    Roasted Oolong Milk Tea
    Alisa B.

I guess you could say my iced roasted oolong milk tea was PreTea average... There was very little oolong flavor and lacked that smokey roasted taste as well. Tasted more like jasmine milk tea honestly. It didn't taste bad, but wasn't what I was expecting. It was also a bit watered down. On the other hand, the staff here is very friendly and my drink came out very quick! Definitely not a bad option at the BG Food Cartel, but I wouldn't recommend the roasted oolong.

No complaints here. PreTea is the boba cart located in BG's Cartel. It's just about exactly what you'd expect across the board - cost in line with other boba carts, mostly the same menu options and range of flavors, friendly enough staff, quick when they're not busy with a bit more wait time if they've got a lot of orders. If you want boba with your meal at BG's, it's your go to!

The milk tea here is NOT good! Take it from someone who used to work in a boba tea shop. The taste is off and is definitely nowhere near authentic. In addition, the "smoothies" are basically snow cones in liquid form (syrup + ice) without actual fruit. I was unimpressed by the flavor and price - at $6 for a beverage, I expect at least a base level of quality which was clearly missing. On the plus side, they get your orders out really quickly, and the cart itself looks relatively clean. Pro Tip: Avoid the roasted oolong and slushees (unless you're okay paying for slushed syrup).

Original with boba. Oolong with half sweet.

I got the Oolong milk tea with half the sweetness. I personally like the original one more. The oolong flavor was so-so, just probably a different type of tea and I personally wasn't a huge fan of it. I prefer their original milk tea. My friend got one with boba and she said that it was mushy.

Every food cart pod needs a dedicated bubble tea cart. PreTea did not disappoint! They have a small selection of "premium" teas and I'm so happy they offer iced genmaicha! While not mentioned on the drink board, you can ask them to control the sweetness. I always shoot for "25% sweetness". They aced it! One size cups only and I appreciate that it wasn't packed full of ice. They also have syrup slushies if you're looking for something fruitier. When I went it was a bit of a wait, I think they didn't expect the Saturday sunny day crowds. Constant stream of people coming up to the cart. Add another worker and things should go smoother.

Boba with various toppings and forms as in milk teas, smoothie, and slushie. You can add I think up to 3 toppings for an extra charge as it comes with two which is a plus compared to other boba places. They have popping bubbles which is the same that you find from froyo places, which I haven't seen at other boba shops too. The prices start at $4.65 which is a bit odd but the drinks were good. Even on a cloudy day there were quite a few people getting boba but the service was fast and the employee was very nice in answering the questions we had. I didn't know you could control the sweetness as it would be nice to know beforehand. A great spot to the food cartel and hope to try other flavors

Came here yesterday after eating a late lunch. My friends went to the Ruby Jewel cart (yes, there is one in the BG food carts in Beaverton). I opted to try this place as I was thirsty. I ordered the Roasted oolong milk tea with boba at a 25% sweetness. The drink did its job. The milk tea was not too heavy and had a nice taste. I liked that the 25% sweetness was light and did not actually taste sweet at all (personal preference). Ther boba was nice and chewy. I will have to try some of the other items here next time I visit these carts.

Got a Jasmine milk tea with boba and a Thai tea with boba and both were under flavored. Tasted more like water.

When we visited a couple of weeks ago in May, the themed drinks were Lord of the Rings and Mario. I had the Gondor, which, if I recall, may have had hazelnut and cinnamon. I DO recall that it was delish. I forgot what drink my daughter ordered, but she enjoyed it as well. I look forward to coming back and trying their London Fog, which is one of my favorite drinks and seems to have significant praise from other reviewers. We didn't get an opportunity to try the food, but look forward to in the future. One refreshing surprise is that this is a no-tip establishment. I don't recall what I paid for the drinks, but I appreciate places that charge what they need to make their business work and to (hopefully) pay their employees a living wage. Brickhaus is rooted in community and belonging, and I am here for it!

The breakfast burrito was also delicious. I added sausage, Guac, and mushrooms. It would've been a 10/10 if left off the mushrooms. The burger tasted precooked, not a lot of flavor, just ok. The fries were fresh and hot, and seasoned perfectly. Another good experience at this incredible sneaker-themed coffee shop not too far from Nike. Definitely go for the coffee, you'll love it.

I've tried both the ube coconut latte and the black sesame latte, each made with plant-based milk instead of regular milk. The ube coconut latte was smooth, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. The black sesame latte, however, was the standout for me. It had a rich, nutty flavor and is hands-down my favorite of the two. I don't believe it's a regular menu item, so if you happen to see it, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Loro is on the pricier side, which is why I don't visit as often as I'd like, but I genuinely think it's worth it. The quality of the food and drinks makes it feel like a special treat. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is the parking. The café is tucked between apartments and other retail spaces, so street parking is your only option. I've had to circle the block several times before finding a spot, making it less convenient if you're driving. Parking aside, this is a charming neighborhood coffee shop that consistently serves flavorful food and thoughtfully crafted drinks.
