I didn't know what to expect when I came here seeking some plants, but WOW WOW WOW. Also can't say enough out the service. Kate met me and greeted me as I got out of my car. She was so helpful and lovely and it was clear I came unprepared with not enough photos or measurements of what I really needed. So she said, I can just come by in about 30 minutes and look at everything for you and give you some recommendations? Uhm. Yes please! I am a high school autism teacher who has been on the hunt for Christmas tree coins (the cut off ends of tree trunks) and found it more challenging than I had anticipated. Parking is in the property (drive in to get to the parking lot). We saw many very pretty trees. They don't offer small plants such as herbs or vegetable starters. When we visited, the fruit trees were looking really good and some had fruit ready to pick. An employee answered our fruit tree questions and provided some tips on citrus tree care. We purchased some products for our plants we already have at home. I'm hoping the Moon Juice and other products work as expected. read more

We've been coming to this location for years and always have a great experience. All the staff is super friendly and helpful. Today we stopped in for mulch and our free moon juice. It was a slower day there and when we walked into the trailer there were several staff members in there and they were all super nice and helpful, but Houghton helped us out with what we needed. The Tule Springs Sales Team is awesome. Each time I've visited I've been treated like a valued guest. And the installation crew was considerate of my property, efficient and hard working. Sadly grubs got to one of my trees, during the heat of Summer. Because I purchased their contract, they sent an arborist first then asked me to return and select another tree, no charge. Yesterday Raphael & his team removed the dead tree & installed the new one. What a fantastic crew! Again, cionsiderate of my property & next door neighbor's, efficient & hard working. They laid down protection for my front walkway, checked twice with me about whether I was happy with the position of the cactus. We have a great resource in Moon Valley Nurseries and on Sunday my friend and I shopped at the Tule Springs location for her ideal replacement tree and several ground cover plants. Mike was there to greet us and to answer so many of our questions. Because she is replacing a tree that had failed in a fairly new complex (not planted by her) there is a list of requisite drought resistant choices from the home owners' association. Crape myrtle, which is always a beautiful sight to see, won the competition. We walked among the beautiful rows of color and enjoyed seeing the amazing variety of species of plants this company has to offer. I have used Moon Valley in the past to plant a couple of small shrubs on my property about five years ago. I was totally impressed with the service. This is why I recommended Moon Valley at this time. The customer is given many options as far as caring for the investment. Planting services are available and an arborist is also a pivotal part of the planning. My friend was not only educated in the importance of putting stakes around the new tree where the windis strong in her area but also in the process for ensuring successful growth. She will be out of town for the planting date and I volunteered to be there because I'm very excited to see the new look in her garden. The company follows guidelines for avoiding gas lines, and clearly instructed us in how to expect their procedures. The owner will place flags once the decision is made where to put the trees. Then they have an individual call the gas company to ensure that no gas lines will be impacted. No trees are planted in the vicinity of a gas line. In a fairly new condo complex it's great to see what is growing there and I know the beautiful red crape myrtle and bottle brush will stand out. The visit with Mike on Sunday really inspired me to return to this particular location even though I live close to another Moon Valley. I have plans to replace a caesalpinia gelsii which had fallen and to plant a second China berry on our property. When we can visit a business where the employees are obviously enthusiastic about their work and knowledgeable about how to bring about the customers' solutions I am going to be right there.
