They have a significant number of nitro taps for some fun exploration of different kinds of drinks. Great service, unique coffee options to add Moroccan spices. Overall very happy whenever I visit this location. What happened to this place? New ownership? The menu was bizarre, Moroccan spice everything, for coffee? Or tea? $5 for a small Americano, that's 2 shots of espresso and hot water. It was just ok. I added cocoa powder to the coffee at the counter and spilled a little on the counter. Looked all around the store and there wasn't a napkin anywhere to be found. Tea and coffee were excellent and the presentation in a teapot on a silver tray made it special. The staff was attentive and obviously proud of the Moroccan culture represented. This was my first time coming to Ovation. I had the Vanilla Latte, I would say this is probably the best one that I've tasted so far. It's very vanilla but not too sweet. For food I had the supreme biscuit. It was very yummy and perfect for a breakfast sandwich. The service was nice and hospitable. It's worthy of a standing ovation. read more

The last couple times my manager has offered drinks from Ovation, I had gotten distracted. Once I was volunteered to go pick the orders up, but I got too busy and someone else did it. This morning was difficult. My manager offered as soon as she walked in. I was the first one to accept. I just got the basic. I think it was a mocha freeze. Wasn't a milkshake and it wasn't one of those "Fraps" from that other coffee place. It was kinda a coffee flavored ICEE. Nothing too fancy, but exactly what was needed. I was a huge fan of the Marylhurst location when it first opened and decided to try this location one morning when I was in the Mercado Grove area.this side of town and The service is horrible, not even a smile from the person at the counter and she seemed very put out having to wait on me. There didn't seem to be any communication between the counter and the barista and no one working behind the counter. Seems very happy to be there. My coffee was mediocre at best and I left feeling as if I would've been better off going to Starbucks. As a sidenote, the service and quality of everything except the scones has declined dramatically at the Marylhurst location. Perhaps there has been a change in ownership/management? Their pistachio latte was superb. Also had the iced guava Moroccan tea and it was delicious. Right amount of sweetness and flavor. I was actually shocked by their prices, other local coffee shops life been charged me $6 for an 8oz speciality latte, the pistachio latte was $6 for a large. Staff was wonderful and nice. Stopped by here while waiting for Oven&Shaker. Tried their Moroccan Lavender Matcha w/oat milk, Moroccan Pistachio latte w/oat milk, and Moroccan Chai latte. The lavender matcha was really good but toward the end felt a bit too sweet. Would ask for 1/2 sweet next time. The Pistachio latte was right on. So good and definitely a recorder. Compared to the two drinks, the chai latte was just okay/normal. If you only ordered the chai latte and didn't compare it with the other drinks then the chai latte is super good. Just the other 2 drinks outshined this one. Looking forward to going back again to try other things on the menu. read more

Came here for an afternoon pick me up. I asked the barista what their popular drinks are so I ordered one of them, the Moroccan Pistachio Latte. It had a nice nutty flavor from the pistachio and spices to balance. It was not very sweet, which was great for me. I got it with oat milk and the milk complimented the pistachio. Love the coffee and the food, if not for the auditory issues this would be our favorite coffee shop in the area, and that's the reason for docking one star. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This particular location is in a concrete space with only hard surfaces everywhere with no soft surfaces or sound deadening at all. Been here a few times and never really had a great experience. Probably won't be back. A little tucked away - not very visible from the street - but so happy to have stumbled upon it. This little gem tucked away in marylhurst is serving up delicious coffee, lattes and teas. A lot of the lattes have these unique Moroccan spices that make it so much more flavorful then the burnt and bland Starbucks options. I have had the pistachio latte and it's delicious, the lavender matcha - amazing and my go to is the Moroccan vanilla latte. Even the drip coffee is a step up from the rest. I've only ordered a few non drink options and all have exceeded expectations. Don't even try to leave here without a scone, you will regret it. She really went above and beyond for me and I truly appreciated it! Good coffee and friendly service! I especially enjoy their freshly baked scones and Morrocan biscuits for a quick pick me up. The paninis are also delcious and perfect for lunch. For the drinks my husband and I love their Pistaschio lattes and Chai iced teas. The staff is always so welcoming and informative about all the coffee and teas they offer. Their menu features a number of beverages with Moroccan spices. I decided upon the Moroccan dirty chai latte, iced with oat milk. My husband chose the red velvet blended. It used to be great. Then the managers changed. We had been coming here weekly for 2 years and my daughter loved her breakfast sandwich and milk.
