1 star for the guy at the counter, 5 stars for the mechanic. My husband made an appointment a few days in advance for 5 PM. We were concerned when we arrived because the bay doors were closed and there was only one car in the parking lot. I had also booked an inspection via the website the week prior, but my appointment was canceled due to the technician not working during the time I scheduled it. (This issue was resolved, and they squeezed me in the next day.) We arrived 15 minutes early and saw that the employee working the front counter was sleeping in a chair directly across from the main entrance. My husband and I talked for a few minutes, hoping to wake him up, but he remained asleep. Eventually, my husband walked closer and said "excuse me" a few times--still no response. At that point, we were genuinely concerned for his well-being. After raising his voice slightly, my husband finally woke him. He asked if anyone else was there, and we told him no. (The bay doors were closed, and we weren't about to go through a door labeled "employees only.") He half-heartedly blamed "PJ" for us not being helped, but it was clear he was the one responsible for the front desk. Once he found PJ--who was literally just in the back of the shop--PJ quickly got to work. It took him about 10 minutes to find and patch the leaky tire. We spent more time waiting for the receptionist to wake up than we did getting the actual repair done. Overall, we were disappointed with the customer service but very thankful for PJ. We will not be returning or recommending this location to anyone. My suggestions: 1. Replace the employee who was sleeping at the counter. 2. Fix the website so that: * Appointments can only be booked during timeframes when the correct technician is available. * Booked appointments appear properly on the employee side, so that even if someone is napping, they have a chance to wake up before the customer walks in. read more

I cannot be grateful enough for the service that I got today on a flat tire. Craig, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure my tire was checked and fixed. I was driving through town for work in a rental car- so not the best situation- and he and the team were so supportive and also friendly. When my car developed a horrible noise in the rear end while traveling on the thruway I got off at the next exit and picked the closest auto shop. I'm very grateful I picked Dunn tire with Craig and his crew. Their customer service was great and even though they were busy they fit me in. It turned out it was a simple problem that was corrected quickly and inexpensively. My car is older and it wouldn't have been surprising if it had been a major repair. They were honest and treated me fairly even applying a coupon towards my cost. From what I saw the teamwork is great and everyone pitches in to get the job done and the customer on his way as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality and safety. I would recommend the Batavia Dunn Tire to everyone. I just wish they were closer to my home and not over an hour away. They would definitely have my regular business. read more

We went here all the time until they gouged two of my six brand-new rims. They lied and said they could not have done it. They also waited until they were done to tell me they could not balance them, but charged me for it. I had to run all the way to Brockport to have them balanced. We have twelve vehicles and were in here all the time. Never again. read more

The manager and staff are very helpful and informative. This place was recommended by a friend and I see why. We used an app that took forever to pay for our winter tires and the manager and staff were so friendly and accommodating. They called the apps customer service for me and tried to speed the process up. While we waited we had coffee, water and ate our breakfast in the cozy waiting room. The service took less than 40 minutes, but the app that paid for my tires took an 1 hour on top of that. They were very understanding.My bf and I will be back for other car services in the future. Tires are expensive, and I called Mavis (the new place) for prices. The guy on the phone was so accommodating that I went there without having the price quoted. They were awful. See my review on them... As I left I saw Dunn Tire across the street. The guy at the desk was very helpful. I bought tires there, for less than Mavis. They got me right in... Within 30 minutes and I was clearly an unexpected customer. I'd definitely recommend them. read more

Took my car to get a belt fixed..after they had my car for 3 hours they call me and say they can't fix it and they don't k ow what size belt it takes so if I buy one and bring it in they will do the work..so I did I went and bought a belt and returned when I arrived I was told by the sales rep the mechanic didn't want to work on my car "they don't like messing with other people's work" and there "was something going on" with my car they basically don't want business unless it's something they feel like doing this place is a joke read more

I wouldn't go here for anything other than tires. They did a great job balancing my tires on my old pickup truck. They are the same model of tire I had, but I'm experiencing a smoother drive, less road noise, and increased fuel economy. Great work for a reasonable price. read more
