On Friday morning, I was shopping at PicNSave on the NS and decided to stop in to Moody's since I missed their Grand Opening. What an amazing place! The minute I walked in the door I was welcomed by the owner, Ferris. It was hard to decide what to try off the menu, since they offer a variety of Breakfast items, Hot Sandwiches, Cold Subs/Wraps and many other choices. Every single item is made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. I tried some of the homemade desserts that looked like a pinwheel and had a date like filling. Amazing! The owner told me that his wife makes all of the bakery items from scratch. I plan on going back since I believe in supporting small businesses. Today was my first experience at Moody's Subs (previously Rustic Subs) located on the NS by PicNSave. What an amazing place! The menu consists of a Breakfast Menu, Salads, Hot Sandwiches, Cold Subs/Wraps and so much more. Also, specialty items like a Falafel sandwich (from scratch) Every single item is made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Looking for something unique to bring for Easter Dessert? AMAZING staff & service. We walked in & the man behind the counter greeted us, & offered us a sample of all 3 of the soups they had that day. All of which were delicious. Ambiance is pretty typical of the gyro shops/delis nearby. Restaurant is clean & well stocked. Food is VERY tasty. Hummus is the best in town, & the falafel is awesome too. They also have a dessert case that looks phenomenal, but I have yet to try anything. They also have a few other middle eastern goods for sale. THIS PLACE IS A MUST TRY! read more

My friend and I went because we heard they had the Dubai chocolate covered strawberries and this place did not disappoint. When we got there the man who rang us up was SO SWEET and excited to share a video with us someone made that has been boosting their store. The strawberries themselves were 100/10 incredible and the workers were so polite and charismatic. the price was 15 dollars for one cup of strawberries which I think is totally reasonable and worth it. Good till the last bite! Such nice staff at the register with clear conscious effort to make my meal just exactly perfect! Cooks and baker are amazing! Tried a spinach pocket appetizer and a little cheesy bread bowl appetizer. Both were warmed for me and so yummy! Had the falafel sandwich for my main course which I loved last time so I got it again! The food here is so fresh and delicious--you really can't go wrong! We had the steak chipotle soup, the chicken orzo soup, a beef schwarma sandwich, and a buffalo chicken wrap as well as a lotus cheesecake, and I can't begin to express how amazing everything was. This was my 1st time at Moodys ! A friend of mine recommended this place ! I just have to say the owner Fares , is so nice ! Offered me samples of all their soups ! This place is a must to eat at! You will always be greeted with a smile when entering & more than likely be offered a few of their amazing soups to sample. I almost always order the Leonardo Da Veggie because it's just that good! I also love that it's a locally owned and the atmosphere is great inside. I recently visited Moody's Subs & Sweets after reading about them in the Kenosha News. Their Beef Shawarma Pita was out of this world. The flavors were rich and tasty. One of the best shawarma's I've had in a long time. The french fries were cooked to a perfect crispy outside and soft inside. I can't wait to come back and try out the rest of the menu. read more

Terrific food! the Mama Mia panini was loaded with beef, mushrooms, onions, cheese and so much flavor! Grilled brioche bun which I've never had before! My son had the Chicken Shawarma grilled sandwich and was very tasty. Mediterranean fare as well as traditional subs, panini and wraps. Tried there California cold sub and it was very good. For the price you get a decent amount of turkey, vegetables were fresh and didn't over power the meat ratio. They have a good selection of deserts, cheesecake looked very good. They also have Mediterranean food like hummus, etc. Will come again, this area needs a good sandwich place. read more

If you are looking for the world's greatest falafel, this is your place...hands down. From their subs, incredible homemade soups, ohhhh the fries, panini's and delicious desserts.
