping. This place is definitely ridiculously overpriced in my opinion. Now on to the food, the best part! The Beef Gimbap was decent, but not the best I've had. It was peculiar getting purple rice, but I was not against it. It was just....different. As for the Beef Bulgogi, it was also pretty decent. It was not too sweet, and was seasoned and cooked well. The banchan was not the best I've had, but also was enjoyable. Overall, I would say this place is very similar to many authentic Korean places I have been to, and is a place I recommend visiting. However, I don't think this is among the top Korean places I have visited.

Food-"I only waited 5 minutes" for my meal! "It was already prepared"! And it showed. The owner suggested the pork bellies as apposed to the plain pork, because he said they have more flavor. The meat had very little flavor!, and the meat was tuff. It was stale. The sauce over powered the flavor of the meat. Lots and lots of sauce!! I'm sorry to be so blunt but, the kimchi was bad. There were 4 or 5 kinds. I've had good Korean food in California. -Not trying to be a snob-, but jeeez. You expect kimchi to be spicy...some flavor, at the very least. You call what I ate Bulgogi! I didn't know they made it with pork. So I tried it; mistake. I could have had a feast a Taco Bell for that price lol. Didn't give one star because the guy was really nice. I had to give this review "to be honest". You guys are a business. Each customer should be just important as the next. I may have gotten a bad meal. Maybe not all are like that. But I'm saying, you can't expect to serve "ready made meals" that have allegedly been sitting for hours in the pot. Then expect your customers to pay full price. When I pay restaurant prices, I expect for a restaurant to cook up the meal, not to be a fast food experience. I paid almost $25 for that meal and it was no more than a fast food entrée. And it was stale.

Spicy pork & chicken were not going to rip the paint off your tongue, and that may be by design for the tenderfoot farmers around here. Prices are steep. Especially for larger appetites, even though I left my large appetite back in my 40s. But, it's actually nice to have a Korean option in our little college town for people to splurge and have something different than a pizza/burger. One laughable thing....is the tiny little ban chan cups of kimchi that come with the meal. Look at my pic, and you'll get the message, haha. Once getting our food there was nothing special about the bowls, it was just beef on top of white rice with limited toppings/veggies. I'm not sure if this was just a day of short staffing or if it's typically 1-2 people working. I probably wouldn't return simply due to the unexpected wait times.
