Disappointed, Fades to brassy patches in a year. Misleading marketing. I bought this tungsten carbide ring as my husband's wedding band, expecting it to last a lifetime. Tungsten is heavily marketed as "indestructible," which led me to believe the ring would maintain its appearance. Unfortunately, just a little over a year into daily wear, the gold finish has completely broken down, and a brassy color is showing through in large patches. When I contacted customer service about the issue, this was their exact response to me: "With everyday wear, it's normal for that gold plating to gradually wear down over time, especially on a ring that's worn daily. Factors such as exposure to hand sanitizers, soaps, lotions, cleaning chemicals, salt water, perspiration, friction, and frequent contact with hard surfaces can all accelerate the natural wearing of the finish. Based on the age of your ring, which was purchased in April 2025, and the photos you provided, the wear appears consistent with the normal aging of a gold-plated tungsten band. Unfortunately, because the finish is a surface coating rather than solid gold, it is considered a normal wear item and is not typically covered under warranty." Although they offered a discounted replacement, a wedding band is meant to be worn daily, so I'd be stuck in the same place in a year, even with the replacement. If a company's product cannot handle basic everyday activities like washing hands, using soap, or applying hand sanitizer without looking terrible in 12 months, that needs to be explicitly stated upfront on the product page. I never would have bought this ring if they had been honest and transparent from the beginning. Avoid this company if you want a wedding band that actually lasts. read more

Canceled my order last minute, ruined my anniversary gift with no explanation and a week+ delay with no communication

BEWARE this company engages in second party logistics. Meaning that they attempt to sell items that they do not have, and then order them AFTER you put in the order. The website is misleading and appears to indicate item in stock. I put in an order for a simple Casio watch and heard nothing for four or five days. Then I called them and they stated that the watch was on back order and it was definitely available, but I could wait for it., Which I agreed. Then suddenly, my order was canceled when I received an email unexpectedly literally a few hours after I was reassured on the phone. The email said that it was "canceled at my request". I NEVER REQUESTED THE ORDER BE CANCELED. I then called back again, and they told me that the order was canceled because the watch indeed was not available. This was after taking my money in my personal information. I had asked several times because I knew the watch was recently discontinued and was assured that they could get one. The real issue here was how the sales person treated me on the phone after I called back. he was rude and argumentative. I cited the problem with taking peoples money and taking their personal information, and I asked him if I thought this was wrong, and without hesitation, he clearly stated three times that he did not think it was wrong to take peoples money and personal information for items that they did not have, and could not get, because I was "getting a refund" (in 4-5 days!). This shocked me. After I decided that I would be filing a complaint, they sent me an disgenuine email apologizing and offering to provide me a "discount" on another item but laughably, there was no code or any details about how to actually use this discount. Just a sentence in the email. When I sent a second email, of course there was no additional information meaning this email was completely disingenuine only sent to avert a formal complaint. I don't know how in 2025 you would not have live inventory tracking and engage in these type of business practices, taking peoples money and personal information for items that you do not have and cannot get. Went in to look at a Rolex watch in their sales case. A close inspection revealed it to be either a clone or a Frankenstein. I'll be generous and assume they don't have the expertise to know what they are doing. Only buy from trusted sellers... not this establishment. read more

WARNING DO NOT BUY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I went in to get a repair done to a few pieces of jewelry. I was told it would take two weeks and ended up taking six weeks. They are extremely unorganized and the jeweler MJ did not know what type of repairs I needed even after explaining it to the clerk several times. I went back SIX times and when the repair was STILL not completed I asked for my jewelry back. Instead of just giving me back my items, MJ the jeweler came across the counter, got in my face literally chest to chest and tried to fight me! The security guard and an employee had to get him to step back and calm down! I have never had this type of experience at an establishment and was shocked. No communication at all. I ordered a Pandora charm as a graduation gift. They immediately took the money and confirmed the Order on June 1, and advised that it would be shipped. I emailed and received a blank email with only a phone number from Akbar Khan no information. When I called the phone number, I was told the online department was closed and that all they could tell me that it was awaiting shipping. They were rude and not helpful at all. They could not tell me anything else. The Supervisor wanted me to get another charm which I did not want. They took no responsibility for their actions. If they do not have an item available they should not take the money or confirm the order as now they canceled the order. I had received a response from another jewelry that had the item the day after I ordered from this retailer. I would have gotten the item from that store instead. They wasted two weeks of my time and now I am left with no time to get the item anywhere else. The experience is not worthy of any star. read more

I got my wedding ring from Monica Jewelers in June, got married in September, so I've only been wearing the ring for 4 months. One of the diamonds fell out in December. I contacted them to repair it, the guy who does the repairs has an impossible schedule. I contacted them and was told the guy was in that day, drove an hour and a half to drop my ring off, the guy wasn't there. After that I decided to take it to a local jeweler. They inspected it and said there were at least two other diamonds that were about to fall out and it is not a quality made ring. I needed to get my engagement ring resized and appraised; Steve walked me through the process and also recommended that I get my white gold ring re-rhodiumed to increase the shine and restore the color. The resizing and appraisal cost less than a quote I got at another well-rated Katy Jeweler. They were able to do everything right then and it only took about 45 minutes to get it all done. While I waited, my fiance and I chose a wedding ring for him and Steve was helpful with that, too. We got a great price and had it resized on the spot. While we were there, they also took care of removing a link from my fiance's watch. My mom brought her watch in to replace the battery and the jeweler dropped it and broke the face of the watch. They fixed it, however after putting it back together the winding knob to adjust the time completely fell out. When she took the watch back, they were very rude and said, "That was not their problem." The watch was perfectly fine prior to taking it here, she has had the watch for 2 years and has never had a problem with it. It was after they dropped it that it began to have issues.
