The messy burger with everything and tots. Everything was cooked to perfection and the vegetables crispy.

The service consists of your average local waiter and the hustle and bustle of snowmobilers and locals mixed with people coming from the city. Has this location usually busy. The bathrooms are clean and there is an ATM present. The drinks were quickly brought to the table and we only had to wait about 15 minutes for our food. Two adults having non-alcoholic beverages and two meals without an appetizer or dessert cost 40$ without tip. I am pretty picky when it comes to the quality of my beef, but the french fries were crispy and the hamburger didn't have any grizzle.

    Sanitizer at every table

Moonlite ha shade some great strides lately - the food is still killer and they are doing their best to shift with the changes of COVID that has affected them this summer season. Sanitizer is provided at every table, disposable menus, takeout available, all staff in masks and/or shields, things are constantly being cleaned or wiped, and they are very much enforcing no more than 6 at a table unless you are family. Their ticket times are slow with its busy which is something to be expected. They offer dockside service now too and the best part...THEY SERVE BREAKFAST NOW!! So awesome to have another replace offering breakfast/brunch in the chain. Simple menu to choose from and all really great staple items. Keep it up moonie! We support you!

Moonlight Bay has opened a classy, nautically-themed new restaurant called Pub 33 on a new second level with a separate kitchen and upgraded, healthier meal options, plus a fun bar. They've only been open a week, so they're likely still working out the kinks, but nonetheless we had a friendly afternoon experience with scrumptious walleye sliders on brioche, followed by gluten-free-crust flatbread with pesto, tomato, and mozzarella that we ate all of, even though we were full! This might be my new favorite place to eat by boat on the Whitefish Chain!

First, you guys need to hire a health inspector, our waiter gave us two pitchers one with water and the other with root beer, they smelled like liquid ass, I swear to got y'all scooped it straight from the sewer. Second, my daughter said she felt the need to eat sugar packets for dinner because her burger (she said it looked like a burger from McDonald's) had a piece of hair in it. Disgusting. Last, we had to wait 30 mins in horrid conditions, the pool tables were full of trash, beer bottles and capsule toys. I was blown away. It really did shook me that you would do that to your customers. And I can't forget that you guys had no soap in the woman's bathroom. Well I hope this review teaches your team a thing or two (or many) on how to run a fucking bar. Have a lovely day full of sunshine and rainbows Xoxo, Caralina

Nothing better then an afternoon cocktail.

Great place to boat to on the chain. Like the signature burger with special sauce. Music on weekend afternoons and evenings.

Very bad food and service with high prices (typical up north crap)! But a fun place to hang out and have a couple beers on the patio!

With a variety of seating options, games, food, and drinks, Zorbaz always delivers. I love how there's even a variety of vegetarian and gluten free options. Prices are soooo good, most meals under $10! I tried the Zorbaz Drekker sour and it was SO good! But they have like 20+ different taps, so a variety of options to try! Love the self-service and always a friendly staff! Would recommend to anyone who needs to get a true minnesotan feel of a resturant!

It didn't take long for me to crave some of the flavors of Tex Mex that was so abundant back in Texas where I lived. My friends suggested I give Zorbaz a chance and it is still a place I like to visit when I go back. What they are known for here is Mexican food and pizza. Weird combo, but it hits the spot. You can get the best of both worlds if you order the Mexican pizza which is basically a taco salad on a pizza. It is one of my go to items here. They do put alot of focus on the Mexican food side of the menu with items you would expect like quesadillas, burritos, tacos, etc. Is it authentic or close to what I get back home? Nah. It's still tasty food and gets the job done. They also have a very impressive tap beer selection with beers from all over. When in MN, I will always go with a Michelob Golden though! They have locations throughout MN but I've only been to the location on Cross Lake. I'll continue coming back if in the area.

We got some of their Mud Lake Brown, as it was the only dark'ish brew they had on hand. As someone whose libation du jour is porter or stout, this paucity of dark brews is notable. Nonetheless, the Mud Lake Brown proved to be a fine draft. It has plenty of roasty notes in its flavor profile & a slightly yeastier than expected front end. Body was light, so could make a pleasant all-afternoon sipper. I've had a taste of their limited run Thin Mints brew, which is their Mud Lake Brown doctored with the Thin Mints GS cookies. I've only two words on that selection: "Amazing!!!" and "Exquisite!". It's a shame the Thin Mints brew isn't a full time player on 14 Lakes' roster. Reports on their Peanut Butter Porter were also solidly in the positive realm. So this little gem of a craft brewery hidden away in the north woods is producing some mighty tasty alternatives to the commercial big boys' generic offerings. Check them out if you're in the area, but be aware their hours are somewhat limited.
