Ugh. I really wanted to like this place. It's location is so convenient to grab a bite before an evening class. I'll start with the service. Upon entering, there will be a stack of menus next to the register. Take a look and place your order. You will be given a number which you will place at the table of your choice to await your food. The lady at the register seemed bored out of her mind. Like that was the last place on earth that she wanted to be. The server on the other hand was very attentive and friendly. She brought over an order of fried pickles on the house. That was nice. I ordered the "fulle monte" which is described as a "Fresh Pressed 6oz Seasoned Beef Patty With Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Dill Pickles, Grilled Onion, And Garlic Herb Aioli On A Toasted Brioche Bun." Sounds good right? It was the blandest burger I've ever had in my life. Plus the bun was super greasy. I also ordered a side of onion rings that tasted like pure oil. NOPE. This place is like amateur hour for waitstaff. Once when I was in with a friend, the hostess was uncomfortably inflexible about seating us where my friend asked to be seated (despite the entire restaurant being empty), and the staff were so touch-and-go with communications between each other, we'd have 2 waitstaff plus the manager taking turns coming to the table to ask us the same questions while we were there. Another time, I was there with a group and we were there to study and have a beer. We knew we were going to a restaurant -- didn't expect silence -- but the music that was playing was really loud, and just ridiculously profane, sexist,violent, offensive... Like, offensive to a group of college kids. We all kind of went through waves of laughing at how totally oblivious the staff were about how inappropriate this was for a restaurant. It was bad. The last time, I swung by to grab something to eat between classes, but no one seated me. A couple of the waitstaff made eye contact, but never approached me. Another one came up to ring up a bill, asked if I'd been helped, I said no, and he went back to concentrating on the cash register. I waited another few minutes and figured anywhere was better than this place. The food itself is fine. Nothing amazing. They have a small selection of beers on tap, but one of them is almost always tapped out, so have a backup beer in mind when you order. read more

This place is not that great. The food is "eh". Possibly satisfactory at best, but the prices interfere. Every item is over priced. Chips and guacamole seemed like a good deal,tasted great, but I only got about an ounce of guacamole and a handful of chips. Why pay 6 dollars for that? It is ridiculous. I'd spend my money elsewhere. My most recent visit was also horrible. I went with a group of friends, and my friend ordered a veggie burger. They returned back with a meat burger. Please DO NOT EAT here! I'm a student at the university and used to occasionally go here. Last night I went with two friends and was told the wait time would be 45 minutes. Two parties, one of three and the other of five, arrived after us and were seated before us. Then the manager announces they aren't accepting any new tables at all. We had already been waiting an hour at this point and the restaurant still had an hour left before it closed. They said we could order takeout, but offered this deal to everyone who was still waiting. We asked if they could prioritize our order since we had been waiting longer, and they couldn't even promise that. Nothing was offered for our wasted time, no discount, nothing. It was terrible customer service and that manager should be fired for being so inconsiderate. I'm never going back here again. I hope that manager gets fired and never finds work again. If I could, I would give this place negative 60 stars for each minute I wasted here only to be turned away. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. read more

Customer Service was absolutely terrible. First off, if you don't take reservations, maybe you should remove the part that says you do online or at least teach your staff to not accept reservations. (old man = crap) The old man who I assume was the owner or at least manager was rude and has absolutely no knowledge of customer service and the waiter was awful as well. No offense to the guy serving us, but he never brought our appetizers out, He checked on us once (there for almost 2 hours) and he never filled our water glasses. I wish I could blame it on how busy the place was but it wasn't full at all. Also, the food was alright but it took forever to come out as well. The waiter tipped himself 18% without telling me and was kind of a dick as we were leaving. I hate to say this, but I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. The service was great, everyone was very friendly. As for the food quality, I asked for my steak medium-rare and I got it back well done. The difference between the two is very noticeable, and the fact that the steak is served already cut shows that the cook clearly wasn't careful with his/her work because s/he would have been able to tell that the steak wasn't cooked properly. read more

I came here with a friend to to have a beer and sat at the bar. The bartender was extremely nice and served us right away. She was very attentive with all her customers and created a positive atmosphere at the bar. The prices during happy hour are extremely reasonable. I recommend this place for a nice cold beer and some great customer service by the bartender, which is the same one every time. read more
