The ambiance is a trendy sushi/thai restaurant mixed w a sports bar( because of all the TVs). There is an over all red vibe in the main dining rooms and the bar had a softer overtone. Services was excellent, from greeting to server and even their farewell! We started with 2 house salads. Never before have i ever been given enough dressing and not have to ask for more. I even had enough to add some extra flavor to ny other dishes lol. The tuna tataki was gently seared and fresh. We did ask for some wasabi to spruce up the heat. Next we had the chicken larp ( it is their version of lettuce wraps). These are served w fresh basil, cilantro, and lime. So refreshing! My only advice would be bigger pieces of lettuce to make it easier to eat. For entree I ordered the rock and roll shrimp. These guys were my only disappointment. They look nothing like the picture in the menu. I also thought by the name they would have a little kick, but to my surprise slightly sweet. We will definitely be back, just won't order those shrimp again!

I've been coming here for years and I have never had a bad experience with the service or the food. It's always worthwhile to bring my twins to eat here.

My absolute favorite! Grilled eel (unagi) sashimi.

As always, outstanding service surrounded by wonderful people! Prefer eating at the bar to eating in a booth or at a table. Sashimi is always outstanding, as our the à la carte sashimi selections. Definitely a place I love to go to; so many memories, so many new friends, and always wonderful memories!Definitely recommend!

98 Them 96 @moon.thai.kendall Father's day dinner. Excellent service and outstanding #thaicuisne My duck in red curry sauce was perfectly cooked, crispy skin despite seating in the curry and juicy and well spiced. The green tea was smooth and delicious and the Thai doughnuts were finger-licking good. I had a taste of the Mexican sushi (weird name for a Thai restaurant) and it delicious. The ambiance is modern, relaxing and elegant. Our server, a young man from Colombia, was excellent in every way. Will definitely go back to try other dishes!

Good food and service. Restaurant is big with a nice bar. We went in a weekday and it was quiet, which was nice.

Good food.. service could be a little better. Went with a big group. I hadn't been here in year but seems that they updated alot of the restaurant since the last time I came. We ordered an array of dishes and the food tasted great with lots of options. The only issue were a few little things as far as the service but not enough that I wouldn't be back. Some people in the group didn't get their waters. Our small plates and chopsticks were never brought out... And some of the wrong items were brought out. Aside from that, when we addressed it... it was corrected as soon as possible.

The food is consistently good! I always go because it's convenient and the service is great. All the servers are attentive and helpful. You are helped by the host when you walk in! It's dark and the decorations are very fitting and calm for the meal. It's a great place to go on a date!

It isn't just the pleasant establishment filled with really happy customers constantly expressing how wonderful their meal is. It isn't just the amazing food that tastes better than at any other Thai restaurant I've ever eaten at. It isn't the impeccable service that never falters except perhaps allowing the water glass to empty without noticing. And it isn't just. It is a combination of all of those things along with the family owned business with the owners on site making sure not only that every meal is perfect but also that every customer feels welcome. I just love this place. The see-through rolls are my very favorite appetizer. I usually get the shrimp but they must've misheard me and they served me chicken. I didn't see chicken on the menu. And I would've sent it back except it was so darn good that I may actually order it from time to time. The spring rolls are also quite good though I didn't have them this visit. Today's choice was the duck in a madaman curry. Served with jasmine rice it was outstanding. The flavors were so good and the duck was excellent. Everything was cooked perfectly. I savored every bite. My wife had the pad Thai. I have had it several times and been extremely satisfied. Many restaurants make it a bit too sweet but somehow they get the balance of Sweet n Savory perfect every time. The noodles are wonderful, but the flavor of the dish is memorable. For Thai food in the area they're actually is absolutely no other choice as far as I'm concerned. This is the best. I have yet to find anything that they don't make better than anywhere else. I have tried. And I really like the people that own and run the restaurant and the kind service that they give every single visit. Highly recommended.

