The coffee and the people! Both really good and sometimes I'm a jerk about both those things lol. Really kind and helpful while the coffee is roasted at their main store not far away so it's really tasty. Grace helped me out and understood the coffee to talk about what I would like best from their roasts. Also some nice stickers and local touristy things to shop. Took this Mayhem Bar with me to ride up Going to the Sun Rd on my bike. It was phenomenal. I let it get just a little warm in my jersey pocket and it was a heavenly snack. I ordered the best version of my typical coffee order. Stopped bye on the way to the nearby national park. My wife and I swung bye for a quick breakfast and coffee. I didn't know I was about to be ruined for my normal coffee order. I got the best version of my Caramel Haze breve I have ever had. One of our favorite things to do when traveling is try local coffee shops. We saw a few Montana Coffee Traders locations and decided to pop in! We ordered our go to of an iced vanilla latte. Team iced coffee no matter the weather! It was one of the best coffees we had during our trip. The staff was really friendly and even let us know that there was a "Texas Coffee Traders" back home! We went here two different times! Both times - there was a line so must be a popular no matter what day. You order at the counter and if you dine in, you get a number to go sit down so they can bring the food to you. The first time, I did a breakfast burrito. You get a choice of protein or avocado. I got the avocado. It was a tasty burrito with plenty of cheese. They must've fried the potato well because they had a good crunch inside my Burrito which I love the different texture. The salsa was good but I used the array of hot sauces they had on the table. The second time, I went outside to sit on their outdoor patio space. I got the breakfast sandwich with both bacon and avocado. I had to get the bacon when I saw it the first day - it's well done and I love that!! The old pine cafe is still standing without the 300 year old ponderosa pine tree going through the roof. More than a cafe. MCT is winning me over the more and more I stop here. The first time I stopped here was in the fall when it was all of tourists like me. The wait was long, the coffee was ok. It was a needed stop on the way into GNP. The second time I stopped here was in the late fall when all the tourists were gone but I luckily have a friend who lives in C Falls with a place for me to stay and MCT isn't too far from her. We got some pastries to go with my standard Americano and all was right in the world. The pumpkin curry scone was heavenly and so was the donut cake! Hmmm, maybe I shouldn't trust first impressions. The third time? SOLD. It was a Sunday morning, we ordered actual breakfast and sat down and took in the atmosphere. I got a standard breakfast complete with eggs, potatoes, bacon and toast and it hit the spot. We stopped by here on the way to Glacier National Park. I really liked the space, and they also sold arts and crafts by local artists. We were in a rush so we only ordered drinks, but they had some good sounding breakfast items. This cafe was pretty busy, I am assuming with both locals and tourists. We ordered regular coffee, and Orange cardamom latte. I truly enjoyed this latte because it was one of the first time I actually tasted both orange and cardamom in a well balanced way. Def a huge fan of this place. We came here 3x in 4 days and the coffee is by far tops with excellent and friendly staff happy to answer your questions and make recommendations if you aren't quite sure what you want. They sell some great mugs inside and have a few other neat little gift shop things like necklaces, leggings, hats, etc. Menu features some delicious breakfast wraps, oatmeal, yogurt and granola, scrambles and omelettes. They also have sandwiches and salads for lunch and can easily make things to go for you to take with you into the park for a day of exploring. They have a small cooler by the registers with grab-and-go drinks and salads and sandwiches. I loved, loved, loved the Jitter Bug which is a blended mocha iced coffee (think Frappuccino) drink with coffee beans in it to give a little texture. Sweet and delicious! We also got Americanos here almost every day and the flavor of the coffee is delicious. Tried a veggie breakfast wrap and ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich as well as a few scones and cookies and everything was delicious. Highly recommend if you are in the area - they have three locations including this one in the nearby towns of Whitefish and Kalispell. The Whitefish location is huge and has much more gift shop items for sale and seating and is about 15 minutes away. They have a punch card where if you purchase so many drinks you get one free and they also ship their coffees from their website! read more

If I could give this place more stars, I would. Rustic, cozy spot to get coffee and delicious breakfast. The girl who took our order (short blond hair) was very pleasant. I ordered an omelette and my finance ordered the scrambler, and both were perfect. The sausage in my omelette was local and fresh. They have gluten free options and baked goods and quiche for take out as well. Also for a Monday morning in early October, this place is packed yet we still got our breakfast quickly. I also quickly glanced in the kitchen while waiting for the bathroom and it looks clean and organized. My only feedback is to include a sign when walking in indicating to order breakfast at the counter first and then sitting where you prefer. read more
