The cost of his alterations as well as the timeframe was reasonable. My son was excited, but we didn't have a deadline. Yelp doesn't have many reviews for Oxford Tailors; however, Google has several and they are almost at a perfect score overall. This team has been trusted by customers with wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, suits, and other garments.

It started when I wanted to bring a particular pair of pants on a trip I was about to leave on. I used Yelp's "Request Pricing" feature to ask British Custom Tailors, along with some other tailors, if they would be able to handle my tailoring job within the week. BCT got back to me within the hour, and the next morning I was at the shop. This shop is near Holiday Manor, and it was neat seeing how it has an elegant showroom in front and then a larger area in back where the alterations are made. Men's suits seem to be their focus, so if that's something you're in the market for, definitely check them out. My pants were done less than a week later, and they were hemmed perfectly. I also got a text to let me know they were ready to be picked up. I'll definitely be back here when I have more alterations that need to be done.

My…read moreniece and I brought in her prom dress to have the straps altered and asked if Sherry could replace the plunging mesh with a matching fabric if we went and bought fabric and brought it back to her. SHERRY said she could take the sequins from the sections of straps being removed and add them to the mesh since she didn't think we could find a matching fabric. To be clear, this was HER suggestion. We never thought that would have been an option. The dress was just picked up and she literally took the cut pieces of fabric and glued it to the mesh! It looks like a kindergartner's construction paper project! Then she had the audacity to say that is what we asked for! Do NOT GO TO THIS WOMAN! SHE IS A FRAUD and will destroy your dress! Prom dresses aren't cheap and we trusted what she said! Don't make our mistake!

I was rung up for a $25 per each item. I paid $163 which sounded insane for six towels to be monogrammed and a few days later they texted me saying that I needed to pay 20 more dollars if I wanted the 5 inch for both of those towels inevitably said no because paying close to $200 for towels in my eyes is insane. When I did the math after I picked them up, I was extremely angry at the fact that I was overcharged. I first called and talked to Katie herself, and she was extremely rude to me. Kept on cutting me off and not listening. It was definitely not a customer based business. I went back to go over with her. I was very kind. I said it was very cruddy that I was kept in the dark about the total and she broke down my whole thing and there is a 4% charge that gets added if you pay with card that was not disclosed to me there was just a little piece of paper in the corner of a table about it. And then there was nine dollars worth of tax. I told her that I was extremely frustrated that nothing like this was disclosed. It felt like I was paying for something with a lot of hidden fees. at the end of the conversation, I told her that many people would love to know about how you run your business in this isn't an OK way to run your business. She looked me dead in my face and told me like anybody would ever listen to a teenager. I was genuinely so frustrated and the owner of the store you can tell is money focused and not customer focused. As in the way she would love to rip off. It sounds like any of her customers just so she can make more money and it seems like for 16 years. She has been doing this.
