Love this place, feels like home to me, granted I am Vietnamese and do understand what they are saying. I'd recommend bringing someone who knows how to speak if you want to maximum experience, but these women know what they're doing! They're all sweet, I ended up getting a luxury pedicure for myself, I believe it was #6, came with collagen and orange crème. My wife wanted the full set and care, they treated her first class! Super grateful for this place, highly recommend!

I went to Moon Nails with no appointment and was immediately taken care of by Vivian. I asked for short almond nails in a white color with chrome and she did a great job! It took about an hour and it was $60 for an acrylic fill with the chrome. Would come here again.

I was very uncomfortable getting my nails done. The nail lady was amazing and very sweet but the upselling was horrendous. I denied getting a massage because I'm not a huge fan. She proceeded to grab my shoulder and start massaging it without my permission. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of Hannah. Otherwise it would have been 1

My husband usually comes here for his eyebrow clean-ups, so I decided to treat myself to a mani/pedi with an ombré design. The team here is always so friendly and inviting. They even remembered that I brought my mom early this year when she was visiting from out of state! They really do make you feel like family. I wanted to give a full 5 stars, but I noticed a few small nicks in my gel manicure as I was driving off, and the top coat wasn't quite as smooth as I'm used to. That said, I'm sure if I had mentioned it while I was still there, they would've gladly fixed it on the spot: that's just the kind of great service and welcoming vibe they have. I'll definitely be back! read more

I moved to Scripps Ranch recently and needed a nail salon close by. I've been to Vivian twice for a fill and she always does beautiful work shaping with French tips. She shows me the different colors on my nails before I decide. Cindy does my toes and the deluxe pedicure package includes a relaxing foot massage. I love it! read more

I've been coming to the same ladies for over two years and always have a great experience. Tina does my pedicures and she consistently does an amazing job. My favorite part is her foot and leg massage -- it's so relaxing and something I really look forward to every visit. Rose does my manicures and she's fantastic, especially with more detailed or difficult designs. She's a true perfectionist and always takes her time to make sure everything looks just right. Both of them are talented, professional, and make the experience enjoyable. I highly recommend booking with Tina for pedicures and Rose for manicures! read more

Wonderful service from Vivian & Cindy. They are very reasonably priced, it was very easy to get same day appointment. I enjoyed the hot spa deluxe pedicure which was high end pedicure but under $50! They have variety of dip colors and everyone was very friendly. read more

DONT GET YOUR NAILS DONE BY ANN!! Here's my first and last experience. My sister and I came in to get our nails done for her birthday. We both wanted acrylic sets and immediately Nina started on her while I had to wait 20 minutes. After waiting for awhile, Ann started on me but seemed very rushed, her application of the tips were horrible (see photos) and she barely put any glue on so as she was filling, one of the tips flew off and she had to redo it. She also cut the tips crooked and too short only on a few nails. I also don't think she should have been working because of this nasty cough she had (one of the ones where you cough up mucus). So she was coughing the whole time. Right as she finishes applying the tips, she just stands up and leaves. And doesn't come back for a whole 10 minutes while I'm asking where she went and if someone else could do my nails. So the manager sat down and applied the acrylic. You could see by his facial reaction with how bad the application was. And I brought to his attention that some of the nails were WAY too short compared to the others. So he had to get the acrylic back out because I didn't want him to take the whole nail off to redo it. So he rebuilt it to make it longer (which is the photo where you could see my ring and middle nails are thicker than the rest). Ann eventually came back and it seemed like he was teaching her how to do it correctly and she got back to finishing the nails. By this time my sister is already done with her nails. It's already been well over an hour at this point and I'm not even halfway through. Ann wasn't shaping the nails the way I kindly asked and I kept asking her to fix the crooked ones she already shaped and she straight up says, "so this is how I do it, I do the nails one at a time." Looking at me as if I was stupid not knowing how nails work and having a shape preference. Speaking in a very condescending tone, you could tell she was very annoyed but I'm not sure why since the whole point of a service industry is paying good money for a job well done. I also made a point to be very respectful during this whole encounter because I understand a bad day but I still need to stand up for a service that I'm paying for. At that moment I went silent because I am not paying money to be spoken to like that. Once she finished shaping I got up and said that I'm not letting her finish the rest. So yes, I left with just an acrylic base. Here is what I was left with (see photos). I do my own gelx nails at home so I know what a job well done looks like and these are so bad. They still charged me $40 along with my sisters set that looked great. All in all, I will never be coming back. These people seem to not care about quality nor experience. Please go somewhere else. read more

