That's the amount of soup that I found in the bowl when I got back to the hotel. It was less than half full.

I walked across the street to this place from my hotel. I ordered some soup and a dessert to go. Before I left, I asked the server if there were utensils in the taped up bag for the soup and dessert. She said yes, "everything was in the bag". Got back to the hotel to find that there was no utensils for the soup, and the cardboard soup bowl was less than half full. I called and spoke to the manager who gave me excuse after excuse. in doing this review, I noticed, and was not surprised, by the two star rating that it had. After talking to the manager, it is clear why this place needs a lot of work.

I got a BoozeFree strawberry lemonade and my boyfriend got beer.

Service was okay the waiter got our orders right and checked on us. Ambiance was okay family friendly vibe I went for date night but it was nothing spectacular. The FOOD now we had cheesy pull apart bread it tasted good, I got Mac & cheese with spicy chicken, my boyfriend got 10oz steak and fries, and lastly we got chocolate cake for dessert. I have NO IDEA which item did it for me but I had the runs (my boyfriend said his stomach hurt too) we took a 10min walk down the road once we paid & within reaching our destination I had to go to the toilet urgently but we don't live in the area so we took an Uber home & I had to leave my baby & boyfriend in the car to run to the toilet I attached a few photos of the food and drinks I forgot to take a pic of the cake.

I know I know it's a common restaurant. But this one was different! The service was great from start to finish. The hostess was extremely nice and quick to check our vaccination info. From there the table was clean and from the looks of the surroundings, well cleaned. Our server was amazing! Quick to greet us and bring our food and checked in often. My husband ordered the brisket burger which looked really good. Selfishly, I refused to share my baked Antojitos. I mean they were so good I ordered a 2nd order of them (in all fairness it is an appetizer). This location was really on their game and I would definitely go again.

    Chicken Fajita Dinner

Stopped by for dinner at this Montanas yesterday evening, I would give this Montanas a 3 star. Due to covid they have tents set up outdoor. I cannot speak for inside the restaurant since I was dining outdoor. That evening Montanas wasn't that busy, there were only 2 family's seated outdoor and both familys were already eating there meals. I assumed service would be fast. It took about 10min for the asian waitress to notice I'm seated there, infact I had to wave her down to catch her attention or she would have ran inside. She asked for 2? When clearly there are 2 of us seating here...I replied, yes thank you. She comes out with the menus but I was just so hungry at this point I told her I already know what I want to order. - Chicken fajita dinner - 2piece fish & chips dinner - 2 bigmama, a beer & coke 1 bigmama and the beer came to the table first (10min later) 30min more go by and at this point we are asking each other why is the food taking so long? How long have we been waiting? About 45min total wait and just the fish and chips dinner and the chicken fajita came out... where's the toppings for the chicken fajita and the pitas that comes with? also the rest of the drinks? She says it's on the way 10min passes and it's finally here at this point the main dinner is cold because we had to wait for the remainder of the food to get to the table. Totally inconsiderate knowing we are outdoor it's the evening temperature drops, its really common sense. Why bother bringing part of our meal out? Future note: bring the entire meal out at once and if you are unable to bring the entire meal how about start bringing out the cold stuff first..like the toppings, the drinks, the bread. Anyhow! Fish and chips dinner barely got touched, it was mostly bread batter...where was the FISH! Horrible batter taste and the oil it's been fried in NEEDS TO BE CHANGED. Not pleased, I wouldnt recommend. Avoid ordering the fish and chips. Chicken fajita, tasty no complaints other then the actually "chicken fajita" being cold due to waiting for the toppings and pitas bread. Asian waitress: friendly but just slow in service and it was clear the fish and chips wasn't touched... you should have asked; how was the food? The bigmama drinks, the first one was good but the second one it was very evident it was mostly juice. Overall 3 star worthy. It's okay...it's not the best but okay.

Was in Toronto for work and decided to give place a try. What a mistake . Wish I could back in time and change where I went to eat. Pros Easy to find and lots of free parking That's about it for the pros Cons It should of been a sign when the restaurant was semi full. Took about 15 minutes of waiting to get a waiter to take our order. We had to ask three times for our drinks to come out. We got our food order before our appetizers Food All our food came our stone cold Steak was asked for rare but came out well done and stone cold. We asked it to be remade and the second one came back even more well done. Bake potatoes were so well done you could of used It as a papEr weight. Roast beef was so cold it was a joke. They gave me a new one tHat was colder than the first one. The salad that come with it was ok and only thing I could eat My friend order the burger and fries that came out cold as well. The new one they sent out was semi warm. We asked the waiter what was going on he said because they are busy. I turned to my friend busy. Nobody is here . Lolol We left and know we all feel super sick and drinking ginger ale . Please go there with caution

Just ok. Good potential, but the place is self defeating. Outside: wasn't sure if the restaurant is even open. The landscaping looks like doo doo. Weeds and trash everywhere. The back area near the dumpster looks like hell. Lotsa boxes and trash. Management: the place looks neglected. Made me wonder what the inside and kitchen looked like. Get back to basics. Food: ok. Had the lunch special. It was delivered quick. Tasted ok. Server: nice enough. Two stars.

