We came here after hiking at Fullerton Loop. The on-site parking lot is small and tight. Luckily, there is street parking. The cafe is spacious and clean. I like the colorful murals. Ordering is done at the counter. Food came out really fast, which was great since we were hungry. I really enjoyed my matcha green tea latte. My friend liked her Nutty Monkey waffles too. I appreciated the large portions. My Breakfast Skillet was meh. First off, they topped it with scrambled eggs when I had asked for over-easy. They fixed it by making me new eggs. The whole meal was just bland, not flavorful. In addition, they charge for salsa and Pico de gallo. Of course, I wouldn't pay, so that didn't help the dish. Overall it was a cute place and serve our purpose.

Instead of toast, I upgraded my side to a Roy's Ricotta Pancake

This seems to be a very a chill, casual place. There's parking in the back, as well as street parking. They hand you menus when you walk in & tell you it's open seating. When you're ready to order, you go to the counter to order & pay. The food was good, hazelnut latte was tasty, service was fast & pretty friendly. I met a friend there to catch up & they let us sit there for a couple hours - We were aware & made sure no one needed our table though! The oddest thing happened... a guy came in, ordered & sat down. I can only guess that he just worked out cuz, as he was waiting for his food, he put his foot up on top of the backrest of a dining chair & proceeded to massage his leg with a massage gun. Then of course did the other leg. Oh and while doing so, he played music from his iPhone very loudly, to cover up background music playing in the restaurant. -- Is this what people are doing now?

Had breakfast on Friday with my wife. The Food was great and the service was friendly and efficient. We have been here before and will be back for a meal when we are back in the area

Fullerton staple!! This is a quaint place, really precious! The menu offers a variety of great options! My favorite item are the Chilaquiles, they're truly delicious! Parking can be a little tight during busy hours but there is available street parking.

This place has been a staple for me since it first opened. Today the service was really welcoming. We chose where to sit and ordered at the front, and the friendly waitresses came by occasionally to refill our coffees and waters. I got the breakfast bowl, which was delicious and a pretty good portion of food. My mom got the biscuits and gravy, which came out slightly burnt and she thought the biscuits were too sweet. The hashbrowns were also too greasy for her. However, the egg turned out perfectly and the gravy was tasty. Overall, it was a nice experience for a quieter neighborhood brunch spot. It's cute inside, clean, and has a quirky, local vibe.

Monkey Business Cafe has a comfy and homey vibe that feels like a local favorite spot. This cafe is perfect for being productive or for relaxation. I visited twice on weekdays. Both times were calm with plenty of seating. You order at the register and seat yourself. Staff are friendly and helpful. I tried the Chilaquiles ($16), Breakfast Tacos ($16), and Chicken Tortilla Soup ($13). The Breakfast Tacos were my favorite -- you get two big tacos with egg, chorizo, cilantro, cheddar cheese, plus seasoned potatoes and black beans on the side. Their website mentions that they make their food from scratch whenever possible, and you can tell with the potatoes. The seasoning was perfect. The potatoes tasted fresh and homemade with the skins left on which I loved. All dishes tasted good and were shareable portions though everything could have used more warmth. The cafe sits next to a neighborhood. The parking lot is small but street parking is available as well.

My friends and I enjoyed a delicious brunch here! the employees and really friendly, and despite being super crowded on a Saturday morning - our party of 6 was seated quickly. Very cute and cozy environment! You order at the counter and then the food is delivered to you. Our meals were a reasonable size, and came out fast as well. The only downside is that there only seems to be street parking, which can be a struggle on weekends.

Key Notes: - Quick Service - Use street parking - Great Food I ordered the Chilaquiles, Avocado Toast, and Banana Walnut Pancakes The Chilaquiles were very good, crunchy chips with flavorful salsa that had a nice kick to it. I had no complaints on this dish I would recommend to order this. The Avocado toast was a bit pricey but I was very good. The egg was cooked to perfection and there was a good amount avocado. I would also recommend to order this. The pancakes were pretty similar to most places, but overall they were good and a nice size. I wish it had more banana slices though. I am giving this place a four star instead of a five because we had to go flag down and employee for a refill on our drinks. We basically ate our whole meal without a drink. The Service was super quick, the staff is friendly, and it seems like everything on the menu is delicious. The ambiance is casual and The parking is very minimal, so just use the nearest street parking right infront of the restaurant. Overall this would be a good option for your next brunch

