My first time at Poke Plus and my first time having Poke. My daughter took us here for dinner and it was quite good. My daughter suggested the Badger Bowl. It is a little spicy, a two out of ten on any spice meter. It comes with salmon and tuna and was delicious. The employees were working hard and were friendly. This is a small place with only a few tables, but was very clean and well organized. Three Poke bowls and drinks was about $60, which seemed reasonable. read more

Stopped in here for lunch with friends on a Monday afternoon and we are happy we did! The food was fresh and delicious! I like that they had some easy - to - order menu specials to get you started if you're a little unfamiliar ordering Poke. There was plenty of seating for a quick lunch- maybe around 5 tables that seat 4 people each. Cute ambiance. The service was good; quick and efficient. This was a great & healthy lunch option. 5 stars for spoke Plus Kenosha. I had the regular build your own bowl and they were fantastic and a good portion size for a meal. But if you're feeling very hungry, they have two larger sizes above this one. All the ingredients were very fresh, I recommend the spicy tuna and spicy salmon for your bowl along with adding on their seaweed salad to the bowl. I also saw they have appetizers and teriyaki entrees, I'll have to try those next time. There is plenty of seating inside if you wanted to dine in. While looking for a quick lunch, I landed at Poke Plus. Service was extremely fast, and food was delicious. Given that it was Monday, I was the only customer dining in. But there were many take-out customers coming in and out while I was eating. The portion size was generous and, let's not forget, delicious. It's quite easy to order - There were lots of signs to help you. If you get stuck like I was, the employee at Poke Plus was helpful to guide you through. Food was great. Service was great. Location is great. I like the non-chain-coporate vibes of the poke place, right off the freeway in Kenosha. It does feel more like a Chinese fast food restaurant inside, possibly because the owners are Chinese. Poke bowls are customizable, like a subway sandwich, with everything in plain sight. Just point and pick. You can even skip rice and get mix greens (great for keto). I went with the spicy salmon and poke salmon and the flavor was great. All the toppings were fresh and well balanced. The only thing is... the plate that the poke comes in is the lid to the teriyaki bowl. So size is smallish and the bowl (lid) is flimsy. not sure what happens when you order to go. Also if you get rice instead of greens, I don't think the hot rice will be good on this lid. So... while I appreciate the ingenious way of not wasting unused lids... it felt sort of cheap. The teriyaki chicken is also great. Flavors were quite good and everything was made fresh. we didn't ask for it, but the owner came out with cups of water for us as we were eating. OMG... who would have "thunk"? Being from Cali, we did NOT expect to find a great poke bowl place in Kenosha, Wisconsin!!! Much less in a very small strip mall in Kenosha! I got the Signature Bowl and my hubby got the Badger bowl! WOW - the fish was fresh and delicious... I'm also from Hawaii and for sure the quality matches up with Foodland Farms - yummy fresh veggies, my ogo was so ono! My hubby loved his bowl as well. A lot of food! Highly recommend, especially if you are in Kenosha, WI and craving a good poke bowl!! I really like Poke Plus in Kenosha. I've dined in twice and order for delivery occasionally. The food is always well prepared and tastes light and fresh. If you've never had a poke bowl it's like a love child between a salad and sushi roll. Tons of different toppings and sauce options. Love the spicy tuna and spicy Mayo/yum yum sauce. Plus they have items marked gluten free! Win win! read more

Randomly stopped here for dinner while traveling. It's a small Subway like place in a strip mall, nothing fancy. We ordered two build your own regular sized poke bowls and a coconut bubble tea. Stopped here for lunch one day while I was in the area. I did the order ahead option as I wanted to pick it up quickly. When I got there, they had my order ready and everything was how i asked it to be. I ordered the 2 protein bowl option with spicy tuna and ahi tuna. I didn't expect the spicy tuna to be a pattè-esque consistency. That threw me off a bit, but it was still good. I like the ahi tuna chunks though too. I didn't wish you got a little more as far as the amount of ahi tuna goes. I also added in carrots, broccoli, corn, seaweed salad (extra $) and edamame. Overall, I was really happy with the quality of the food and the freshness. Would definitely come back again if I'm in the area. read more

Back home, there's a poke restaurant with a similar menu style with comparable prices, but with WAY more poke, rice, and all your fixings - more bang for your buck. Don't waste your time. We walked in and the overwhelming smell of poorly shipped and stored fish just absolutely overwhelmed us and we had to walk out. Do yourself a favor. Get back in your car, drive across the parking lot to Woodman's and buy your own Ahi Tuna, Salmon, Crab and shrimp with some rice and your favorite fixings and make your own poke and avoid this second rate spot read more

Have seen many restraunt attempt to thrive in this building. None that really wowed me. But holy smokes- this cuisine is was so needed in this area. Have been there already twice this week - it's Tuesday... have not yet dined in but food made to go has been fresh both times. So important with this type of cuisine. When they first opened, they were super generous and upbeat when building your bowl. I think over time it became too much with people asking to add more and more, because she didn't really encourage and kept a stoic look. So I didn't press. The bowls priced here are comparable to other local places... $14-$16. They have burritos and those are $15+. The appetizers are like $7+, so it's a little more expensive than fast food, but I would argue that it's much healthier and worth the added cost. They also have a punch card, so buy 10 bowls and get the 11th free. This time, my wife and I both got a spicy salmon bowl and it was great as usual. We will be back.