Awful!!!1 slow slow SLOW!!! I don't even want spend the time explaining how bad this place is, avoid at all cost!! The worst service, food over over cooked, dry, and arrived to the table cold. I had the ribs (dry, over cooked, cold when it arrived at the table), I paid for an extra $6 for the brisket side and it too arrived dry, overcooked and cold.. it was more like brisket jerky! I could go on but I think I've made my point.

Amazing service!!! Bessie was the best! She took care of us in the best way possible.

Tips: - Washrooms are downstairs…read more - Earn Scene points here. Last month, I visited this Swiss Chalet after work on a Wednesday. I was hungry and was about to have an early dinner just before 5 pm. This restaurant was the closest location to my old workplace. Sadly, due to several Swiss Chalet locations that have shuttered for good around the airport and near the Etobicoke-Mississauga border, this location is the closest one to my workplace these days. Aside: There is a Swiss Chalet at Toronto Pearson International Airport, but that's not in my cards to dine there and pay an exorbitant sum to park. This eatery is on the north side of Dixon Road. It's between a Subway and an East Side Mario's. I found a parking spot across from this Swiss Chalet's main entrance. I backed into the spot and walked in. I stood in front of the greeting area for what felt like the longest time. I got to see that the roast beef offerings were over. In their place were ribs deals. Perfect! Finally, a woman came over. She seated me in a booth-table hybrid. I got booth seating across from regular chairs. My server was Asia. She was pleasant and helpful. She let me know about the various ribs specials. I ordered a Diet Pepsi to start. It came to me fairly fast. It was cold, bubbly, and refreshing. I got a refill midway through my meal. Asia was attentive. I ordered the honey garlic ribs and chicken combo. She asked if that was the third-rack of ribs. The description on the menu didn't say a third. It just said ribs and chicken. It turns out that they mean the same thing. This combo came with a side. I got garlic green beans. I uploaded photos through my Yelp app as I waited for my main to arrive. It worked out well. My food came. It looked yummy. My quarter chicken was delicious. The meat was tender. The skin was crispy. I dunked everything into the chalet sauce. It was comforting. I got coleslaw with my ribs. I loved the crisp coleslaw with its light mayonnaise-based dressing. Delightful! The honey garlic ribs were excellent. The ribs had the right amount of meat. It was easy to cut through the meat and eat each rib effortlessly. The meat came off the bone without trying. The honey garlic sauce was the right amount on the ribs. I got a roll with butter. I was so hungry that I practically inhaled it. I had room for dessert. I got my usual dessert at Swiss Chalet, which is the lemon meringue pie. Asia nodded and got me a slice. I loved the tartness of the lemon. The meringue was fun to eat. The pie crust wasn't tough. It was perfect. I paid for my meal with a credit card. I entered my Scene+ number on the payment machine to get points for my meal. I then tipped and tapped. Done! Eons ago, I had visited this Swiss Chalet, well before I joined Yelp. I don't recall using the washroom back then. I needed to before I headed home. The washroom is down a level. I only saw a set of stairs. If you have mobility issues, you may have a problem getting there. I didn't see an elevator. The women's washroom was nicely maintained. The stall that I used was clean. It was great coming here for an early dinner. I'd return for more. (294)

I was under the impression that the Toronto airport would have a lot to offer even in Terminal 3, since its so large. I was wrong about that. Luckily the Swiss Chalet was an option. My server was friendly. And they have beer on tap. Those are the only reasons that this one pulled two stars rather than one. For those in the Twin Cities, imagine Perkins with fewer menu options, lower food quality, an inferior dining environment and you'll get an idea of what to expect. I chose the chicken wrap. It was made with canned chicken and served with a side of thousand island salad dressing. OMG. Guess it worked out ok because i survived to write about it. You'll pay $10 for a glass of Rickard's Red, and that is a crime. I found it interesting that they provide a small dish of warm water to rinse your fingers at the end of the meal. Is that a Swiss tradition? Someone fill me in. Among the limited choices in Terminal 3 this one is probably one of the best but that's not saying much. Is your flight departing from Terminal 3? Take my advice. Eat before you get to the airport.

