    Chicken Finger Pizza (small)

The pizza was on a fluffy crust, and was absolutely delicious. This pizza is the best I have had in Buffalo! We also had a salad full of fresh veggies, and pizza logs. The customer service is fantastic- they truly care. I can't wait to go back again soon! I can't recommend this pizza enough.

Couldn't wait, the smell was so tantalizing that we were gobbling pizza before I got pictures. YUMMY

Pizza is amazing. Sausage, Mushrooms, Banana Peppers and half Onions on Garlic Crust. Also Spinach, Tomatoes and Cheese Garlic Bread. Excellent Tastes, Service and Price. Everything came as ordered. Sauce is very good, not to sweet or too juicy. Perfect balance.

What's not to like about VinLouie's Pizzeria? We only had subs, but it was satisfying food. We enjoyed it a lot. Our sandwiches were huge, a pound and a quarter each (I had to weigh them to fulfill my curiosity). The chicken and spinach is my favorite. It's a tasty combination with lots of tender meat, flavorful greens and melted cheese. Ah! We also tried their antipasto salad, and it was great. The plastic container was packed with lots of fresh and tasty goodies. There were many choices of salad dressings. The Caesar salad dressing was delicious. With extra lettuce from our garden, it was still a wonderful leftover for the next day's lunch. With the rest of my sandwich, it was enough food for two people's mid day meal. It's a takeout only place. We ordered over the phone and everything was ready waiting for us when we arrived to pick it out.

One of my best friends recently built a home in the area, and found this pizzeria a mile from his place, and has kept telling me it's really good and you have to try it when visiting from South Florida. So we decided to ring in the New Year, and order some goodies. Decided on one of the everyday specials- large cheese and one item pie with 20 wings done the right way, deep fried, crispy and choice of flavors. We did pepperoni pie and 20 wings Hot. The pizza was friggin outstanding, reminded me of an Imperial Pizza, and Bocce Club. The sauce had a slight sweetness to it, had a tiny spice to it, a perfectly built sauce. We went with a thinner crust on the pie, as everyone knows Buffalo pies have pretty thick crusts. The dough was light, fresh and delicious. I'd opt for a sesame crust next time too! This is one of the better pies in WNY IMO. The wings were on point, crispy, perfectly seasoned, perfect spicy heat. We seemed to get quite a few flats, which was fine with us! I might ask for saucier next time, I love 'em sloppy :) Also ordered a steak Philly, which was absolutely divine. Buddy raves about the wraps, just incredible- esp the ones with Southern fried chicken. I'll be a regular at this place when visiting family and friends from Florida. Don't change a thing VinLouie's. You're firing on all cylinders.

We love Vin Louies. My favorite specialty pizzas are the stuffed pepper and the hot honey. unfortunately the regular cheese and pepperoni pizza hasn't been consistent lately. Sometimes there's barely any crust, sometimes there's a good inch or two of it. Sometimes the cheese is too thick, sometimes not. Sometimes the sauce is slightly sweet sometimes not. I wish it would stay the same. We prefer less cheese, thick crust.

We decided to try out this pizzeria on our way home from the beach. They were a little behind on orders when we went to pick up our order but they were super nice about it and gave us a free 20 oz soda for our wait. We ordered the chicken and waffle 1/2 sheet and a slice of cheese and pepperoni pizza. The reg slice was good with a sweet sauce, thick and crunchy crust with char & cup pepperoni. The chicken and waffle pizza was delish with cut pieces of chicken and waffles with tons of cheese and a sweet maple sauce. Yum....would recommend this place for sure!

We ordered online, and while the experience was mostly great, I knocked off a star because the online ordering system auto-selects certain items for subs. For example, I like lettuce and tomatoes on my steak hoagie, so I left them checked, but they were left off my sub. That said, even though the order wasn't perfect, the food was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the white pizza, and it was phenomenal. So, while they could improve their website, they've still become my new favorite spot in town!

Lacking cheese on the plain cheese side

We were excited to try out a new pizza place but it didn't meet expectations unfortunately. The pizza itself is bland. The crust didn't have flavor (we ordered one with the garlic parm crust which helped) ,the sauce lacks flavor and was very thick and too much on there. There was not a lot of cheese on the plain cheese side of the pie and the cheese that was there was over cooked. We ordered another pizza with ham and there was barely any on some of the slices. We also tried the chicken finger sub and that was very good and I would recommend it. For a bigger order I was surprised the wait was only 30 min which was nice and the staff was very quick and friendly while getting orders out quickly on a Friday night. It's not my style of pizza but given location. I'm sure they get a lot of business without me having to return.

