It's a great location! Right on the boardwalk. Easy walk to the beach and close to Seaport Pier. Adam's Restaurant below is fabulous. We have been staying here every summer with our family for the past 23 years. My kids were babies and are now in their 20's! Sometimes coming down multiple times in a season. We have many good memories from our stays here. But unfortunately our last stay (8/2025) was so bad that we need a break from this place. Sorry for the delay in review, but I have been meaning to write this and now that summer is upon us, now is a good time. We had Issues with the appliances, cleanliness, and the room in general. The refrigerator was not maintaining a food safe temperature, causing our food to spoil, toaster not working, and sliding balcony door not closing completely. Called the front desk to let them know about the problems, especially the broken refrigerator and asked for our food loss to be reimbursed. It was our 1st night down with a fridge full of cold cuts and dairy products ruined the next morning. We discovered it while packing lunches for the beach. We received nothing but rudeness from the woman at the front desk. She refused to refund the perished food, was accusatory, and just awful. The only good thing was she had sent up a maintenance man right away. He replaced the fridge (his thermometer validated the temperature), replaced the toaster, and fixed the glass door so it would close and lock. Food is not cheap, so I wanted to talk to the manager. She gave me a time frame as to when he would be at the hotel. He was difficult to track down, but once we did (on our last day), he did make things right and reimbursed us for the spoiled food. Also 4 adults in a room and only supplied with 2 washcloths and 2 bath towels by housekeeping is not acceptable. Especially after a long beach day. There were 4 people on the reservation, shouldn't the room be supplied for 4 people? Not 2 people? Did receive more washcloths and towels after asking. read more

Booking an Oceanfront Room Here Feels Like a Lottery We stayed at Montego Bay Resort twice and booked an oceanfront room both times. The biggest issue is the significant variation between oceanfront rooms. They can be on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th floor. A 6th-floor room offers a direct ocean view and privacy, while a 3rd-floor room opens onto the shared pool terrace, where people can walk directly past your windows. We regularly observed cigarette smoking there and, at times, marijuana. The hotel does not guarantee a specific room or floor. Even when your room has already been assigned, they will not disclose the room number or floor before arrival. This naturally leaves everyone booking "oceanfront" hoping for one of the best locations, while you may already be assigned to the 3rd floor facing the public terrace and simply not know it until you arrive. Our first stay was on the 6th floor with an excellent direct ocean view. On our second stay, we received a 4th-floor oceanfront room, but the AC was extremely loud -- approximately 70-75 dB at night. At that level, relaxing or sleeping was extremely difficult even with earplugs. If you expect to relax and sleep well with the AC running, do not count on it. The AC later froze, and falling ice from inside the unit woke us during the night as it thawed. The thermostat was around 75°F, the balcony door was closed, and the AC was being used normally. We were told it froze because it had been running too long or was set too low, which should not cause a properly functioning AC to freeze. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and several times we had to get clean towels ourselves. There were no "Do Not Disturb" signs. The kitchens are useful, but the nonstick cookware we saw was heavily scratched. The problem is not that the rooms fail to qualify as oceanfront. It is the substantial difference within that category and the hotel's refusal to disclose your assigned room or even floor before arrival. For the price, guests should be able to know what they are getting and decide whether it is acceptable before they arrive. Until then, booking an oceanfront room here feels like a lottery. read more

I was calling today, August 17, at 1:18 PM to make a reservation. I was put on hold for about 10 minutes and then disconnected. I called back at 1:28 PM and explained that I had just been holding for 10 minutes before the call was disconnected. I was told, "Yeah, it's just me up here. Maybe you should call back in an hour or so," and was then put on hold again. At that point I decided I wouldn't be making a reservation. I understand being busy, but that was not a good experience for someone calling to give your business their money. Just wanted to let you know why you lost my reservation. read more