Do not recommend for dip powder nails. The worst I've ever gotten. The lady was really going to finish up my nails without evenly filling down the nails. They looked lumpy and uneven. After I asked her she said she needs to let them dry. I've never had a nail tech tell me they need to wait to have my nails dry before being filed down. She went to go someone's pedicure came back and they were still not filed down evenly. Her excuse was that they were dip powder... if she doesn't know how to do dip powder then she probably shouldn't take clients that request it. Also got a gel pedicure and they were alright. read more

Went to Moon to have a manicure with Rose and a pedicure with Tina. They are both amazing!! I like my nails a medium length and to look nice and natural and Rose always delivers, it might be why she's the only person to do my nails for the last 4 years. My toes are so pampered by Tina, she makes my feet look so pretty. And the leg massage is so relaxing I want to take a 2 hour nap. read more

I should have asked, but I assumed it would be part of the original service I booked due to the way she was offering it. It took less than a minute - 2 quick strips. At the end of the appointment, she told the receptionist to add on a charge for inner thighs which ended up being $26 in addition to the original service I booked. If I had known that I would need to pay $26 for less than a minute of waxing, I would have declined, so I would have appreciated her being clear about the extra cost.

But two weeks later I am still dealing with the aftermath, so here we are. Starting with the good: the host, who I believe may be the owner, was genuinely great. Personable, funny, and he made a point to ask and remember every single customer's name. That kind of warmth is rare and sets a really welcoming tone. Now for the rest of it. I came in for the deluxe pedi, listed at $43 on the menu I was handed. It was the most painful pedicure I have ever had. The technician used an extremely rough file on my feet and cut me while clipping my nails, at which point I asked her to stop using clippers altogether. Not a relaxing experience by any stretch. As for the hard gel mani, she was not distracted or splitting her attention, she simply took two full hours on my nails. I went slightly short in length and chose a plain solid color. Nothing complicated. She had the same aggressive approach with the nail file throughout, and two weeks later I am still dealing with hangnails and rough skin. That is ultimately what pushed me to finally write this. Then came checkout, handled by the host himself. As warm as he is, the math did not work out. I was told my mani was $55 and my pedi was $48, coming to $103 cash/venmo or $104 with card. No explanation was given for the difference. Nice people do not always equal a good experience. I will not be returning.

Convinced that they "ruined" my natural lashes (the extensions and no breaks likely contributed to it), I caved in around 2020-2021 and got them on and off during that time. I caved in (again)! I actually discovered Suzie a while ago but didn't end up scheduling until sometime later (last month). So far, I've had two sessions with Suzie and her work is as-expected in terms of quality, speed, and professionalism. Price-wise, she is on par with others that are certified in the area. What Suzie stands out for is her actual studio, personality, and other "personal" touches. Hands down, Suzie has the cleanest, prettiest, and most calming studio / beauty salon I've been to (and I've been to 4 different lash ladies before her!). I think this reflects how Suzie is both as a person and as a beauty professional. Suzie is super sweet and nice to chat with, which is great when passing time during the lash fills. I can tell she listens and cares for her clients! For instance, she asked me why I stopped getting extensions as she was concerned about any allergies. I told her I don't have any allergies (to the glue), but that my lashes just became weak overtime. I was glad when she told me my lashes are not "as bad" as I keep thinking and that she has seen "worse"! Suzie also provides a cute care package with maintenance instructions, pricing, and two spoolies for brushing your lashes. Furthermore, her salon has lash-related products in her store, such as lash shampoo and a lash brush (sturdier version, not the ones that you can throw away/one-use). I bought lash shampoo during my first visit and they've definitely helped keep my lashes clean! Another thing that stood out to me is that Suzie encourages using lash serums! I told her that I was advised in the past that that wasn't OK to do. She said, "Nope, that's a lie." That stuck with me since I knew my lashes were taking a beating from the extensions, and was disappointed when I was told I (apparently) couldn't use lash serum with extensions. If you are close to her studio and can front the initial and maintenance costs, I highly recommend Suzie! Thank you, Suzie, for keeping my lashes full and beautiful :)

I have used Moon Nails for my mani/pedi services for years. John is a pro with the dipping gels, and Thi has the best spa pedicures you can imagine! My appointments last about 90 minutes, and I walk away feeling 100% pampered and totally satisfied.
