My husband and I went lastnight at 9 pm...they close at 10 pm....as soon as we sat down they started closing up the food....I said something to the host and our waiter...that there was no food and we better not be expected to pay full diner price....families came in after us...10 mins later they went around to everyone and asked if they were done...they wanted to close....I asked what time it was and they started yelling in Chinese...I said we hadn't even finished our first plate of left overs...and we wanted more...the host yelled to the workers..they then started pointing and yelling at us in their language...the families there all complained...we asked for manager...they sent out another host....wouldn't give manager or owners name and number....paid full price for crap food and worst service ever. My family decided to try the Buffett as I had heard good things. I do want to say the place was clean and there were a ton of options food wise. I also want to say the hibachi was a great option and tasted great. My issue with this restaurant and why they are getting 2 stars is staff staff staff!!! First off every employee pretty much ignored us the entire time we were eating.. when I asked for knifes he said yes but never came back.... they have amazing crab legs, however I was unable to get them as every time they brought them out people were already lined up waiting for them.. they should have them ready and out instead of bringing a small bowl every 15 min and only 2 people get them while the rest wait. This was very frustrating. I literally felt like it was Black Friday and I wanted a tv!!! So no crab legs for me, I wasn't fighting the crowd for them. I had a 5.00 off 40.00 coupon and with 5 people knew we would be over the 40 even with a Sr and a child. I asked when we walked in how much a Senior meal was. I was told 12.99. When I went to check out I was told I had to pay 14.99 for the senior or they wouldn't take the coupon off. Even though I was at 70!!! This was also very frustrating.. needless to say I don't think I will be going back.. it's sad as I said the food was good - hot just horrible service. read more

Update: after two dinners, I'm pretty comfortable in saying that if you're only coming for the crab legs, you'll be disappointed. One time, four women next to me had what appeared to be the entire amount of crab legs that are put out at one time, and I arrived at 4:04pm (four minutes after they started serving the crab legs). The tray isn't refilled very quickly, so you'll just get upset if you see someone has hogged all the crab. On the other hand, they have so much raw sushi, raw clams, fantastic pork loin and prime rib, and other special items only for dinner, that not having crab legs wasn't that big of a deal for me, and it takes a lot of crab legs to get much meat out of them anyway....just so you're not surprised. Raw clams are making a comeback, I recommend trying them with just fresh lemon juice (wedges are next to the clams), or maybe with some of the wasabi or cocktail sauce. The point is, you can eat rather healthy food here at a price that is way below what you would pay in a store, if they even sold it. read more

Very good food always, just cant eat the sushi cause it sits and sits up there under warming lights...lol.. no... the all you can eat lobster for Valentines day was ok... they had to be asked twice to fill it, and then I got my server involved, one claw was still raw inside which I could taste immediately and spit out, but the rest was good. The servers seemingly speak very very little English but are always very kind. The guy at the front counter- I supposed was a shift manager was rude and sweaty looking, I said a good bye and thank you to him and he totally ignored me and could be heard the whole time we were there being rude to his employees and short tempered too.. he was the only fly in the ointment.. always great food here. read more

Bland, uninspired food. Quantity over quality for sure. Most of the things on the buffet were overcooked and chewy/rubbery, including the baked cod, the general tsos chicken, the black pepper chicken and the pepper steak. The shrimp and the steak on the hibachi grill both tasted off, at the first stages of turning bad. We didn't eat more than a few bites because we don't want to risk food poisoning. The sushi was decent but pretty limited in selection at least during lunch time. The saving grace of the buffet was the ice cream, which is pretty good quality. However the questionable food quality here and the weird service has turned me off, and I used to eat at a lot of Chinese buffets back in South Jersey/Philadelphia. read more

How this place has 3.5 stars is beyond me. If you are into bland, greasy, rubbery chinese food then this place is for you. They had a large selection of food, but the quality just wasn't there. The plates are extremely small so you have to constantly keep going back for more (that's if you want to...). After stomaching two small plates of grease I thought that hopefully dessert could save the experience... I was wrong. We go here often. Service is not always 100% as this place is usually super busy. However the food is always hot and delicious and they have a fantastic assortment of options for even the pickiest eaters (my children) I would highly recommend! read more

Disgusting food, terrible service. First, we were ignored while we waited to be seated, even though there was a guy at the host counter and 3 or 4 servers walked right past us, even looked at us! Second, when we tried to go get our first plate of food, another server came out of nowhere and decided to start vacuuming under and around our booth so we couldn't get out or even move. Third, their oysters smelled AWFUL. Food poisoning waiting to happen. The sushi was warm and soaking wet... really, really wierd... I tried to eat one but it was disgusting. The sushi was the whole reason we picked this "restaraunt," what a letdown. Fourth, we obviously tried the buffet too. Awful. The food was all cold except for the sauces, which were blistering hot. The majority of the stuff was dried up and old, mislabeled, or just wrong tasting. I don't know how to describe the tastes, but it was gross. Fifth, it was $30 fricking dollars for such a disgusting meal for just the two of us!!! $30?! I don't know how they get anyone to pay. My boyfriend and I didn't want to make a scene, we told the waitress we were not happy with the meal but paid anyways. Then he accidentally signed the wrong line for his credit card and the waitress freaked out at him! I am beyond dissapointed. Normally, I hate buffets. The food quality is generally poor and they're full of loud obnoxious people. If we're talking buffets though, this is really as good as a chinese buffet is going to get. The coconut shrimp, stuffed clams and sushi were great. Don't go to a buffet for a meal if you're expecting top-level cuisine and white glove service. The servers here are quick, they clear your plates and refill your beverages efficiently. The food is changed over often and kept warm. My one negative would be that I'd like to see more vegetables such as broccoli, etc. They really only had green beans. I did another buffet in the southtowns approximately 1 year ago and it was horrendous by comparison. The next time I am in the mood for Chinese, this is where I'll go. read more

Great buffet!!! Went for lunch everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. There was so many selections to choose from! There were clams, oysters, every Chinese entree, and fresh sushi!!! I had never been here before and I am so glad I did! Give it a try. $7.99 for a fabulous lunch and then a 3D movie at the McKinley mall for $4.00!!! read more

Its called "all you can eat" not "you can eat a coulple dishes". I was forcibly thrown out of the resraunt because I ate too much. Listen if your gonna title it as "all you can eat" you BETTER stand by that. Food was great but, once again that whole getting kicked out thing was a real turn off. I typically can relate to the people that are saying that this place should be cut some slack. But not today. After my family and I completed our ENTIRE meal, and were ready to pay and leave, I found a COCKROACH crawling on my 22 month old son's highchair. That's right folks, a freaking COCKROACH. Do you know how many eggs these creatures lay? So yeah, I don't care if its a decent price, I don't expect that much from a Chinese Buffet but I sure as f*ck don't expect that! Don't eat here! It's utterly filthy, and I'll be contacting the health department tomorrow. The thing that ticked me off most was I called the manager over, and tried to tell him as calmly as possible as not to disturb his other customers.
