The Mulberry serves bread alongside you dinner and we enjoyed dipping our bread in the sauces. I highlight this, as many Italian restaurants appear to be moving away from complimentary bread. The portions of the spaghetti was massive and two normal people could make a meal of it. The ragu was unique, but well developed. The flavors worked in harmony and it made for an unexpectedly excellent choice for lunch. Since the food was excellent, I decided to try the tiramisu. It was a bit mild for my palate, but my wife who prefers less coffee flavor was able to enjoy it with me. It was well composed and a satisfying way to end the meal. We highly recommend stopping in.

When told there was no outdoor seating they requested a table in a corner or away from the more congested areas of the restaurant. They were told no accommodations could or would be made. Shame on you! The food, the service, and the ambiance all become irrelevant when you fail the most important test: the ability to show a little human decency. Rest assured, I will never eat in your restaurant again nor will anyone I know. And your lucky my Italian grandmother is not still alive or I'd have her cast a spell on your heartless establishment.

I don't know why they call it a "Mongolian" buffet, because it has a surprising selection of non-Asian dishes (pizza, desserts, fries, etc). The biggest problem is the lack of variety of vegetable dishes other than salad and the occasional bok choy dish. I would love to see some more, and ones with tofu. Additionally, some items they really shouldn't have on buffet unless they can be kept really hot and fresh like mozzarella sticks. read more

It was shocking to see it, because there is a very large dining room area and it was almost fully occupied. I asked about a booth, and the hostess actually spent some time finding one for us in the perfect spot. I should start my review by saying that all the servers, and working crew were very nice and friendly. The food looked good. For lunch, there were typical dishes, nothing crazy. From two kinds of soup (hot and sour was nothing special), appetizers, lots of chicken, some pork, shrimp, fish, clams, of course rice, noodles (even Shrimp Alfredo). Also I saw pizza, fries, fried chicken looked awesome, wings, mac & cheese, etc. Let's not forget about desserts and fruits. The melons were perfectly ripe and delicious. If you enjoy Chinese Buffets, be sure to stop by and check this place out for yourself. I'm certain that at this price point, you'll have nothing to lose. The visit could turn out to be a really fun experience. I almost forgot, there is also a Hibachi Station on-site where a chef prepares dishes to order. What actually turned us off was 'Salt Overload'. Why do they use so much salt?! It's possible to avoid the most sugary sauces, but salt? The food would be tastier without too much salt, or MSG? (OMG!). The sushi was also a disappointment. There was hardly any of it during our stay, and what I did try wasn't good. One day I would definitely check Amherst Buffet during dinner hours, just to see what's cooking. P.S. Today was the official last day of school for students so that's why this place was full of families and kids. They celebrated :).
