    Perfectly medium cooked patty melt
    Rhonda M.

This is not a gourmet spot, but it sure hits the spot. After power shopping at Sam's and Costco all in one day, my boyfriend and I decided to deviate from the dinner plan and go out to eat. I wanted a burger he wanted to sit down meal and we ended up at the Moonlight Diner. Walking into the diner is like a step back in time. The decor is 1950s memorabilia with chrome touches and leather wrapped seating. It's everything you would think a diner would be but the food is so much more. They have a full bar as well as dairy treats, including shakes and malts. They also have breakfast all day and love their pancakes. They also serve barbecue. But I went for the patty melt. And my other half went for breakfast. His breakfast was the mountain man breakfast and was full of meats, eggs hashbrowns, and Ken with pancakes, but he opted for English buffet instead. It also came with a side of toast. It was a very ample breakfast. My patty melt sure did hit the spot. It was a perfectly medium cooked hamburger on rye with cheddar, and Swiss melted with grilled onions and thousand island dressing. Instead of fries, I went for the mashed potatoes and gravy. It was comfort food to the max. My date also got the peanut butter shake. He slurped that down in a hot minute. He said it was wonderful. He offered me a taste at least twice before I noticed it was gone. There's also meatloaf on the menu as well as a pulled pork barbecue Frito pie and they have a Frito pie burger. They also serve meatloaf. They have several classics and several twists. I recommend going there. There's something for everyone.

Solid breakfast option! Cute diner was busy but still got quickly seated and served. Went with the chicken and waffles. The waffle was AMAZING. Light and fluffy inside and crispy outside - cooked to perfection. The chicken had a great breading was a bit bland. Next time I would ask for a side of gravy to assist with the chicken. Definitely not "Roscoe's" but a nice breakfast!

Great good, huge portions...! I unexpectedly stayed the night in Denver while traveling home from Tampa and found this place close to the Courtyard Marriott I stayed at. The place was busy and there was a wait for larger parties, but being by myself, I was able to be seated right away at the counter. The service was friendly and nice and Janessa took good care of me. This was a classic diner feel for sure. They even offered cocktails and handmade milkshakes. I'll definitely eat here agin if in a similar circumstance.

I had a great experience overall. The service was excellent our server was attentive, friendly, and maintained a positive attitude throughout the visit. The food was also very enjoyable, I ordered the chicken with biscuits and gravy and it was absolutely delicious. The cozy atmosphere made it an ideal spot for a relaxing breakfast. The only downside was the parking it was a bit difficult to find a spot close to the restaurant.

Staying at the Gaylord Rockies and decided to venture out for a non-Marriott breakfast. $9 Lyft ride or a 20 minute walk. Awesome classic diner feel with a great menu. I opted for the Meat Eaters omelet with pancakes vs toast with hash browns. Super friendly staff, seems family owned and run. I will come back for dinner one night to try their milk shakes.

This place has really grown on me. The locals love it but it took me a little bit to warm up to it. It love Denver omelet and the sourdough toast. The pancakes are also very good.

Alright this place has been on our to go list ever since we passed it going to or from the airport years ago. We live 35-mins from the airport so really, that would be the only time we'd go. My uncle came into town and was staying by the airport so we saw this as our chance, and honestly it totally lived up to the expectation! We ordered the chicken fried steak, turkey club, BLT, and cup of red chili and it was all divine diner food! I ordered a chocolate milkshake but they ended up forgetting it, which honestly was okay because I was so full after the rest of the food I probably couldn't have drank or enjoyed it. Would definitely return if we have some time to kill around the airport or recommend to people staying near by!

Diner's in new place are a must! Came across this place on a Monday morning with a group of 5 and a toddler. Waited no longer than 10 minutes to get seated. Menu was straight forward and our group did have some questions and the service was helpful in answering questions along with suggestions on what to order. Got to try the country fried steak and eggs with a mimosa and a mimosa flight to share. Food was FANTASTIC that our table even got to share a savory plate. Mimosa's did sosa. Loved that the diner is located on the side of road and has the feeling of a diner. Wonder if dinner here would hit different?

Ate here 2 days in a row because it was walking distant from my hotel, and it was delicious! The staff were very friendly, the food came out fast, the ambiance was upbeat, and everything was hot and tasty. This diner is styled as an old fashioned diner, and reminded me of a retro drive in. I ate solo, and got offered comfy booths both times which I really appreciate since most restaurants will just stick solo diners at the bar. Highly recommend!!

The green chili was great, the service was phenomenal, my coffee cup was never empty. Easily walkable from all the hotels nearby. If you are staying near the airport and need a good meal I highly recommend Moonlight.

The dinner takes you back in time! I landed and this was my first place I ate at upon my arrival. The prices are fair and portions are large. They definitely give you large quantities of food. The hamburger was a bit too greasy for my liking. It had a grease taste. I did like the soup, it was spicy and savory The service was just ok. Their were times I had to wait for the check or order extra condiments.

Unseasoned chicken and mushy sweet potato fries

The food was terrible. I had the chicken tenders with sweet potato fries. I tried to like it but the fries were mushy and undercooked. There were flies all over by us and landing on our food. My daughter had the burger and the burger was so overcooked that she could only eat the bacon. I was not happy. The chicken tenders were unseasoned and tasted like bland chicken. Next was the service. It has been a long time since I have given less than a 20 percent tip. But our server was barely at our table and drinks were not filled in a timely manner. My wife said she liked her salad that is why the second star. The ambiance was not good flies and more flies it was gross. Plus the bathroom was so nasty my daughter said that it was not fit to be used. The sad thing is that's where the employees use the bathroom. I really liked this place but it has gone down hill. I hope you don't get insulted by this review but it it was just bad. I did not post my wife or daughter's food but from mine you should get the picture.

Good place to stop, whether on the way to or from DIA. Would definitely recommend the Moonlight Diner for breakfast, but lucky for us, breakfast is served all day. The pancakes are an easy go to but definitely give the breakfast burrito a try. It is of great portion. It seems like the Diner is a popular spot as it is always busy when we visit. The dining area is not kept up very well, so bring wipes. Same goes for the restroom facilities. The latter being run down, out of stock on toiletries and a dysfunctional towel dispenser.

Food was served quick and tasted great. You can smell the bbq as you walk up and that's what I got. The pulled pork was awesome.

Not sure if you can make reservations, but the hubby and I walked-in without one. We chose to sit at the bar. I kid you not, the couple next to us ordered their food and it came out in less than 5 minutes. We were all impressed. The bar tender was our server, he made us delicious mimosas. They have an extensive drink list btw. If I was feeling extra fun, I would've ordered an espresso martini. Now to the main course, I opted for something different, "the K-Mack" which includes a Korean fried buttermilk chicken with a cabbage slaw and green onions. It was so good. My mouth is watering thinking about it again haha. Aside from our delicious brunch, the restaurant vibe screams Denver. Lots of decor, plants, art, different kind of seating. It's fun. It's welcoming. It's so Denver and I'm here for it.
