Horrible customer service and potentially a horrible policy. I bought several brand new SEALED…read moregames from GameStop.com and needed to return them. They were 3 brand new Switch 2 games, completely factory sealed and within the return window. An employee named BRYAN, a senior associate there that clearly didn't want to be there evidenced by his bed hair, told me that they could not accept the return because GameStop.com orders have a special return system and needed to be returned to specific stores around the country. That doesn't make sense for a completely unmarked, completely factory sealed game. Even worse, I had talked to GameStop.com customer service before going to the brick and mortar store who told me the returns were all cleared to be done at this particular store. Now I got to call them back, wait another hour to talk somebody and be told the same thing? This is crazy and HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE. If this employee Bryan is incorrect, then he would've wasted one hour of my time to drive to the store, one hour of talking to customer service, and he was simply lazy to do the return himself (there was a line forming behind me). Now I have to repeat this process again and maybe not be able to return this at all? I am canceling everything GameStop from my account and never giving a cent to his store (potentially company) ever again. Everyone should BEWARE heading to this store. Funcoland was the only good game store in this mall and that was like 20 years ago.

So yall sold me a brand new game that doesn't have the original case. Why not just sell it as used…read moreat that point? You guys are a scam and I hope all of GameStop closes permanently because of your horrible business practices. Worst experience ever!

I've been to the store in San Mateo many times and I finally made it to the big store! Note that…read morethe location is a bit odd - it's in an industrial park and signage is very minimal and easy to miss. Google Maps led us to the back of the store so you may need to go around. The store is pretty large and has a lot of keychains, plushies, figurines, Gundam Gunpla, and blind boxes (my kryptonite). I got a Nendoroid blind box (!) of Fate Stay Night. These figures are way more expensive than normal blind boxes but Nendoroids are always very high quality so it's fine! I saw a lot of figures that were really cool and I would consider getting them if I had a good display mechanism at my house haha. They even had MY BOY Heero Yuy from Gundam Wing which is quite rare to see merchandise of!

The only exception is paint, which may need to be specially ordered. If you're looking for high-quality figure models or collectible statues, you'll find some very reasonable prices here. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who loves model building, collectible figures, or creating and painting their own character statues.

I've visited this store about four times now, and unfortunately, each visit left me with the same…read moreimpression. First, the customer service is not great. I don't expect owners or employees to act like best friends with every customer, but basic friendliness goes a long way. A simple greeting, a smile, or even a respectful tone would make a difference. Every time I came in, I tried to say hello with a smile, but I was usually met with cold shoulders, blank looks, or no response at all. I've seen mixed reviews from other people, so maybe experiences vary, but from what I personally noticed, customers seem to be treated differently for reasons I can't quite put my finger on. Second, the language used by the staff/owners was uncomfortable. I brought my nephews with me, and there were also other families with kids in the store. The workers or owners didn't seem shy about throwing around curse words, including f-bombs, in front of everyone. I understand this is not a children's store, but if kids and families are present, it really should not be that hard for grown adults to keep it professional for a few minutes. At one point, I exchanged looks with another parent, and we both clearly felt the same way. Lastly, the pricing is disappointing. They do have some rare figures, but many of them are overpriced even when you factor in shipping from online sellers. The loose figures were also poorly packed and still expensive, which makes them hard to justify. Overall, the prices felt pretty close to eBay, sometimes without the convenience or buyer protection that online shopping offers. Maybe this place is worth checking out if you live in the Bay Area and want to avoid shipping, but based on my visits, I don't see a strong reason to come back. Experiences like this are exactly why online stores continue to thrive.

The location itself was a little tricky to spot since there are no guides or labels outside? They just have a single stand saying the times? Which means they are betting on fans to just come on by and no local interactions like most firms Addressing the inside, it's just a small simple place. Room for events on the bottom if people are into those, and a well organized store on the top? They have official merchandise of various games featuring ZZZ. The prices here are direct and fair so there isn't any price gouging like what is usually seen at Anime Conventions? Plus they have a mini point system based on purchases, I'm eager to see what else can be done with it? At the moment, I am certain this is the only or one of the very few locations to buy this kind of merchandise ( Excluding Conventions ). It must also be mentioned this isn't an Anime goods area, it caters to cultured gamers of specific titles? Just a fun small place to get your official goods of specific "titles."

