When I paid for a Moo Moo car wash using my credit card, I was unwittingly subscribed to a monthly plan that I did not want. I went to the car wash office to request a cancellation, but the attendee informed me that he couldn't help me. I spent hours waiting on hold for their customer service, and eventually I was able to cancel the subscription. However, my day was ruined by this experience, as we too often hear horror stories about that are way too difficult to cancel. While I was waiting for a call back, I googled another "Moo Moo" number that turned out to be a place that preys on Moo Moo subscription victims. I will never use Moo Moo again due to their underhanded practices. I spent hours trying to get out of this subscription, as consumers have way too little protection these days. read more

On Monday December 22nd at approximately 9:45 am I stopped at this Moo Moo express to get my truck washed. I paid for the service and proceeded to drive to the entrance. To my surprise there was no attendant in sight. I kept driving forward when this young woman came out finally with an attitude. She was extremely rude and disrespectful . That's when I noticed a small sign lower than my truck that I missed when I drove in, she was ordering me to go back to it. I have never been to this place before and I am not familiar with their protocols, that does not give this woman the right to treat me in this manner. There are plenty of good places to get my car washed in this area. I will never be returning to this place again. The dryer doesn't come close to drying the back window of a small SUV. Bring a towel to finish what you paid for. This isn't common to all locations. The one in Hilliard works very well. read more

The brushes never take off all the dirt and salt. Leave behind streaks and smear marks. Traffic here is horrible. Line blocks the traffic lane to get into the business. Thru traffic has a terrible time. There should also be a rules. If you don't know how to put your car in neutral, don't understand that you don't hit the gas to go thru, or have never used a rail car wash, you don't get to go through. read more

The underbody. This is an area you should be aware of during the winter time in your vehicle. Thats where most of the salt is, thats where salt will do the most damage, and that's where it's the most difficult for a human being to clean. My purchase today (creme de la creme) included "underbody clear coat". This was interesting considering the aforementioned underbody concerns. After leaving the wash and noticing that I never saw anything spray beneath my car, I took a peek below to see the state of it. The bottom of my car was SATURATED in preexisting salt. Moo moo did not touch this area at all. I cancelled my subscription and went to a hand washing station. Sure it will wash your car, but to do it all at once... come on. Water, soap, rinse, and dry at the same time. Basically this car wash on Sawmill is so crammed and compacted into this little plot of space that it makes trying to get in and out a nightmare. I went one day to get my car washed and the line was backed up out onto the main road and if you've been to this car wash then you know how bad traffic can get on sawmill. I watched almost two accidents happen in the short time frame I had driven by and turned around. The vacuums work great, if you are lucky enough to find and empty spot. I go to this Moo Moo to wash my personal car and frequently to wash my company car. All of the employees there are ALWAYS friendly and eager to help. My company car has a magnet mounted "school transportation" sign on the roof. It has to be removed before I go through the wash. The magnets are so strong that I can not remove it myself. The employees always happily remove it for me and reinstall it when I am done with the wash. Today Gino noticed that one of my tires was low. He filled the tire with air and checked all of the others. He noticed that another one had a nail in it. Gino was so kind and helpful. I wish I knew the name of the other employees so that I could acknowledge them also for always doing a great job. It seems to me that customer is a rare commodity these days, but at Moo Moo you can find it in abundance! read more

This location of Moo Moo's is just fine. In only considering the quality of the actual car wash, I would probably give it a 4/5, but it loses another star due to the location itself - this place is CRAMPED! I stopped by on a Tuesday at around 2 PM and was shocked at how busy it was; cars were so backed up that they were lined up out onto the street. There just simply isn't a lot of room here on this little corner intersection, so unless you come at a completely random off-time (which I actually kind of thought I was), you'll probably have to wait for a bit in close quarters. I felt a little bit stressed as I waited in the queue line and wished that I was further away from other cars. For the wash itself, I typically really like Moo Moo's cheaper options. The lower levels of their washes tend to do a great job for the price, and I'm always satisfied when I leave. My car isn't spotless, but you get what you pay for. I will say that there was one time where I did actually choose the most expensive wash, and I decided to never do it again due to the fact that I still left with some grime on my car. In my opinion, if you're paying for the most expensive option at a car wash, your car should come out looking pretty flawless. Nevertheless, ever since I went back to the cheaper washes I'm always happy with Moo Moo. Overall, great car wash, but choose a different location if you can. My favorite Moo Moo I've found thus far is the one on Morse Road ("Northland") - it's huge! read more