We were supposed to stay at the Golden Rail hotel however when we called on our way there to confirm out reservation, we were told they didn't have a room for us so were upgrading us at no charge to their sister hotel the Monteago Bay resort. At first we were thrilled but from the very get go of checking in we had a bad experience. The young girl was mad that we were staying there by no fault of ours and was very short with us while we were checking in. We were told the place is a resort and really nice but the whole place was run down and filthy. The hallways were dark, the elevator barely worked, there was mold everywhere on the ceilings. It was just gross all over! The "indoor water park" was a pool with like 2 slides and felt dingy. The only nice thing about the place was the balcony facing the ocean with the outdoor pool and grills. The second day we were there our room key wouldn't work so after being hot at the beach all day we went to the front desk to let them know it wasn't working and the young girl there shushed us and told us she's doing a training and to go wait at the pool until she was done. Completely unacceptable!! We told her we were not doing that as we were just in the sun for 5 hours at the beach and ready to be back in our room. She eventually with much attitude fixed our keycard which took all of 30 seconds and then we were able to get back in. I should have taken pictures but in our room (room 410) there was a gross blood or poop stain on the woodwork across from the toilet that somehow housekeeping overlooked. There was hair sticking in it and made me gag when I looked at it. The last day we were there while we were headed to the beach with our wagon full of things they stopped us and told us we had to change rooms because we weren't really guests we were "floaters" and they needed that room for actually guests. This was what the young girl at the desk said to us. Once again I realize we originally booked at Golden Rail however they made the mistake and placed us at Monteago Bay. We still paid so I'm not sure why we were "floaters". We complied and moved our room even though it was a huge inconvenience to us. The day staff continued to be short and unwelcoming with us. The night staff was wonderful and so helpful and friendly!! And the bar tender at Adam's restaurant was also very friendly and helpful! Personally the stress of being jerked around, treated poorly like we were an inconvenience and made to change rooms but a huge stress on what was supposed to be a relaxing beach weekend away. The new updated rooms are nice overall. Except the bathrooms are still trashy, there was no blow drying in the bathrooms (as promised at booking). We had a 4br 3 bathroom suite. We still had to pay an extra person fee- even though there was only 8 of us (and 4 br). The kitchen has TWO forks. We had to request more. The walls are super thin, the door to the suite was difficult to close. I was woken by the washing machine which was across the hall and a closed door away. I hear a baby crying when i was trying to go to the bathroom (our youngest was 12). The restaurant was... meh. They got 2 things wrong, one was sent back, and came back without the issue being remedied. The "indoor waterpark" is a very small pool with 2 water slides and a play area that is not in water. It was not ideal for our older children. The elevators are a NIGHTMARE. There are 2 elevators. The stairs only go to the second floor, and the only other stairs are emergency stairs we were told not to use. The hotel was quite full do to a cheer competition, and waiting 10 minutes for one of the two elevators to squish in with 6-8 other people was uncomfortable. The elevator shook and paused, and someone even got stuck on the first floor for a short time. I truly don't know how this place functions during the summer. Genuinely, they barely seemed to manage the winter crowd. I would not recommend staying here. read more

My daughter, granddaughter and myself stayed at Montego Bay for 3 days. During that entire time, housekeeping only came in to wipe down bathroom and leave towels. Our beds were never made and the floor was never swept/vacuumed. We had to ask for a broom at the front desk so we could sweep the floor. Instead of sending housekeeping up to vacuum our floor, we were actually given a broom! You could not sleep on the foldout bed because the mattress was so uncomfortable. The pool was filthy. It was so cloudy you could not see the bottom. I never saw anyone clean it. The whole place is dirty and dingy. A friend of one of the employees (with a pair of women's panties hanging from his rearview mirror) parked right behind my car in the parking lot and I could not get out until they located the person to move his car. The elevator barely worked. Most of the time we had to take the stairs up 3 flights. Also, the whole hotel smelled like weed. When I complained about it, I was told by the woman at the front desk that she was aware of it too, but that it was legal. I told her it was not legal to smoke it in the hotel and that the people in the room next to mine were smoking and the smell was seeping into my room. Nothing was done. This place is gross and I will never stay there again. It is a great location and our view was nice, but we paid extra for it. Leaving one star for location and view. read more

