It was a little bit of an odd situation for us. Due to circumstances out of our control we arrived in the area about 3:30 pm for a 5:30 pm dinner. What to do for 2 hours. We decided to stop here for some bites and drinks as we were hungry, but didn't want to eat too much. Loved that they had a nice appetizers menu and drink options. Everything came out fast and fresh, made us happy. Ambiance is casual tavern with indoor and outdoor dining. Our server Sierra was very nice and funny, making the experience that much better.

Came in for dinner on a Saturday evening at 6:30, we had reservations and was seated right away. Looked over the drink menu and ordered 1 drink, and it wasn't that good with very little alcohol in it. That's why the 4 star review, otherwise would of been a 5 star establishment. Wood Grilled Octopus was very good and grilled perfectly. The potatoes were tasty. Pork & Beef Meatballs was good tasted great with the hose made marinara. Smoked Deviled Eggs is one of the best I ever had. Skirt Steak with Spinach, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Garlic Butter grilled to perfect medium rare. Ribeye with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus was also grilled to perfection. Overall the food was perfect, but drinks needs a little improvement.

Much better - so much better this visit - we sat outside and the service was really good. Our waitress was helpful with her suggestions..the pizza was fantastic - Italian supreme with arugula on top- it blended in well with the cheese and sausage and tomato - yessss . I had the chicken parm with the pesto sauce on the noodles... sooo good. Get the Brussel sprouts and the meatballs - pork and beef. Mmm add the acme bread... you will be happy you did. I liked it outside . Nice and airy- We were at peace having dinner - I liked it more than last time . We will be back.

Market Tavern has a dark interior and rustic vibe. They have a decent amount of seating, both indoors and outdoors, as well as a bar. I was also surprised they have a little market with to go items, cold entrees, baked goods like cookies, bread, chocolates, etc and lots of cold drinks. I got a cookies and cream dirt cup to go for dessert and it was tasty and reasonably priced at $4.50. I wish they would've had individual cookies (large size), but they only had packs of 4 or 5 each for $9. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot right near the movie theater. Service: server was attentive. Food: I ordered the fish tacos (fried) with side salad. The fish portion was a bit small and a little over done. The tortilla was handmade, but a bit thick. The avocado was fresh, but could've used a bit more pineapple salsa. The side salad was a good portion, but fairly basic and had a lot of citric dressing mixed in. They have a wood fired oven and I probably should've opted for something different like a pizza or other entree, but was trying to find something light.

Enjoyed a good lunch here. Our sever was really nice and helpful. The food was pretty good. I had the chicken parm, and the pesto noodles were soooo good. The pesto was super fresh and the noodles were perfectly al'dente . The chicken needed a little help. It was a huge peice of chicken, but other than the pasta sauce and the cheese on top it was well seasoned. This is the only reason I took off 1 star! My son devoured the pizza, so it was obviously good, as were the fries. Dessert was good. The creme brulee was tasty, the tarimisu was just OK. It looked to be a nice restaurant for families or friends. Ill definitely be back!

This place never disappoints! Love the vibe when you walk in and all the good things they have for sale! They have really good stuff in their little market, pastries, drinks, desserts, food to go! The staff is always a pleasure, friendly, down to earth and on top of everything. The food is mouth watering delicious! Great cooks and great dishes! Everything I have had here is sooo good. Ordered the pork chop and wow it was so tender and juicy full of flavor. Their cornbread appetizer was so moist and soft with a little crisp and the butter it came with was bomb! I always leave here satisfied. One of the top restaurants on my list!

Came here last night for a date night. They are dimly lit but not in a blinding way. Very spacious, lots of tables and had lots of outdoor seating too. We've sat at the bar, and a booth now, and the booth is the perfect height (I'm short). Our server was very professional and nice, although tried to sell us on stuff a little too much. Apparently we went during graduation week so they were super busy, even at 830PM on a wednesday evening...and so they were sold out of their pizza dough. They said this never happens. We got two cocktails, the MIA and a Shinjuku...something one. Both were light and refreshing, bourbon based. We got the fried calamari and I didn't care for the breading. It just fell off too easily. They also padded it with fried artichoke and onions... either list it on the menu, or charge less. My partner got the burger and he loved it. The bun was sooo pillowy soft, had a lot of beefy meaty flavor, and the fries were thin, but not shoestring. Much like McDonalds. A good burger. I wanted something lighter, so I got the fish tacos. I wouldn't recommend. The sauce on the taco didn't add much to the meal. The tortilla felt like it was homemade? It was good. The fish was kinda skimpy for $22 and was fried a little darker then I'd prefer. The side salad that came with it, was just terrible in execution. I know they were trying to be artsy but they literally served whole leaves of lettuce... so I did end up using that as a wrap since I was trying to cut calories anyways but just... no. We never get dessert but got suckered into getting something anyways. We opted for the lemon blueberry bundt cake with regular vanilla ice cream instead of their default vegan version. The ice cream was good, creamy. The cake had a weird texture, it was clunky/chunky(?) instead of like a dense moist cake. I also think it would have been better if it was warm. Our bill came out to like $130.

