I've been begging this company for over the last month to contact me about concrete work. They have proven non-responsive and not a company of their word. I used their website "contact us" form. No response. I called phone #1 and left a message. No response. I called phone #2. Finally reached one of the owners, who agreed to come by my house at a certain time the next week. Never showed up. I left the owner a voice mail. No response. We all know that reliability and honesty are what we need when having work done on our house. Hands down - one of the best contractors that we've worked with for our home. Within a week, we were able to schedule an appointment and able to figure out exactly what we needed within our budget. They redid our front stoop and created the back patio for us - this was all done quickly and for a decent price. Horrible, Horrible Company! The worst cement contractor, the worst contractor to ever do work on my Home! I believe this Company does not know what they are doing, when it comes to cement work. One of the owners, Estaban is a liar and will not stand behind the work or the service they provide! I have tried to contact them many times to see if the problem can be resolved and of course he or the company will not respond! * I have never written a scathing review of a Company, but this firm fits the bill! I hired the company to do cement work for my new wrought iron porch, (they had dropped literature at my home, saying they are doing work in the neighborhood), I thought I would use them as they seemed fair and reasonable and assured me they warranted the work they do. This was 18 months ago. The issues are many. They used the wrong slump of cement. The company did not use fresh cement from a quality concrete company, but instead brought the cement from a previous job site in the back of their truck. I questioned this, but they assured me this would be okay. The steps have deteriorated, they flake, crack and pitting is on all steps, along with major chunks that are loose and come out of the cement. I am now faced with the daunting task of ripping out and deconstructing the Shoddy Work that has been done from this company! I can not give them any stars, as the work, is of such poor quality it would be unfair to other Yelpers or people who use reviews to make an informed decision. These guys Beto and Estaban are as good as it gets. When we read some of the reviews we were cautious. I asked Beto how many days the work would take he said 7. I said so at the most 10 days. He said 7. They finished in 5. I asked how many guys on the job each day. He said 4 - 6. There was at least 6 guys here a day. They put pavers in our backyard. They are as good as it gets. The work is flawless in a craftsman quality way. We are blown away and so are all our neighbors. I realized the old reviews are probably people who just can't be pleased. read more

Called Beto to come over and give an estimate on my mothers concrete stoop and stairs that the previous snow and ice storm blew apart and allstate insurance was going to send an adjuster over as well. He said sure I will be there 3 pm tomorrow to estimate the job. 3 pm the next day no show called both numbers several times and left several messages no return call! finally the next day early in the evening I got thru to Estiban and he said we are not going to do the job because insurance company is involved it seems to me they are a fly by night company! Even though I want the work done, I will not chase down a contractor for a quote. If they cannot make it to an appointment on time, do you think they will get the work done in a timely fashion. What a disappointing experience! Beto, who represents himself as Estaban's brother (the owner), came out to give me an estimate about three weeks ago. He was prompt and friendly, took measurements and promised to get back to me within a week's time. That was the last I heard from him. I have messaged him and also called and left a voice message, all to no avail. This really is too bad. They seemed like a nice company, but I guess the other reviews about lack of contact are more true to their form. Oh well. The search goes on. read more

Hired them to re-do my garage concrete floor and exterior apron. They charged a reasonable price and checked in with me regularly when they could do the work earlier than scheduled. I was satisfied with the concrete work they did within the garage, it looked pretty solid and well laid out. However, there were a few noticeable issues after the work was completed. After the concrete dried off (3 days later), the garage door did not close down completely due to the concrete slab being a bit higher than it was before, something I wish they would have pointed out as a potential end result but not a huge deal as most of the garage still closes aside from a small gap between 2 panels. The other issue was a cosmetic problem where the the concrete apron was not aligned properly in a straight line. Esteban later pointed out that they couldn't do a straight line as the existing alley concrete/road was 4 inches thick and they could not cut a straight line all the way across. read more

We had sidewalks done by Moonlight Concrete and the quality of work is terrible. It hasn't even been a year yet and there are several cracks appearing across six slabs of sidewalk.
