Al (Alfred) and his team from Frank's were assigned to the job. Al came out to look at what needed to be done; the estimate also included a tub replacement ( I purchased the tub & had it delivered for installation). He also met with the construction contractor (walls had been removed) to discuss what needed to be done from his end. I received the estimate the next day - scope of work was very thorough, detailed & complete. So much so I was able to use it as a punch list for the plumbing work. When time came for plumbing work, Al & his team arrived on time, were completely focused on getting the pipe work updated & completed; tub installation completed on the 2nd visit. On the final visit, faucet installed in the new sink, all plumbing work was inspected by Al & ready for Township Plumbing Inspector. This was not an easy plumbing job by any means. Al & his team from Frank's did an exceptional job - all work was organized, performed professionally, work areas were all cleaned after jobs were completed. Final inspection done by Plumbing Inspector passed with flying colors. Pricing for the job was reasonable, given the amount of work that had to be done. Plumbing gets a 5, cement work 3…read more For the plumbing service I dealt with Ed P. and the work was done by Leo and Joe, who did the complete job in a day. They dug from back downspot to street, laid new piping, added stone by street and backfilled the dirt. Excellent. The cement side was a different issue. I dealt with Ed R. The cement work is subed. When the crew came to dig up the sidewalk I saw on ring camera that they did not remove one of the contracted pads (they were supposed to do 4 pads but only did 3). I contacted Ed R. while they were still at my house. Later that day the three pads were cemented in. That part of sidewalk was well done (even if not all pads were done). A month later a new crew came to dig up the fourth pad, they did mine and the neighbors. Horrible job. They stomped all over my new grass, The new pad near my other ones was too high so they leveled it down the last three inches but you can notice that it's not level, the pads by the grass are sloped down (maybe they didn't pour enough cement), not very smooth surface, and when they cleaned up they did it by my decorative curb (leaving stains on it). Communicaton with Ed R. was lacking.

Edit: To respond to the reply from the business owner (because I'm will come with receipts), we called because it was 52 degrees and dropping in our house where we have animals. The furnace was running but not working. The guy came and told us to take up the carpet the seller placed over a vent that was causing our furnace to overheat and it started heating up immediately. And as for the state of our house, we did have numerous piles of boxes as we had just moved in a few days previous. Insinuating we're messy or something was extremely unprofessional and rude. Also I attached a picture of the time he offered us that was 4-6pm, he makes it sound like they came out at 8pm to fix it. I already messaged him privately telling him if he had come to me and told me he thought three stars was more fair I would have changed it but after that response he earned a one star. Edit 2: I did want to point out one last thing, even if we hadn't just moved in and we were just box hoarders or something it's a really awful mindset to have that we don't deserve y'all to come out and fix our heating when it's close to or in the negatives outside. The estimate was done in a timely manner and was professional. I do like that the owner gave me the estimate right away on the spot and seemed to know the cost of materials. I appreciated the timely manner of the estimate and the professionalism, I always do at least 3-4 estimates before scheduling any job, so it'll remain to be seen whether I go with Bright Star, but I always live by the rule to get at least a few estimates for any job over $500. EDIT: I did find their quote to be on the higher side after getting a comparing estimate, but it could have just been this particular job.

Low and behold they never showed up, I called company back to be informed that they were running at a full delay and that they promised they would have someone out today to fix it but no time frame, they called me back a couple hours later said still running behind but rest assured we will have someone one out tonight. Received a call back around 5:30ish and was told they won't have anyone to do the work tonight, asked for a manager and was hung up on. I called back spoke with manger Van and he told me that the guy who was scheduled to do my service left early and couldn't get anyone to take the job, was offered to reschedule and 10% of the service. Told him 10 % was unacceptable and he hung up on me after it told him to just cancel everything. I can't say enough about New Era Heating and Cooling! This past Friday, I came home from work to…read morefind the thermostat reading 61 degrees and the weather prediction calling for record freezing temperatures all weekend. My husband reached out to New Era and reported the problem - it was after 5:00 pm and the woman he spoke to took his number and said she'd get back to him. We had little faith that we'd hear anything back, but were surprised to receive a call back within the half hour with the news that John would be over within the next 20 minutes. John was professional, friendly, and went above and beyond. Our furnace was beyond repair (It was 20+ years old), but he somehow got it to partially operate to get us through the weekend. He also assisted in getting our fireplace going so that we would have adequate heat. We made arrangements to purchase a new furnace (at a price that was considerably lower than what we had been quoted by T-Mark a few months earlier) and promised that he would be back first thing Monday morning. He wouldn't accept payment for the service call that night. On Sunday evening we received a phone call from Bev who was calling to check on us, and to confirm that John would be over at 9:00 am on Monday. We had about a foot of snow that fell overnight and my husband and boys were out shoveling at about 8:00 am when John arrived. Rather than leave and come back an hour later, or sit in his warm truck, he asked if they had an extra shovel and helped them clear the driveway! John got quickly to work removing our old furnace and installing the new one - he also replaced the humidifier filter and made sure that everything was operating correctly. While i pray that we won't have another heating issue anytime soon, I intend to contact New Era again in the spring to replace our AC unit. I would also wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone else with an HVAC need!