We ordered pizza and wings from VinLouie's last month and unfortunately we did not like the style of pizza they offer. It was way too much thick crust and under-baked when we actually specifically asked that they over-bake it cause we like a well done pie. I see a couple of pictures from other reviews that looked way better than ours so I'm going to chalk that up to inconsistencies due to them being new, and perhaps certain employees just need more training. We also didn't like their sauce because it was on the sweeter side and didn't have much flavor at all, and they don't do the char cupped margherita pepperoni which I personally think is a must for any respectable pizzeria in the Buffalo area. We also ordered some wings and while they were soggy and not extra crispy as we requested, they had good flavor and tasted just fine when we popped them into the toaster oven to crisp them up. It was a Sunday afternoon around 3-3:30, with no football games or anything as the Super Bowl was already over, so I can't give them any credit for rushing through baking our pizza due to rush hour. The reason I've given them 4 stars is solely based on their amazing customer service when there was an issue with our order, and that they're still new and working out the kinks. But since I don't think they'll be changing their dough, sauce, or pepperoni, I don't think we will be getting pizza from here again. I'm sure there are others who enjoy the pizza here, and I understand that everyone has different preferences, so I did not want to take away their chance of being successful just because we personally didn't like their pizza.

Great new local pizza place! We were excited to see a new business open up on route 5. I can't imagine how hard it would be to open a business during covid but these guys seem to have it down pat. We tried the regular and gluten free pizzas both with garlic parm crust. Both were very good. The garlic parm was a nice touch on the crust. It was like eating a yummy breadstick after you finished the pizza. The prices and portions were very reasonable. The only feedback we had was the toppings were a little light and it would be nice to have had a little more. The GF crust was delicious, getting a GF dough to mimic regular dough isn't easy but they did a great job. Under the toppings the dough was like regular pizza, it wasn't too dry or cracker like and still crispy on the crust area. We thought it was cool that you could choose a variety of crust flavors. I appreciated that you could add the novelty to GF because most often specialty touches aren't available on GF items. They also offer specialty pizzas, subs, wings, fingers, salads, sides and kids meals. The one tip I have about the GF pizza is that it is a little smaller/ lighter than some others. The portion is fine for the price, I only mention this because without wings or a side it might not be a complete meal for 2 hungry adults to share. Currently they are offering take out via curbside only. You pull in at your pickup time and someone comes out with a clipboard. They get your information and you wait in your car and your order is brought out in a few minutes. Everyone was wearing masks and following covid protocols.

First off, I was greeted and found staff friendly and efficient! You have plenty of options for seating .. dining area, front bar, back bar, even an outdoor patio bar. Although it is dive bar-esque, it was nice and clean (let's be honest .. some dives have a stench and stickiness that can definitely ruin your appetite, no matter how much you may love them). They have a set up for bands to play, as one was playing while I was there for their 2 year anniversary (congrats!). What was nice is although I could hear the band (it was playing in the back and I was up front), it wasn't over whelming me. I have eaten places where, no matter where you sit, it's extremely loud, and I appreciated that you had a choice here. Now onto the food: The food should have been doomed to fail; my tastebuds were prepared to eat sweet, buttery, syrupy French toast with a mocktail at brunch elsewhere. But wasn't hyped about the menu because of this (which is not dog and pony's fault .. I had to work and didn't have time to research where else brunch was available). I settled on the umami smashburger by a suggestion of my waitress. Now once again, could have been doomed to fail as I'm not a French fry person and my favorite cheeseburger is one I make on my own. BUT WOW their food blew me away and made me forget all about my brunch let-down. The French fries were fantastic and had a great seasoning on them! The smashburger was great to the last bite .. and I was NOT expecting to finish it as it was a really nice portion (I ate lunch now 10 hours ago and didn't need to eat again it was so filling!) but it was so dang gone good I sure finished it! Smoked cheddar .. chimichuri aioli ... kimchi bacon jam .. oh ya that bacon jam was EVERYTHING!! Thank you to the staff at Dog and Pony for making my long drive worth while!