Worst location by far. They tried to put it on a lot that's way too small for the size they need. The exit to the car wash spits you out right into the entrance where people are trying to come in and get to the vacuums. I can definitely see accidents happening here. Also the turn to get into the car wash is way too tight. The girl directing had no idea what she was doing and told me to keep getting over to the point where my hubcap got stuck on the thing and a piece of it snapped off. When I went back to get the piece afterwards she said she had no idea where it was so I had to search through the grass and find it myself. Their vacuums suck!! Really, they suck every french fry from every crevice of your car, even the smooshed ones your kid chewed up and sat on for a month. The facility is kept immaculate, and the staff is friendly and helpful. This is the only car wash I trust with a new car. I have been a wash pass subscriber for a year, and now they have made a great deal even better, by dropping the price of monthly wash packages, and adding additional value with VIP care bags for Crem de la Creme subscribers. They called today to say the claim was denied because they reviewed footage and their was "prior damage". There was 100% NOT prior damage. I've been to two locations: the one closest to my home on Sawmill Rd. and the one on Morse Rd close to Karl. Rd. Both locations are awesome. Morse Rd. has more land to work with including a total of about 20 free vacuum ports while the Sawmill location is smaller and limited to 8 free vacuum ports but they make good use to the small corner lot that they have. They stay fully staffed with friendly smiles of the attendants ready to either take your payments or answer questions you may have. I decided to purchase the monthly package of $15 a month. It saves me money over time. I can wash my car over and over again as many times as I want to. I figured that paying $5-8 per wash can add up and be more than the monthly cost. They have three or four monthly packages you can choose from. The car wash uses high quality brushes that don't leave circles or scratches on your car surface and doesn't leave any soapy or hard water residue. This franchise has become one of my favorites and you can't beat having a free vacuum service when you may have to pay at least $1.50 for a vacuum that only lasts 2 minutes and you can't clean everything in time. I'm knocking some stars off this time because I paid for the whole milk car wash which means basically everything should be included in this package to clean your car at the wash. I come out of my car noticing the back of my car still had been dirty and it didn't look like the brushes at this car wash did a decent job to clean that area. I typically won't spend $10 to wash my car and in the past before these car wash places opened, I would have never gone through a car wash place to wash my car. Although because it became trend, I was starting to do it more and more because I didn't have time to wash my own car, but now I see if you wash your own car you basically are saving yourself the time, money and hassle of redoing what a car wash missed. My advice to anyone that does notice this in the future, is to address it with the guys at the car wash so you get what you paid for. I have came here for over 2 years. I just got my membership recently. I got a car wash right before thanksgiving and they left a massive scratch on the left side of my car. I talked to them about it and they said they would send me video of it on there before they washed my car. I have yet to receive said video Then I was told that it could have happened after I left since I was out of town for thanksgiving and the car was parked in my garage the whole time. I brought up his contradiction over the phone and he even forgot what he was saying. I do believe they did scratch my car and are not willing to pay to fix it. They also offer doggy bones if you have your dog in the car with you! I have done this twice... however bringing a dog through the car wash is not a great idea as it could frighten them and it presents a challenge when you are vacuuming up their hair. I just really like moo moo and all their locations in general. Due to my second job and the nature of delivering groceries to people I have to keep my car clean inside and out. Their hours are usually very good and work with both my first and second job. So there is always always a moo moo like near where one of my jobs so it makes it super convenient. I know that moo moos do get very congested and crazy during their peak season so I usually avoid the craziness by going super early or super late which usually has worked for me. I love their locations because it's always down the street from my jobs. And it helps me keep my car clean whenever I really need it and get the receipts the build up in my car after a week or even a few days of grocery delivery. I bought the unlimited washes because I found that I go to the car washes so many times it just paid for itself and I like having