They need to hire some maintenance men for things that are broke. Our thermostat stayed at 66 unless we turned the unit off. The patio door needed to be greased and the lock fixed. Folks said don't go there you'll regret it. I ignored them. I had a beautiful room. Very, very clean. Bottom of my feet didnt even get dirty. A little test i do to see how floors are. Full kitchen stocked with everything I needed to prepare food. Pots, pans, silverware, you name it it was there. Plus dish soap and sponge. I loved the refrigerator! Pool/waterpark area was nice, even had lifeguard. Housekeeping there every day. They even had shampoos and soap. Staff was great, no problems whatsoever. I was just there November 7, 8, 9, 10, checked out 11th, 2024. They are renovating now, once it's complete lookout and good luck getting room. I had a newly renovated room. Most of the hotels at the beach are rundown, but other than slow elevators, Montego Bay is a a very lovely place to stay. The location at the north of the boardwalk, just outside the tram stop is perfect, not too loud, but you can see the boardwalk rides if you're high enough up on floor. Both the staff and the cleaning crew are super friendly and responsive. There's a outdoor pool deck and an huge inside pool and water park. The slides are very fun. We come back every year and look forward to the next immediately. read more

I honestly cannot give this hotel anymore stars based on our two night stay. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. The location was good. There is an indoor pool and water slides. We had a one bedroom suite with supposedly sea view. The hotel is very dated. Furniture is very very old. The double bed had stained sheets (see photo) that went through to the thin mattress pad. We had to change the sheets ourselves. We believe the stains came from the ceiling above (see photo) the bed where it appeared a pipe broke. The floor was dirty. The slider door to the balcony was broke. The refrigerator had something spilled in the crisper that was not cleaned up. I spoke with other guest who told me their room was filthy. This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. I only wish I read the reviews prior to booking a room. Please find another hotel to stay at. read more