I did a search on my Uber Eats app and found this store. It was offering a BOGO deal on a couple of savoury perogies meals. Bacon or truffle mushroom perogies? It was a tough decision. I love both. I caved and went with the latter. You have the option of choosing what filling you want in your perogies. I went classic and chose cheddar potato. I also got dessert perogies. The apple pie ones intrigued me. I got an estimated time of twenty minutes for my order to be completed. I took my time getting there. This eatery is on the southwest corner of The Queensway and Consol. The latter is interesting in that it's a u-shaped street. You basically drive all the way down the east part of u-shaped Consol until you can't drive anymore. You'll see Holy Perogy! I backed into a spot and walked in. I was the only customer in the store. A friendly man greeted me. I let him know that I had an Uber Eats order. He first thought that I was a driver for Uber Eats. I'm not sure why. Maybe I look casual enough to be one? If you are a food app driver, you need to bring your insulated bag with you. Otherwise, this store won't give you any order. It prides itself on having hot food staying hot. Since I was a hungry customer who had ordered food, he gave me my order and apologized for the mix-up. It was all good. I thanked him and headed to my car with my order. I, too, have insulated bags in my car. I placed my food in one of them and drove home. I then enjoyed one of the truffled mushroom perogies meals that night with the apple pie ones. I had the second mushroom one the following night. I highly recommend the truffled mushroom perogies if you are a huge mushroom lover. They were delicious. This place didn't skimp on the mushrooms. You could taste the truffle oil. It wasn't overpowering. It was perfect. The cheddar potato perogies were so good with the mushrooms and the creamy sauce. I loved the green onions on top. It was a filling meal. I'd get it again. I had the second container of mushroom perogies the following day. They heated up well and tasted equally as yummy. Dessert perogies? Yes, please! The apple pie perogies were outstanding. The apple pie filling was yummy with a hint of sweetness. I loved the cinnamon with the cubed apples in every bite. It had the right amount of caramel drizzled on each one. So good! This place was a great find on Uber Eats. I need to head back for more. It's not too far from my workplace, so I see myself coming over here after work or when I'm in the area. (446)

I seem to be on a mission to hit all Swiss Chalet restaurants close to my workplace. My dad is my enabler, who got me into roast beef at Swiss Chalet. It's here for a limited time and it's delicious. I did a search to find a Swiss Chalet near my workplace because I wanted to dine at one after work. I found this one just east of Martin Grove Road, on Rexdale Boulevard. Perfect! It took me maybe twenty minutes to get there after work last Wednesday. It's a Swiss Chalet-Harvey's combo store. It has a drive-thru for both on the right of the building when you face the entrance. There was a lot of parking in the plaza. I parked fairly close to the entrance and walked in. What prevents me from giving this eatery a five-star Yelp rating: - I stood at the wait-to-be-seated podium for five minutes. - A female staffer, who seemed like the manager, Mary, had the loudest, grating voice, and didn't have the best customer service skills compared to the rest of the female crew. Jinan, who would eventually be my server, came over and said that I could sit anywhere. I chose a comfortable booth by the window. I knew what I wanted: - Roast beef dinner with veggies and garlic green beans - Diet Pepsi My Diet Pepsi came out first. It was cold and fizzy. Jinan was attentive and got me a refill toward the end of my meal. It didn't take long for my dinner to arrive. It looked so good. I was ready to tear into it. The veggies were perfectly steamed. I loved the garlic green beans. They looked exceptionally healthy being a gorgeous green colour, with minced garlic covering each one. They were delicious. The roast beef was tender. It was almost as if I didn't need a knife. The beef gravy was full of beef flavour. I loved the creamed horseradish that seemed to act as a palate-cleanser. My meal came with a roll and butter. I ended up tearing morsels of it and sopping the gravy up with it. So good! I had room for dessert. My go-to pie here is the lemon meringue. It was delicious. The meringue was perfect. The lemon filling was tart. The pie crust tied everything together. My server was nice and excellent. I appreciated her serving and customer service skills. Mary, who seemed to be the manager, had this grating voice when she spoke to a party of four folks two booths in front of mine. It felt awkward hearing her deal with their needs. I got the payment machine. I entered my Scene points number and then tapped my credit card. I entered a tip and was done. There is currently a promotion to get 30x bonus Scene points at Swiss Chalet. I ended up with 327 Scene points from this visit. Normally, my order would get me 9 points. It's a steal! The washroom is closer to the entrance. It's shared between Harvey's and Swiss Chalet. It was clean. No complaints. I had a decent experience here. The wait to be seated was a downer. Once I was seated at a table and food came to me, all was great. (203)

We normally don't drink water with our meals especially when we order a $120 to $140 bottle of wine. This is my only complaint. Waiters should not assume! The tuna was probably the best of all items we ordered. It was divine! The steaks were very tender, moist, and piping hot - must be the 500F plate they serve it on.