a clean car whenever I want and being able to vacuum it out for free too. I definitely would suggest this because it's inexpensive and it is literally everywhere especially if you are someone like me who travels all over Columbus for her jobs. The back of my car was washed, but definitely not dried. Overall, I was satisfied with the wash. The vacuum, however, was really pathetic. During my car wash a piece of metal fell from the machine and damaged my car. This caused a large noise and significant damage to the roof and hood of my vehicle. To the point where the noise was so loud when the metal crashed down the operator shut down the entire car wash off. Nick Jeunelot was the manager on duty during the incident. We filled out a vehicle incident report. Thereafter I was told I would receive a phone call back in 72 hours. Since then I have called the car wash 3 times and never received a call back. TLDR (Too Long; Didn't Read) / BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front) -- Pros & Cons: + Worth considering mainly if buying a monthly pkg; will get value for money because unlimited (IMHO must use in winter for underbody spray to minimize accelerated corrosion from salt road treatments) + Monthly pass valid at all locations in your area - Sawmill Rd location (north of Hard) always failed to rinse all suds from right side of my 4Runner (Henderson Rd location was better and more thoroughly washed and rinsed) - Employee nor receipt disclosed I would be signed up for auto monthly payment/renewal + I called Sawmill Rd location and gladly and quickly canceled my monthly billing and refunded me the month I didn't use. More (blah, blah, blah)... If you want to use an automatic carwash, Moo Moo Express is worth considering. The wash bay uses brushes (i.e., not touchless). Employees do not spray a pre-soak but do walk around your entire vehicle to visually inspect for problems prior to you entering the bay. This one on Sawmill Road (about a tenth of a mile north of Hard Rd) is on a smaller lot with less driving space, but it is navigable (just use your defensive driving skills). My two opportunities for improvement of their business and/or this specific location: 1) When washing during Jan. 2020 (I only mention specific time as I don't know if they've corrected it since), my Toyota 4Runner would always come out with soap suds on my front right and rear right fenders (suds were still present even _after_ rinse AND blowers). I found the Henderson Rd location was more thorough and my vehicle came out cleaner. However, both locations never seemed to clean well enough on the back of my vehicle on the recessed portion of my liftgate by the license plate (probably a Moo Moo engineering design compromise--don't have too much pressure with rotating brush on rear of vehicle to avoid damage). 2) When I bought my monthly wash package Dec. 2020, there was no discussion or reminder that I would be automatically billed every month thereafter. Perhaps I missed a small font disclosure on the sign on the gate arm?! Regardless, the employee should have disclosed that (she didn't), AND the receipt she gave me didn't disclose that either (which it should have with instructions on how to cancel). Closing thoughts: General consensus is car washing is a good thing especially in the winter (salt water accelerates the rusting process - https://sciencing.com/salt-water-rust-metals-5150093.html)--IMHO it is a "must" one get the wash with underbody spray. Frankly, I think underbody spray should be standard on all wash packages because that, of all places, is a spot you are practically never going to wash yourself. I was first approached with a wonderful smile from Nick - I was having a rough week as my father has recently passed away and I thought getting a car wash would help clear my mind. The moment I arrived, Nick made me feel incredibly welcomed! He was patiently waiting as I was trying to make my decision on which service I wanted. I just laid down my father to rest and did not have much money in my pocket so I went with the $8 wash. As I was vacuuming my car, Nick approached me with a flyer for the $5 donation towards the kids and he explained it in a wholeheartedly way that sold me on donating! I proceeded to ask him if I would be able to get a single wipe to clean my dashboard and he said he would like to run me back through the wash butt his time, getting the top notch service I was not able to afford! There should not be black greasy residue on the bottom strips of our cars that we have to wipe clean everytime we leave there. About a month ago I was vacuuming my car and like an idiot, i locked myself out of the car without my phone, keys, or purse. I went inside to ask to use the phone. The attendent not only helped get a hold of AAA, he got me a chair to relax in and then attempted to unlock my car for me as AAA said they would be 40 minutes. He literally tried to open my door with a tool he made for a half an hour. Ultimately it was unsuccessful and AAA came to fix it, but the guy was SO NICE.