. I booked my room 2 weeks ahead of time for a getaway with my 2 young sons specially to use the pool and indoor waterpark on Presidents' Day wkend. I arrived at 430pm for a 3:00pm check in. Upon arrival I was told the slide closes at 4pm. I then inquired why the slide closes so close to check in time (3pm) I was told by Judy that the pool and jacuzzi were still open. There was no apology for the inconvenience or empathy for my feelings of my 2 boys that were so excited to use the slide. We then got dressed for the pool and the room was FREEZING. The pool water was cold as well. At 5pm on a Sunday there were no food options available either at the "resort". The bed was comfortable but we were ONLY provided a sheet- no blanket with minimal heat. My son and I were freezing all night. We woke up and got ready for the pool only to find out it doesn't open until 10am which is checkout time!!!! This is not a family friendly resort. They basically make it impossible to use the waterpark with the limited hours. The hotel was mediocre and shouldn't be open in the offseason with the lack of heat available. This is a warning to people who want to stay. Location is great. Views are amazing. Restaurant is great. Stayed in the oceanfront room. Outside pool was gross! Stuff floating and chemicals in the water outside and the pool inside burned our faces!! Rooms were newly remodeled but very dirty. Food splattered on cabinets, black socks. And the balcony door broke on the last day and could not use it! They said the would fix it the next day, which is when we checked out! I booked a room on 4/18/24 for the weekend of 5/10-5/12-24. Upon checking in on 5/10, we found damage to the door of our room that appeared to have been kicked in and poorly repaired. The front desk staff moved us to another room, which seemed better initially. However, later that night when my son went to bed, he discovered blood stains on the pillowcase and sheets. I immediately reported this to the overnight security staff who agreed that it was unacceptable and offered new bedding for us to change ourselves. As a paying guest, I believe it is completely unacceptable to be asked to handle someone else's bodily fluids. The situation worsened when the night security staff showed me text messages exchanged with the head housekeeper, in which she accused us of lying about the blood stains. Despite my denial of these allegations, Brad from the hotel management team refused to do anything for me the next morning when I requested a refund for at least one night's stay. This is not how any customer should be treated. I have stayed at this hotel before without any issues and had a fantastic time, which is why I am extremely disappointed with this recent experience. At the very least, I believe a refund for one night's stay would be appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and discomfort we experienced. This place has gone way down hill since my first stay. Also the elevators jump and feels like they are going to free fall! They let little kids in the hot tub, which is unsafe for children! I booked this room *An ocean view 2 Double Bed* for the weekend of Friday February 17,2023 for my nieces cheer competition. Because of the indoor pool/water slides. Upon check in on Friday, once we walked into our room, the heat was cranked all the way up. The state cosmetically of the room was awful. Bathroom doorknob practically falling off, the toilet ran ALL THE TIME! Marks of furniture rubbing/banging into the wall in the kitchen/living room area. Air Vents on the walls were rusted and some had screws falling out. Outlet covers, most were cracked/broken, that's a fire hazard. The horrendous wind was making the room door bang and my spouse had to play with the door a few times, just to have the dead bolt work properly. As a first time guest. I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL! Upon speaking to the manager, it was a women. She was very pleasant and offered a $50 credit. The state of the room and even the whole hotel is an absolute nightmare and should be shut down and remodeled! There is also 1 Elevator for the WHOLE HOTEL, and it worked very inefficiently, waiting for 2+ minutes for it to arrive where it's requested. The elevator inside and out made noises that made you wonder if it would shut off while inside. My review might be a tad harsh/knit picky, but if I was looking at a hotel to book a stay at, I would want honest reviews and unfortunately I went against my own judgement and did not check the reviews. My experience was not good I went up to my room and I see that there is one twin bed for 3 people to share then a queen bed for 2 to share. I then try to turn of my Tv which is a box one.The box tvs are in both bedroom but there is another tv in the living room but when I tried to turn it on it wouldn't load.That brings me into my next point the internet wouldn't work I connected to the WiFi and when I put in the password it wouldn't go throughout.Then my phone was going to die so I plugged it into my outlet and it wouldn't work.then when I turned off the tv it sparked at me and then I had brought a cube with me to plug into the tv to get channels the tv was that old that it didn't have an HDMI slot. Then after the pool I tried to dry my hair and the hair dryer didn't turn on.there is also a window in my bedroom there might be a curtain but it faces into the mirror so people can still see me read more

I have been staying at this hotel every summer for at least 10 years and the rooms are worst each year. I won't be coming back after my last stay in 2024. The first complaint is the fridge is too large for the space and couldn't be open without force(door stuck on wall). The fridge also opened from the right side and there was no room between the door and island. The handle to the slider was falling off. In several visit we received credit for room condition and uncleaned appliances. I won't recommend this hotel do to the decline in room conditions for the price they charge. read more

Came into town without a reservation or researching the area and couldn't find the hotel I had quickly found on line. I saw this yellow hotel with a water park slide sticking out of it. It was late, cold and about to rain so I grabbed a room. The front desk staff was friendly. There was an overwhelming smell of grease in the elevator closest to the front desk. The room I received had lots of room. The sheets were clean but the bathroom wasn't. The kitchen had a coffee maker (needed cleaning) without filters or coffee and no paper towels. It was still off season and might consider giving the hotel a second chance if I am in the area again but the bath would have to be clean the moment I walked in. read more

