We were concerned when we arrived because the bay doors were closed and there was only one car in the parking lot. I had also booked an inspection via the website the week prior, but my appointment was canceled due to the technician not working during the time I scheduled it. (This issue was resolved, and they squeezed me in the next day.) We arrived 15 minutes early and saw that the employee working the front counter was sleeping in a chair directly across from the main entrance. My husband and I talked for a few minutes, hoping to wake him up, but he remained asleep. Eventually, my husband walked closer and said "excuse me" a few times--still no response. At that point, we were genuinely concerned for his well-being. After raising his voice slightly, my husband finally woke him. He asked if anyone else was there, and we told him no. (The bay doors were closed, and we weren't about to go through a door labeled "employees only.") He half-heartedly blamed "PJ" for us not being helped, but it was clear he was the one responsible for the front desk. Once he found PJ--who was literally just in the back of the shop--PJ quickly got to work. It took him about 10 minutes to find and patch the leaky tire. We spent more time waiting for the receptionist to wake up than we did getting the actual repair done. Overall, we were disappointed with the customer service but very thankful for PJ. We will not be returning or recommending this location to anyone. My suggestions: 1. Replace the employee who was sleeping at the counter. 2. Fix the website so that: * Appointments can only be booked during timeframes when the correct technician is available. * Booked appointments appear properly on the employee side, so that even if someone is napping, they have a chance to wake up before the customer walks in.

Yes, they are more expensive than other places. But you can drive up without an appointment, get…read moreyour oil changed without having to get out of your car, and drive off in just a few minutes. That's why you're paying extra. Also, they only do a few things. An oil change, an air filter, wiper blades....They don't overhaul engines, they don't do AC repair, they don't sell tires. So when you go there to get an inspection, if something is going to fail, you know it's because it failed and not because they are trying to get more money out of you. (Not that all places do that, but you have piece of mind that it's not being done here.)

Since then every-time i go I'm stuck waiting for an inspection or told the inspector went home so no inspections the rest of the day. Isn't the whole point of valvoline to be able to pull in get your vehicle serviced and be out in a timely manner? Maybe i was just lucky the first few times i went and was able to catch the right time to get an inspection and oil change. I could have just made and appointment somewhere else if i wanted to wait an hour for stuff to get done.