Came back to Market Tavern last night. Felix, Pat, Jalen and the staff welcomed us with open arms remembering our usual drinks and how we like them on the fly. The food was excellent, prepared and cooked to our likings. It's such a great vibe being here lunch or dinner, the atmosphere has that low lighting, vintage, charming theme to it that never gets old. Thanks again Market Tavern for a wonderful experience. See ya soon again!

Ambiance: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Drinks: 5/5 Price: 5/5 Parking: 4/5 Came by for brunch on a Sunday early afternoon. Erica and Allen took care of us at the bar area, and they were both great. Erica made fantastic cocktails! We had a wonderful time, and will happily come back when we are in the area again!

We've seen this place many times driving by and saw the Yelp reviews were good so we popped in on a Saturday night to try it out. It's on the edge of the shopping center by the theatre so the parking was pretty easy since there are not a ton of shops around it. It's got a slightly upscale but still casual vibe to it, I thought the market area in the front was a unique feature. We were seated immediately and we got into the menu. I ended up ordering the fish tacos with a side of fries, my wife got the king salmon special, and the kiddo got mac and cheese. The fish tacos (2 tacos) were alright, my wife enjoyed her salmon, and the mac and cheese was your basic staple. Decent food but I thought the price point was pretty high. Not sure that I'd come back here again as the food is decent but the value received is not enough to draw me back.

Everytime we come here the food is absolutely Amazing! The staff is always friendly. I highly recommend this place for special occasions or if you just want a delicious meal. I will definitely be back soon. No Doubt.

Review #1,002 Posted on 2.17.26 We came here for Valentines Dinner on Saturday the 14th. I booked a reservation a few weeks back and was able to get a 2 top at 4:45 pm. We got there and were sat immediately. This location is near the IMAX theater at Hacienda Crossings in Dublin. When you come in, they've got a bar area to the left, and a little mini market to the right, it's a unique idea for a restaurant. The market has all kinds of little items for a small area, including an area that's refrigerated to keep items cool, like puddings/desserts. They've got fresh loafs of cornbread or muffin type loafs, sweets, wine, & more. Our server was awesome. He took good care of us. We split the wedge salad and crispy brussel sprouts to start. The brussel sprouts were excellent, they had sliced or slivered almonds I think it was in that recipe too, but for sure one of the better ways I've had that item at a restaurant. My wife got the lobster risotto, I got the ribeye. The ribeye was cooked a perfect medium, and had great flavor, my spinach with it was awesome too. We were a bit too full for dessert but will for sure return.

Got really lucky I made same-day reservations by calling in for a party of 7 on a Saturday night. It was really busy when we got here at 6pm. We tried to order the sea bass from the specials menu and they were sold out already! We ended up with - bone marrow appetizer - good - corn bread appetizer - the Calabrian butter was an interesting pairing to the corn bread. - bowl of clam chowder - biggest let down. flavors wasn't right, didn't like the carrots!! Would not order again - rib eye - we ordered 1 medium well and 1 medium rare. And when the food runners came out, they gave us medium rare and medium. Easy fix, they had put back on the grill and server apologized. Steak turned out good - pork chop - polenta was really good and creamy, pork chop was decent - burger - juicy and fries were good too - rotisserie chicken - this was on the drier side, would not order again - king salmon - salmon cooked right and tasted good with the rice and vegetables - pizza - the pizza held it self together. The crust was nice and crispy - tiramisu - this was rich in espresso and liquor flavor, very delicious! - hot chocolate - pretty decent hot chocolate made in house Overall, our family had a nice time and would come back.

The lox croissandwich was good, however, I asked for tomato because I needed an added flavor profile and the saltiness of the lox made me want more hydration in the bite. I usually don't like capers but today they were fine. Croissant was toasted nicely. Service: excellent. A pretty woman greeted us quickly and because it was such a beautiful day, she was coming out to bring our meals and drinks back and forth. She brought us our drinks. My drink was supposed to be with almond milk but I suspected it may have been regular milk. Although I disclose that I rarely order black sesame; it was very very sweet so I ended up not taking a chance and drinking it. My husband and daughter had vanilla lattes and lemonade with their breakfast bacon sandwich and salad. My daughter wanted to go there again today. (Posting a day later). The ambiance was very nice. I had never been to this downtown area. We were across the street from a really cute historic gas station. Great seating for people watching and enjoying the warming heat of summer on the patio. We sat in the outdoor patio which was perfect as the summer heat was dying down. They also had blankets at the outdoor tables which was a nice touch. We started with the oysters and the Korean melon and cucumber salad. The oyster was light and fresh, and I've never had it paired with a salsa like that before. It didn't really feel like a cohesive bite with the oyster. The melon and cucumber salad had a nice sesame dressing that balanced out the sweet and crunchy bites. I'd skip both of these next time. For our mains we split the radiatori pasta and the steak. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce tasted more like butternut squash instead of sweet corn and tomatoes. It was still good but not quite what we were expecting. The steak was perfectly cooked medium rare and the mashed potatoes and herb butter were the ideal pairings. For our sweet treat, we split the milk and honey, which was a vanilla ice cream topped with honeycomb. This was SOOO good and maybe the best part of dinner. Overall, service was attentive and friendly, the outdoor patio was really nice in the cool summer breeze, and food was pretty good.