Great service! Pleasantly surprised by how attentive the staff were. Food came out very fast also! You walk in and order at the counter. Seat yourself in the dining area. They give you a number, and they bring the food to your table. I wanted to try a bit of everything at this cafe. We stuck with mostly breakfast items and one lunch/ dinner item. All were delicious. French Toast 10/10 The French Toast was fantastic! It tasted so good. The bread was cooked well and nice, thick slices. It was dusted with powdered sugar and topped with fresh fruits. The fruits were very good on top. I splashed some syrup on this, and it was a great breakfast. Biscuit and Gravy Breakfast 10/10 My husband loved this so much. He kept raving about the gravy and biscuits. You get a huge biscuit lol My husband is so picky about gravy and judges a breakfast cafe by how well they do their gravy. He was impressed. That's a win lol Nachos 10/10 These were great! Fantastic chips, they were freshly made. The queso cheese is absolutely addicting!!! We were licking that off the plate lol It was so good and cheesy. Loved the nachos. The black beans and tomatoes were very good. Just needed some guacamole. Would order that again! Side of two eggs 7/10 The eggs were cooked all the way through. The eggs tasted a bit slimy. I wasn't a fan. I wanted sunny side up eggs, but they were just not cooked enough. Side of avocado 7/10 It was brown in color and had a mushy texture. It didn't taste well either. Not good. I get it through; avocado can be ripe one minute and brown the next lol Side of hash brown 10/10 Huge plate of hash! It was cooked really well. Crispy on the top and greasy. Delicious hash brown! I'd order that again. Overall, wonderful experience. We will be back! :)

I have mixed feelings about the service, but the food was delicious! The first lady to take my order seemed in a rush with how fast she was taking my order, even though no one else was in line, and the other customers were already done eating. I felt a little frazzled and couldn't get my order right. After that, she was nice when bringing out our food. Later on, a younger staff member came and she was fantastic and friendly. I got the traditional breakfast and green tea latte. The food was definitely filling! The green tea was alright; it wasn't as sweet as I'd like. Overall, the place was very cute and spacious, and I like the mismatched furniture which adds to the charm.

We came here for breakfast. It's a cute little cafe. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. They do check on you but I don't really like this method. If they check on you and bring you water and condiments and food then I feel like they should just take your order at your table. We ordered the chicken and waffles. This comes with hot honey maple sauce and breaded chicken. Served over 2 house made waffles. Pretty good! We also ordered the biscuit and gravy breakfast which came with 2 eggs your way, hash browns, housemade Discur topped with country gravy. This was just okay to me. For myself... I have a slight obsession with omelets so I got the Veggie Omelette which came with Spinach, portobello mushrooms, red onions, and Monterey cheese. I got the hash brown as a side. I also got sourdough toast. This was really good! I love all the veggies! Their hash browns is super good! Very crispy which I like. For coffee, we got caramel macchiato... this was just okay. Their portions are good sizes and I do like their food. Not sure I will be back because there are other breakfast places I like better! All in all.... it was a good experience.

Saw this place on tik tok and decided to come and try it out. Their mission statement is so touching.! The food was alright. For the price it is what it is. On the other hand, the drinks were amazing! I got a dirty chai and loved it!

Came here on a Sunday morning and it was a little busy. It's located near a neighborhood but they do have a small parking lot otherwise you'll have to park on the street. When you come in you order first then take a seat. Servers were very attentive. The food was pretty good. I got the traditional breakfast and biscuit and gravy. I felt like the biscuit was kind of tough and the pancake was okay. They also serve lunch as well and it's a nice place to meet with friends and family for brunch.

    No.

Are they open? Are they having dining?

They're only open for take out currently

Yes they are, and some of the produce is grown without pesticides at CSUF by the foster boys.

Yes! We do have specials featuring our produce that is organically grown at our farm at the Fullerton Arboretum when we are fully operational. Currently we have an amazing Vegan Chili. Avocado Toast is new on the menu as well. Stay tuned by…

Is this a good place to work/study?

It can be loud during breakfast hours on the weekends because of how busy it can get. I like the tables and chairs used though, feels like your at home.

Went there about 2 weeks ago and they were open!

It was amazing the first time I tried it, and somehow it's just as good every single time I go. The cheese foam on top isn't too sweet, salty, or heavy. It's smooth and creamy, but it doesn't overpower the coffee at all. And the cookie that comes with it? Dip it into the cheese foam. So, so good. The coffee itself isn't too sweet or bitter. The latte is just really clean, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Tiramisu coffee can sometimes be way too sweet and heavy, but this one is nothing like that. That's why I always order two. I drink the first one there, nice and slow. A little cookie dipped in the cheese foam, a sip of coffee, another bite, another sip. I mean, I drove all the way from LA to Fullerton. Why would I rush it? And the second one? That one comes back to LA with me. Because I need it for that wonderful 5 Freeway traffic. When traffic starts getting ridiculous and I can feel myself getting annoyed, I take a sip of my Tiramisu Coffee and think, "Okay... it's fine. Just take your time." And suddenly life is a little better. So yes, I always order two. One is for happiness. The other is to keep me from losing my mind on the 5 Freeway. Maybe I'm a little crazy for driving from LA to Fullerton just for a cup of coffee. But honestly, the coffee that keeps making me do that might be even crazier. But then again, I might miss having my Tiramisu Coffee there to calm me down on the 5 Freeway.