I first discovered Bangkok Bangkok after moving to Miami 33 years ago and probably dined here 30 times over the following 15-20 years, usually with my husband and occasionally with groups of friends. It was widely regarded as one of South Florida's best Thai restaurants. It was expensive for us, so we came every few months when we wanted a genuinely special meal. And special it was. There was nearly always a crowd waiting at the entrance. The dining room was full, with tablecloths, cloth napkins, fresh orchids, Thai art and soft music. The lovely servers wore elegant traditional Thai dresses, and their gracious service and tableside presentations made dinner feel like an occasion. I hadn't been back in at least 10-12 years, but when choosing somewhere special for my new husband's birthday, I thought immediately of Bangkok Bangkok. He had never been, and I couldn't wait to introduce him to it--especially my old favorite, Little Big Man. That whole fried snapper was once the most expensive dish on the menu at $25; it is now $45. The rest of the menu has risen accordingly, but I was prepared to pay for the Bangkok Bangkok experience I remembered. Unfortunately, that restaurant no longer exists. The space is perhaps one-third its former size. We arrived shortly after 6:30 on a Friday evening and found only one diner in the restaurant. A casually dressed man in a worn T-shirt told us to sit wherever we wanted and dropped two menus on the table. The little room was stark and brightly lit, with bare faux-wood tables, paper napkins, inexpensive rolled silverware and a tired sprig of chrysanthemum in each bud vase. Instead of soft background music, an oldies radio station played 1980s music interrupted by advertising. I have eaten in more inviting food courts. No other dine-in customers arrived during the hour-plus we were there, although a couple of takeout orders were collected. The heartbreaking part is that the food remains very good. The $16.95 beef satay was tasty and fun to grill tableside, although both the beef skewers and accompanying sauces seemed smaller than I remembered. The beef Massaman curry--$23.95 in the restaurant, versus $22.95 for beef through the restaurant's online ordering menu--was delicious and spiced exactly as requested. Little Big Man was still divine. The whole fried snapper was brought out sizzling, carefully deboned tableside and finished with the wonderful Thai sauce that makes this dish memorable. At $45, however, the fish was rather small. We were also pleased to find a respectable $34 bottle of red wine. Service was functional but completely lacking the graciousness that once distinguished Bangkok Bangkok. The wine cap was unscrewed and a little poured into each glass; we served the rest ourselves. When we took some curry home, we were handed a clamshell and packed it ourselves. Then the bill arrived with an automatic 18% service charge. Our total was more than $150. I don't object to spending $150 on an excellent birthday dinner with beautiful surroundings and attentive service. But this felt like premium special-occasion pricing attached to a bare-bones takeout operation with a few tables in front. As delicious as the food was, we couldn't wait to leave--and it made me genuinely sad to compare the experience with the Bangkok Bangkok I remembered. The kitchen has survived, and I'm glad it has. We may try the food again as takeout. But I can no longer recommend Bangkok Bangkok for a celebration or an enjoyable evening out. Go for the food, particularly Little Big Man and the Massaman curry--not for the dining experience.

I've been there many times to that restaurant and it's one of my favorites in Miami area. It has a long-standing history of very good food and fresh fish. I had an appetizer of the three types of fish, tuna, salmon, and white fish. It came with a nice serving of ginger and I like mixing that with my soy sauce it was very good. They also brought chicken fried rice for their children and of course they loved it. The kids also had tempura shrimp rolls and they ate every bit. We had Kano su as well, and even though it was takeout, it was just as good as it would've been if we had sat in the restaurant. I will talk about my past experiences there. I've never been disappointed when dining in the restaurant and again this was takeout that we had, which is also spectacular. So dining in the restaurant it's very quaint and quiet even when it's crowded they do have a bar area for those who like to go and watch sports on TV, but that does not interfere with the dining room because you can't really hear the noise from the televisions in there. The service is on point every time that I've ever been there the servers are friendly very accommodating. Sometimes when I go there, I get t yum Goon and a flavor it just the spice level that I like. It's a great family option. It's also nice for a date night. I don't have any pictures post this time, but I'll get some for next time. Go there and enjoy it!

I drive 25 minutes each way because the experience has been consistently worth it. Has been . . . On my last visit there was variance. Significant variance. Their record of consistency collapsed. On April 3, 2026, I placed an order that was supposed to be ready for pick up in approximately 45 minutes. I arrived at my expected pick up time, gave my name, and was asked to wait a little bit longer for my order. Reasonable enough on a Friday night. All good. Twenty minutes passed. I asked for an update: "how much longer is it going to be?" I was told it's going to be another 30 minutes. They apologized, offered me a beverage, which I appreciated. That's the only reason I'm giving an additional star. Bottom-line: I waited 1 hour after my promised pick up time for my order. That's simply unacceptable. To make matters worse, when I opened my order at home, the sashimi portions were noticeably meager. Well below the standard I've come to expect for their Sashimi Mori. Maybe this is an outlier? Maybe this was the busiest night of the year? Of the past five years? Regardless, it's hard to ignore. I'm writing this review in the hopes that that a restaurant I love returns to the standard that earned my loyalty in the first place.
