Aside from beautiful fresh artisan breads, they have a unique selection of baked goods such as pumpkin tea cakes, coffee filled morning buns, galettes, cranberry tarts, savory scones, vanilla crumb donuts, and vegan options. It is difficult to make a decision on what to get because everything looks delicious. It's a good thing the staff is patient with all their customers. I wanted to take a few home for the kids. I settled for a jam pocket, chocolate croissant, apple cinnamon scone, pistachio filled morning bun, and a sun-dried tomato, fennel, feta and spinach roll. The specialty coffee drinks also look amazing! I already had my coffee but I really wish I could've tried one of theirs. I think there was a marshmallow latte that looked intriguing! While I waited for my husband to pay, I tried one of the peanut butter cookie samples on top of the counter. Then we left. Guess what! After we had brunch with friends, we went back to Red Bird around 11:45 am because I really wanted a peanut butter cookie. Most things were sold out!!! Thank goodness they still had a couple of cookies left. Like I said, get there early or else they'll sell out!!

I was skeptical because gluten free products usually contain a ton of ingredients that you can't pronounce. I opened the package, took one bite and it was over for me. My mind was blown to pieces with the peanut butter goodness. I immediately ordered more and waited for them to be delivered. A week later I followed up because they still hadn't come, Lila responded to me way after business house telling me that they were marked as delivered - she felt terrible and would get us more cookies asap. Turned out that SOMEONE HAD STOLEN OUR COOKIES!!! I felt compelled to tell her that I had just gotten married and didn't have 1 problem with our registry stuff but when someone saw baked goods from Lilajay's they couldnt contain themselves and nabbed them. Needless to say, we received a new box of cookies with all sorts of extras and a really nice handwritten note congratulating us on our recent nuptials. I will continue to spread the word on how delicious the cookies are, and how wonderful the customer experience was. Thank you so much Lila!!! Oh and... the Peanut Butter O reallyz are pretty much the best thing I've ever had in my life.

Their produce at two price points of conventional and organic, their meat section offering all local and fresh options, their bakery is delicious and so beautiful, their deli with to-go food and sandwiches, and the soups are amazing, their taco and sushi bar, along with their hot food and salad bar all cannot be beat. They also have a bulk section for nuts, spices, honey, water, candy, coffee, etc. and offer everything else a grocery store would. The prices are a bit higher than other grocery stores, but you're paying for quality. Everything is fresh, the store is always so clean, and people are for the most part always friendly. They hire people with special needs, which in my opinion, is my favorite part of visiting there. Their butchers are always so friendly and helpful. Their only downfall is SOME of their cashiers. They often are lost in their own conversations, and do not greet or engage their customers. They can come across as rude or unfriendly for this reason. But over all, Olivers is my go to spot for all local meats, delicious and beautiful cakes, and to-go food. Highly recommend.
