They do have a large selection of colors. First technician assigned to me was great. She was really good at the leg massage and scrub. However, then I was assigned someone else to finish my services. (Apparently she had an appointment). My nail painting for pedicure felt a little rough. Next, for my no chip manicure they didn't soak off previous polish that long. It was a little painful to remove. My nail polish started chipping on day 6. I would return for a pedicure. However, manicure was a little rough for me.

I was a bit surprised seeing the rating Trend Nails received and it could be the person they had or some other experience. But overall I have always experienced a great amount of care. They are super clean with the tools, cleaning the foot baths and love the fact they don't reuse the pumice, stone or sponge. I do not like when places use the scrapper on have had issues in the past. It's why I'll never go anywhere else.

The owner, Beata, and the rest of the manicurists keep this hidden, tiny oasis spotless. There are only three manicure stations as well as three pedicure stations along with a fully closed-off back station where you can relax during a massage or facial. The space is decorated in cool, neutral colors and the tiny waiting area is stocked full of current magazines. Beata and the other ladies use Essie and OPI nail products, sterilize everything, and are one of the few nail spas that use OPI drying drops instead of a drying spray or dryer. The results are so much better with the drying drops. No smudges or kinks in your nails because only the top layer of your nails was dried by the adhesive. The facials here cannot be beat if you have problem skin. The spa only stocks Dermalogica products and does all of the facialists do a detailed consultation to determine your problems and needs. Manicures are $20, pedicures are $40 and facials are $80; however, the prices are well worth it. I have never been more satisfied with a facial, a pedicure, or a manicure than when I leave Ambiance.

When she finally cut my hair it took a total of 2 minutes and was also not the result I had wanted. Dawn knew I was upset, and even acknowledged my frustration. However, she was out of the salon even before I could leave a tip. (I am not an animal, I still leave tips even for bad service. At least 15%) The best part was when I went up to pay. I was charged an additional $20 for a "comb through". While I haven't a clue what this is, I was still perplexed and inquired about it. I was told it was like a toner. This was crazy, as I had asked Dawn if I would need a toner and she told me no. I attempted to argue this point when paying, to no avail. I would not return to this salon. Horrible results and shady practices. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because my daughter was satisfied with her cut. She isn't the one paying, though.