The only way this place can be classified as a resort is if I were referring to this place as a 'last' resort. My mom rented the presidential suite for the weekend as an early birthday gift for my dad. My thought was "wow he must have really dropped the ball on something to deserve this". Cleaning in between guests, or around the resort in general, is not a priority and for close to $300 a night, i expect better from a place that calls itself a resort, literally the same leaves from the plant in the lobby were in the same spot on the floor for the entire weekend. Debris from the previous guests were left on the table, nothing looked to be wiped down, and the balcony wasn't swept (we were provided with a complimentary end of a joint on the balcony floor, probably as a gift of mercy in order to cope with having to stay at this place for the weekend. God help management if we had children staying with us). One member of our party also killed a baby roach in his room but he disposed of it before i could grab evidence. Aside from being extremely outdated, there were multiple ceiling tiles with water damage and light fixtures that look like they havnt been cleaned since the golden age of wildwood. The toilets were disgusting as either rust or feces was left in the toilet, and the toilet paper wasn't changed in between guests. Aside from cheap soap, no toiletries like shampoo or conditioner were provided. Ive been to regular hotels not classified as a resort that provided more. Also, no maid service. The fire alarms also went off one night with police and fire responding. The phones in our rooms weren't connected so we had to rely on one lady in the hall just yelling for people to stay in their rooms. No explanation given as to the issue. The 'waterpark' is just as accurate as calling this place a resort. Its literally a pool with two slides, and the chlorine is strong enough to burn your eyes and nostrils. Ive heard there's a such thing as a 'wildwood standard' for hotels, I guess to give an excuse for crappy accommodations, but when this yellow monstrosity markets itself as a resort, I expect it to be above average especially for the cost. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE !!! Hotel is run down and customer service is NON-EXISTENT. We were there two nights. Kitchen had bugs, slider door was broken, and elevator was filthy. Wifi was down, which also meant no TV on top of no internet. Upon checking out, I asked to speak to a manager. The front desk person was dismissive and told me the manager wasn't in. When I asked for the manager's name, I was told only "Brad", no last name (he said he didn't know it). I left a message asking for a phone call. No call. Upon our return home, I called four more times. Each time, I was told the manager wasn't in, and I left another message. I use to enjoy this hotel back in the day. I went for labor day weekend 2024, had not been since 2015, boy was I disappointed. My husband and I always got the package deals with another couple. Well they have a very limited menu, food sucked and they automatically added 18% to EVERYTHING! Whether you're service was worth it or not. There was a server I wasn't happy with! She didn't deserve 18% We went for the bike ride we couldn't get the one we wanted we had to pay extra. We decided not to, and the pizza was horrible. Tasted like cardboard! While the accommodations were very good, the prices for the package was not worth it. The pizza was awful. The tickets for the bike ride were not directly transferable. We had 3 tickets and wanted to ride together. We were told we needed to pay extra for the upgrade to ride together. The food choices for the dinner were limited to 2 fish choices, 2 chicken choices, and a pasta choice. And the 18% gratuity charge for breakfast and dinner was outrageous. My husband, son and I stayed here last week and to call our stay a disappointment would be a severe understatement. Some of the issues we first experienced could've been overlooked/ignored by us -- the empty water bottle on the floor, the half-eaten bag of tortilla chips in the cabinet, the ripped-up carpet with sharp plastic pieces sticking straight up, the dusty/dirty air vents and the very clear cover up of the last guests who obviously smoked in the room (it smelled so disgusting). We get that mistakes can happen when you have so many rooms to take care of. HOWEVER -- when you add in the wet towel that was already hanging in the bathroom, the stained curtains by the patio doors, the dirty bedsheet and tube top shirt that we found behind the couch, THE BLOOD ON ONE OF THE BED SHEETS (not to mention the pillow inside this was stained yellow) and THE ZIPLOC BAG CONTAINING THREE BLUE PILLS BEHIND THE BEDROOM DOOR - then I'm sorry, but none of it can be overlooked. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure drugs and blood are not a good look for a hotel, and the thought of my 6 year old son possibly picking up that bag (before we found it) and touching those pills will haunt me for a long time. Who the heck knows what they were. What if he touched them and got sick??? Would they assume that responsibility??? I'm just thankful we found them first and flushed them down the toilet. We paid over $1100 for a four night stay here, and to deal with all of this and feel so unsafe and dirty is not something that we, or any of their guests, should have to deal with. EVER. read more

The staff was not the friendliest and the inconvenience of having to pack up our belongings and move when we paid is just not worth it read more