I ordered the smash burger, my husband ordered the turkey sandwich. After we were waiting for our food for over 25 minutes, the server came over and said that he was just informed they don't have the turkey because they had an issue with that freezer. Ok, so my husband ordered the cheese steak because he was super excited for the bahn mi roll. My smash burger was alright, but the bread they use for their burgers remind me of those cheap buns you get from TOPS that just fall apart. The worst part was that they forgot the dog sauce on my burger, so I asked for the sauce, and THEY CHARGED ME FOR ASKING FOR SAUCE THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO ALREADY BE ON THE BURGER I ORDERED. My husband made sure to tell me after we already left because he knew I would have fought it and our already 1.5 hour long lunch date would have been longer waiting for the refund... He ordered the cheesesteak and the sandwich was so small, and the "bahn mi bun" wasn't even toasted which is a signature for bahn mi bread. He said the flavor was fine but nothing to rave about. The worst part, for me, were the French fries that came with both of our meals. They were soooo heavily peppered that they were inedible. We asked for ketchup to try to make them tolerable, and they gave us a pre-portioned small cup of ketchup... You serve french fries with most of your menu, why isn't there ketchup on the table?!? Overall, It was a nice place to have on senrca street which used to only have the blackthorn and franchescas, but I would not eat here again.

The craziest part about it is that Winfield's Pub is literally just 10 minutes from my House. A conveniently small place that packs big Bold Flavors. Like as you are driving down Ridge Road towards the main Lackawanna area. A place that if you want to enjoy, you'd have to park in front of it or park on the Side Streets of the neighborhood across from it and walk over. After trying out their Food at a Stillwater Farm Dinner consisting or Birria Tacos and Sausage stuffed Chicken Breast. To me that was a nice welcoming Card telling me to come right away instead of wasting more time ignoring the Place. You walk up 3 Steps and in you are greeted by the Owner's wife Sherryl, the Owner and the Head of Winfield's (Tab Daulton) is running the show making sure food gets pumped out of their Small Kitchen. While their son Thomas is at the Bar making Cocktails of the highest Quality with some of the most unique names that I've ever heard. My 1st visit was enjoying a Birthday Dinner with loved ones in the center of the Restaurant. While going over the menu, I had my 1st Cocktail called The Ghostwriter in a tall cylindrical glass that had Gin, Herbal Liqueur, Coconut, Lime, Lemongrass Syrup & Dill. Sweet and Herbaceous. Next up was some Fresh made Focaccia Bread studded with Rosemary, Garlic, Tomatoes and Zucchini that was so Warm and Flavorful like it just came right out the Oven. You know I like to drink Beer and cook with it too, I couldn't help but get myself a cup of their Beer Cheese soup with Bratwurst and Housemade Croutons. Every single Spoonful I took was Rich with a hint of Spicy heat at the end. Next up was a plate off Duck Confit Poutine with Goat Cheese (I opted for that instead of Cheese Curds). You might look at it and see a big globby mess but what I saw and what I ate was pure Gluttonous Heaven. French Fries, bits of Rich and Tender Duck Meat and mild and Tangy Cheese which equaled a comforting Bite. Next was another Cocktail I got called the Dirty Harry (named after one of Clint Eastwood's best-known roles). Another drink that hit hard consisting of Pineapple, Doctor Bird Rum, Boomsa Herbal Liquor and Banana Shrub Jam. While waiting for my main course, I tried some of Nathan's BBQ Pork Belly Burnt Ends. Who doesn't like tender Pieces of Meat with the outside bring Crispy while the Meat inside just melts away on your Tongue. For our Entrees, everyone enjoyed something different like Nathan and Brianna having Seared Chicken with Vegetables, Mike enjoying a Burger, Rick just getting a few Appetizers, Grandma Carol eating Fish Tacos, Jimmy and Kathy enjoying a Steak. While I got myself Seared Scallops over Sweet Corn Risotto with Tarragon. This looked to me and ate like a Summer Dish, why on earth was it on the Menu during close to Fall/Winter, I don't know. But I'll say this, I loved every bite, you get Sweetness from both the Seafood and the Corn with the Tarragon at the end giving it a light hit of Licorice. Thomas kindly gave me a Complimentary Drink while waiting for Dessert called the Legislation #2. It had Rye Whiskey, Dry Vermouth, Orange Cognac and Acidic Phosphate. While it had all those Ingredients, it was a simple looking Drink with a Jurassic sized Ice Cube in it. But I will say this, this drink packed one heck of a Potent Punch. To finish off the Meal, I got myself a big slice of Guinness Chocolate Cake. One of my favorite Beers has been Transformed into a Dessert. It had such a Deep chocolate Flavor with richness from the frosting packed in between each layer. I walked over and personally thank Tab and his Crew for the great Food that night. The only issue we had was waiting to get our Checks, but other than that everything went great. Another one to cross off my list, another restaurant that I will no longer Ignore. Winfield's better be ready for some more Visits from me in the Future. !!!
