It was the day before thanksgiving and I went to two other places before coming here. The first shop wanted me to wait over an hour. The second said I had to make an appointment for another day. I called Monrovia Tires and they said they had normal business hours and could patch my tire. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. They prioritize larger orders over smaller ones. I went for a simple less expensive flat tire repair service and was the first person there when they opened. They said it would be quick but it took over an hour waiting for this simple service. Others that came in after me were serviced quicker. I walked around the parking lot looking into the bag and my car was sitting there with the tire sitting next to it untouched for about 30 minutes. I was patient but getting frustrated with their lack of urgency to finish the first car there. When I finally got my car back they said it had two nails but only charged for one. I looked at the invoice and there was no mention about it. I wouldn't complain here but this is the second time they did this to me and used the same excuse. They previously told me they had found two nails but only charged for one. In other words, don't complain for the long service wait time. Better off going somewhere else for flat service. read more

I had a flat tire that needed to be patched or replaced. I gave these guys a call and they said no worries and to come on by. I went and had no wait at all. Pulled up and they were able to find the hole, patch it up for a great price and I was out in 20 minutes. Very disappointed. I pulled up at 4:35 to get a tire. Just to be told they're closed. I asked him, but it says you close at 5? He said sorry we stop taking customers at 4:30 so we can clean up and go home by 5. Really?? How long does it take to put on a new tire? Never again, will I go back to this place. I called to ask about price and availability of tire I need. The manager confirmed that he has in stock and it take about 1 hour. I arrived 15 mins later and waited in line for exactly 26 minutes and being the first in line. Then he told me it will take now 1.5 hours plus additional work. I do not recommend the store read more

Ask for Jim! He is awesome and very friendly. I came in to get a tire repaired for my wife's car. They were busy but were able to fit me in and get me on my way within 20 minutes. I highly recommend this place for thier professionalism, service, cleanliness of their shop (shows pride) and the location is pretty good (easy to find). I got a little carried away rocking out to Van Halen's Greatest Hits and rammed right into a curb, hence needing a new tire. I called around today from work and finally came across Monrovia Tire. They had a slightly (practically brand new) used tire that matched the rest of my tires, all fairly new, and sold me the sucker installed and all for $40.00!!! Drove on over on my lunch break, he didn't try to ream me with a bunch of things that "I had to have done". After my tire was installed, all while on my lunch break and with time to get a sandwich, he (David) made a few helpful suggestions for some maintenance choices I should consider, and I have to say I was thoroughly pleased with the level of quality, service, and honesty that I was provided with at Monrovia Tire. Possibly my best experience ever at an automotive place. I pulled in to tell them that I had a slow leak in my tire and they were jacking up the car almost faster than I could get out of the car. $15 and 20 minutes later, I was on my way. This is my second time going to Monrovia Tire Company. Both times I've had excellent service. The first time my tire needed a patch, it was done in no time, I was even told to come back monthly for air at no change. Everyone there is so nice, from the gentleman that helped me to the lady that worked in the office. I appreciate that kind of customer service especially because they always seem to be busy when i go. Today I went because my car tire pressure light came on. It was a busy friday so I asked if I could come back in an hour as I was on a break from work and 3 cars were ahead of me. I didn't catch the guy's name but he was really nice and said that would be best. When I returned, he was busy with another car but asked if I could wait 5 minutes, no big deal and it didn't even take that long. Anyways, he checked my tires, all four and they seemed to need very little air. I was worried because I'm pretty sure I ran over glass last night but he said it could be because of the change in weather, the tires expanding. Honestly I don't know but he said if I had problems to come back. There was no charge! Most places would have charged me something for just putting air. They already had me as a lifetime customer who will tell all her friends, which i have. I just appreciate not being nickel and dimed. I'm going to watch the tires over the weekend and if I need a new tire, I will buy from these guys. I know I'll get a fair price and good customer service. read more

After calling a few other places and getting quotes of $100 to $150 PER TIRE (which sounded way too expensive to me) I called this place to get one last quote. $150 for both tires! The guy who helped me (David) was a very honest man, never tried to jip me into buying something I didn't need and gave great advice.