It was okay, I like that it had a waterpark, but the rest? Absolutely not! We were told we got the "best room" on the top floor, which was a lie. The floors were disgusting and filthy (Mostly the bathroom floor), no air conditioning, and went to the front desk and was told maintenance would fix the air, never happened. We had to keep our patio doors open at night for air which wasn't safe at all! The door chain lock was broken, The glass cups smelled like mold, and candy all over the floors. The walk up the stairs to get to the top floor is TIRING! And a woman was standing in front of the waterpark windows on a phone when we were walking back to our room, and she peeked over the corner and looked at us which was odd. This place is terrible! I understand it that is was offseason and not much was open and we were ok with that but they never told us that their " water park" was 2 slides that weren't even open because there was no life guard and their tiki bar wasn't open either. That is just the beginning the place was dirty and no care for touching up stuff marks or paint chipping . Everything had caked on dirt and dust and when we checked in the room was terrible the refrigerator was all rusted and dirty there was water damage on the ceiling and paint chipping all over the walls and the door frame was broken they did move us but they didn't seem to care that the room was that bad i will never stay their again read more

I would have given it 0 stars if possible. My husband and I rented a suite for $300/night. The first room had a leak in the ceiling. We had to catch the water in our trashcan, which left us without a receptacle. We wouldn't have been too bothered, yet even after 3 calls to the office, and 16 hours to clean up the water and sheetrock, no one even stopped by to see the damage. After yelling a bit, we were offered a new room. Well, the air was stuck on 50° for the first night (and we only packed summer clothing) and then stopped working completely the next day. 3 different maintenance men showed up to "fix" the problem Well, we just returned for the evening, and low and behold, the air is now stuck on 50° once more. Not a great place. But only indoor park. Of course it rained while we were staying at the beach The colorful mats along the side do not appear to be state regulation. Nice hotel in North Wildwood. We got a 2 bedroom, 1 bath suite for 4 adults and 2 kids. It's just about at the end of the northern end of the boardwalk and about a 10 minute walk down to the first pier. It's less crowded and the beach is not miles long. The place was clean, the cleaning staff was super friendly, and took care of our daily sand messes from the kids. Forgot our kids blanket (has had it for 4 years) and they found it and worked with us to arrange its return. So helpful! What I liked: -Water park, indoor pool, outdoor pool -Free hot dogs and beer on the sun deck every Wednesday's -Friendly staff -Spacious room -location-first floor lobby walked right out onto the boardwalk -tiki bar inside water park -restaurant on 1st floor. 10% discount for hotel guests. Bar open late. -parking was plentiful and open air but low indoor parking (maybe 7.5-8ft) -Was able to check in around 2. -we didn't have an ocean front room but some open up to the sun deck so it's like an extended balcony overlooking the boardwalk and beaches. The ocean front rooms on floor 3 that open to the pool are blocked from walking out onto the sun deck because you would literally step into the pool. What I didn't like: -bigger elevators, plan accordingly and you won't wait long -shower was small. Curtain blew in and ours had a whistle. But decent pressure unlike some places I've been. -arcade had some out of order machines -a bit out dated but I've also stayed at some crummy motels and this was way nicer. -pool was smaller and not heated. Ive been bringing my family here for around 20 years. My sons and their friends enjoyed the indoor water park as kids, and now Seaport Pier as adults! The newly designed rooms are beautiful, I book two trips here a year and wont stay anywhere else. read more

