Here was our good experience: Orange Juice - freshly squeezed, incredibly good. Green tea - just normal teabags you steep. Clam Chowder - Riduculously good! Sweet Potato Fries - very good. 2 Eggs - a side, had them with cheese, so good. Blueberry Pancakes - this is what I came for, but it was disappointing, served with butter maple syrup, but I thought it all lacked flavor. Corned Beef on Rye - great sandwich, great flavors, hit of the table. Our server was Babas and she was FANTASTIC, making us feel like we were at her home.

I would say we waited about 15-20 minutes for our order to be ready, and it was nice that we were able to order drinks at another counter and sit at a table / read the local newspaper while waiting. There's a decent inventory of snacks / huckleberry items / souvenirs you can buy. I really liked my chai, and it came nice and hot. Sadly, I didn't love the food as much. We ordered the Mexican omelette (which was great, but I didn't really like the potatoes), the breakfast sandwich (huge portion and I could only eat a few bites), and the breakfast burrito which came with a lot of sauce. None of us finished our dishes (everything was a huge portion).

There is only scrambled of hard cooked egg. ***No yolky eggs*** and no pancakes. We didn't realize coming in. And when we got the cheesy scrambler, the eggs were VERY "wet". Now I don't want to start any rumor but they were very similar to how hotel breakfasts boil bags of prepackaged scrambled eggs then chop it up and serve it. Point being, unsure if they were fresh. I'm pregnant so I was skeptical at first to eat since they were so wet and runny. My husbands chicken fried steak was square. Another indication he thought it was prepackaged frozen. Both came with size of potato's and they were great! Crunchy on outside and soft on inside My toddler got the French toast sticks though and those were so yummy. They gave him crayons and a coloring paper which was nice! High chairs are available. My husband just assumed it all was reheated from the freezer isle. But I'm less difficult to impress, especially for breakfast, and usually he is too just something felt off here. And if the runny eggs didn't make me question than I probably would've never noticed anything. The woman working was so sweet and attentive. Old-school diner feel. It is self seating and you order at the counter. There was only one other couple there with us, not busy at all. Went on a Monday morning.

The color was completely wrong, the cake had absolutely no flavor, and the texture was nothing like a typical cake that you would expect. It was extremely spongy and dense, making it very unpleasant to eat. Considering how much I spent on this cake, I expected a much higher level of quality and attention to detail. This was for a very special occasion, and it was upsetting to spend so much money on something that didn't meet even the basic expectations of what I ordered. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this experience, especially for the price.