I'll say it again and again. I always love it when business owners are enthusiasts and lovers of…read morewhat they do, especially if it's something somewhat more "niched" such as an anime/hobby shop. To see the owners here being BIG BIG fans of the titles that they carry is truly heartwarming and shows the dedication that they have for what they do and for what they do for their patrons. Not only is this an anime shop, but the downstairs area is used for community and fandom themed events! LOVE this. It's always amazing when there is a space dedicated for fans to convene together and share the things that they love. When I visited last winter, the space was dedicated to Tears of Themis and each "section" was decorated, curated, and themed very carefully to each male love interest which shows not only dedicated effort, but the fact that the people who set it up are familiar with the series. Cannot get better than that. AND I HAVE TO SAY, even though the shop is only the second floor, it is HANDS DOWN the LARGEST selection and variety of HoYoverse and YoStar series goods that I have seen in SoCal. Hell, might even be a bigger selection than if you combined SoraGumi, Sakura Anime Toys, Anime Station, Animate, etc. There were SO MANY Arknights good it was insane. Some of them were event limited items too. They had these huge acrylics of the characters and artbooks and so many more than I have seen elsewhere. It was also blind boxes galore for character tags, keychains (some blind box series were for only ONE character- it was W here which is a huge W), and much more like stickers and plushies. Stickers I haven't seen elsewhere and plushies in limited stock at other shops. If you are into any of the HoYoverse series such as Genshin, Honkai, Zenless Zone Zero etc. There is rows and rows of merchandise for that including and not limited to stickers, keychains, acrylics, plushies, accessories, bags, and so much more. They also had the biggest collection of Tears of Themis items too. I usually only see ToT stuff at most be acrylic stands, some stationary, keychains, and maybe a plushie or a perfume thing, but they had WAY more here, including birthday boxes for each of the boys, blankets, calendars, albums, cheki storage and so much more. Additionally, hands down, the MOST Azur Lane merchandise I have seen for sale physically in person too. And a note to add, the owners were such big fans they made the trek to SoCal to go to the maid cafe collab event? If that's not a showing of their dedication and love for what they do, I'm not sure what is. But back to the review, they had stuff I haven't seen before such as blankets, calendars, and drinkware. Other series that they have available are Wuthering Waves, Infinity Nikki, and for all you GIRLIES OUT THERE, LOVE AND DEEP SPACE! They even recently had a LaDS (cat boy??) themed event there too, complete with cardboard cut outs for photos. They also do preorders for goods too, which is very nice. I can't say I'm the biggest fan of these series but it is DEFINITELY worth a stop if you are in the Bay Area.

A quick search online quickly pointed towards getting the IGLA PIN code system and Sound innovations is a nearby authorized dealer. Make the call talk to the Boss man Ernie and he laid every detail in front of me in extreme depth. He answered all my follow up questions and was able to get me an appointment asap! I mean this guy is an expert! I asked and I received. Ernie's installer Geo was equally as impressive and clearly has an immense amount of knowledge and experience working in this field. At the end of the install during demonstration, we discovered a fault in the device itself. The Bluetooth was unable to connect to any phone. So be sure you test every single feature if you pull the trigger. Geo, being the amazing worker he is, was able to replace the faulty unit in about an additional 1.5 hours or so. The boss man Ernie was sure to discount me for the extended time. Mind you, this was not their fault, just a bad unit from manufacture. A few weeks later I decided to take it to the next level and get Compustar T13 with drone. During all this time, Ernie is merely a text away through his business' messaging system and is extremely responsive. This job went extremely smooth and I went home on time. Unfortunately, the trunk release stopped working the following day. Sound innovations came to my home to diagnose the issue. They were unable to fix it but I returned another day and they were able mend the trunk issue in like 20 minutes. Regarding IGLA System... get it! Get it! Get it! I'm like an American 007 with my secret code. It Blocks access to odb (the way they steal it) and the car won't move if turned on some other way. Takes practice to learn how to use it properly but feels like it was worth every penny. Regarding Compustar with drone. You need this because these loser thieves will go as far as pushing or towing your vehicle. This system will alert you if someone shocks, tilts, or breaks the glass. It also performs as an additional immobilizer. GPS Tracking on drone mobile is great, remote control through cellular amazing. Regarding price.... You get what you pay for. You're not only paying for the product but also for the reliable service, expertise, and peace of mind provided by knowing guys like Ernie and Geo are taking care of your baby.