We stayed for a family vacation about two weeks ago, in the presidential suite #519. It was just renovated recently this year, and it was really nice. Three king bedrooms, 2 have full bathrooms, one bedroom with double beds, and one common full bathroom. Pull out queen sofa. Two dining room tables, one with six chairs, one with four. Nice big balcony with five chairs facing the boardwalk & the ocean. The beds were comfortable, they don't give you enough towels so make sure you ask for more. As far as the cooking utensils, you get three pots and 2 lids, and one small frying pan (one or 2 eggs). There's a coffee maker but you have to bring your own filters. Plenty of cabinet space for your food. We are a family of 10 so we brought over $400 worth of food and drinks and were able to put everything away. I would suggest going to the dollar store and picking up coffee filters, dishwashing tablets, dishwashing detergent, a new sponge, paper towels, a hand towel, Windex, Lysol wipes, clips for the chips, aluminum foil, and extra cooking utensils if you are planning on cooking like we did. Also, put everything in the dishwasher and run it before you use any of it. Our stuff was a little dirty. The air conditioner in my room was great, the rest of the suite was not. For some reason it didn't seem to get colder than 78°, luckily the weather outside was only about 85. But at night it was very warm to sleep. We came back to the hotel one day to find some type of machine in the hallway because the maintenance guy said that the air conditioner was a block of ice inside. Even after the ice melted the air conditioner still did not work right. My daughter and her boyfriend slept on the pull out bed and said it was pretty comfortable. You can see the mattress was néw. I saw in one of the reviews, if you were not happy with the mattress they will replace it. I did a few loads of laundry on the first floor, make sure you bring quarters, laundry detergent and fabric sheets. Each wash and dry is $2 dollars each and the loader is very small. It worked for what I needed. The indoor pool is clearly for kids, it's less to be desired. It's great if you have nothing to do on a rainy day, or if you have kids 10 and under. From what I was told most of the machines in the game room were off or broken. We didn't try the restaurant. It's a great location, only an eight minute walk to the first pier and the tram leaves you right at the door. Usually we stay in the crest, (Port Royal, Aqua Beach, Royal Hawaiian, Adventurer) but because this room became available and there were so many of us, and instead of getting two rooms, we gave this a shot. I stayed here years ago in a regular room and it was OK but that was over 10 years ago. It's a lot shorter walk to the beach. I was not able to bring the beach chairs from home due to lack of room, and did not see anyone renting them. It could've been too early in the season, as this was mid June. Sundeck is cute, outdoor pool was warm but you can tell It needed some TLC. Parts of the pool were cracking off. The pool is directly in front of some of the ocean front rooms, so there really is no privacy if you stay on the same floor in front of the pool. There's only two elevators, You take the one from the parking garage up to your floor, it wasn't too bad, about a 5 minute wait sometimes. if you look to the left of the elevator, which we found out after our stay, they do have the luggage carts available, they are just hidden behind the wall. Otherwise you have to go inside on the second floor. We needed an extra parking pass, and because the hotel was not that full they gave it to us with no problem. Comes with 2, So we had three in total. One thing I do not understand, that room is a four bedroom suite, yet they say the price is only for six people on Friday and Saturday and eight people Sunday through Thursday. Why would the price be for six people if you have four bedrooms? And each night in June was an extra $15 a person. We were already paying $500 a night. To me the extra person is only needed if you're going in the water park because they give you a wristband and they know how many people are in your suite. Other than that they don't check you. Internet was less to be desired, so if you have a hotspot use it. The weather looked iffy, so one of our kids bought their PlayStation and was able to hook it up and get on the Wi-Fi, and the other one brought their Xbox and it would not hook up at all after two hours and 2 different TVs, so we put that one on the hotspot. Overall it was a very nice stay, and we would definitely do it again. read more

Air conditioning didn't work, kept going to the office and the bitch at front desk gave me an attitude and said maintenance was coming, 8 hours later, still NOTHING. PAID AN ARM AND A LEG AND CAN'T EVEN HAVE AIR CONDITIONING. they switched our room to another one and again , still no working AIR. Place is filthy, Currently sleeping ontop of the dresser. Stayed for a few days. Had to wait to check in to our room even though the hotel wasn't full. Pool and hot tub were open; water park wasn't. No room service either. Had to leave towels outside front door to get new ones. Room was OK. Could be MUCH better with updating and a thorough cleaning. read more

This place is worth 1 star: CONS: *the pool is FREEZING cold-although they advertise that the pool is heated (& verbally confirm when you ask) ...NOT TRUE. * the bathroom overall was in desperate need of repair: the toilet leaked shitty toilet water ALL OVER the floor-enough water to seep out into the room itself; the shower pressure was....well there was NO pressure, & the shower head was hanging on by a thread; * be very careful with contacts and jewelry bc there are no plugs in the drains (sink or shower) PRO: *Housekeeping (Kim) was friendly & helpful. read more
