We even ventured to try their housemade donut holes. These were more like a cakepop without a stick. Very good and a great donut alternative! There is lots of seating inside, and the back room offers more space to spread out. The place was packed when we visited. Seemed like a popular spot for Father's Day morning. While I probably won't be in the area to visit again anytime soon, if you're nearby, Lady Blume is totally worth checking out.

I was skeptical because gluten free products usually contain a ton of ingredients that you can't pronounce. I opened the package, took one bite and it was over for me. My mind was blown to pieces with the peanut butter goodness. I immediately ordered more and waited for them to be delivered. A week later I followed up because they still hadn't come, Lila responded to me way after business house telling me that they were marked as delivered - she felt terrible and would get us more cookies asap. Turned out that SOMEONE HAD STOLEN OUR COOKIES!!! I felt compelled to tell her that I had just gotten married and didn't have 1 problem with our registry stuff but when someone saw baked goods from Lilajay's they couldnt contain themselves and nabbed them. Needless to say, we received a new box of cookies with all sorts of extras and a really nice handwritten note congratulating us on our recent nuptials. Takes me back to my childhood when my mom would make Mexican hot chocolate and get my brothers and I each a large concha. For the price, the size of the conchas is perfect. I like the flan there as well. Most places put way too much sugar but here it is the perfect amount of sweetness. The custard is silky and so well flavored and the caramel adds just a touch of sweetness. They have many Mexican pastries that you can't find elsewhere. They also have a bulk section for nuts, spices, honey, water, candy, coffee, etc. and offer everything else a grocery store would. The prices are a bit higher than other grocery stores, but you're paying for quality. Everything is fresh, the store is always so clean, and people are for the most part always friendly. They hire people with special needs, which in my opinion, is my favorite part of visiting there. Their butchers are always so friendly and helpful. Their only downfall is SOME of their cashiers. They often are lost in their own conversations, and do not greet or engage their customers. They can come across as rude or unfriendly for this reason. But over all, Olivers is my go to spot for all local meats, delicious and beautiful cakes, and to-go food. Highly recommend.

This is a *working* bakery and, walking inside, you stand amidst all of the equipment that goes into baking. Yes you can walk in (not too far in, it's tiny). Yes you can buy breads (& pretzels). Yes it may take a few minutes as the Bakers will walk out from baking "in the back" to assist you in your purchase. Yes they have a cowbell. Yes you may just have to "ring" it over and over. And over again. No big deal. Just get your bread because the bread is what you're there for. I've been here 3 times since I moved to the area and I love it. The employees have all been nice and accommodating and attentive (once they're out front with you). Also. If I cannot get to the bakery I have to be sure to hit up our local Whole Foods store *early* because ....1. that's where I'll find their French loaf (I love that they supply our local WF w/their breads!); 2. their breads are so good that if I go any later than 10am (11am, latest!), the store will be out of our favorites!
