    The Wharf House Bloody Mary

What a fun breakfast place! Up north for the weekend and came here for a delish bfast and an awesome bloody. This place has been here for ages and the views of the lake make it a perfect comfortable dining spot. Super friendly bartender got us set up right away and really speedy on the food. The food was cooked exactly as we ordered and it was delish! Lots of snowmobilers stopped by for food and drinks and plenty of parking. Def recommend!

Watch the boats go by, enjoy the beautiful weather and be patient. If you're lucky enough to be at the lake, then you're lucky enough! This place has been around for years and is definitely a go to for me in Crosslake. I could sit here for hours just enjoying friends and family and watching the water. Yes. It can get busy which means longer wait times and delays especially during summer and event weekends. If it's busy and you don't feel like waiting - grab a drink quick or even one to go and move on. If you're in a sit and wait mode then just enjoy it. The staff works hard and tries to accommodate the busy days and crazy summer season! Favorites: Bloody Mudslide Bang bang shrimp Fried chicken sandwich Tuna melt The lawn is dog friendly too so bring your furry friend for some company!

I went to the Wharf while I was in the area for a retreat. I want to start by saying that everything was completely fine... except for the the food, which in my mind is a bit of a dealbreaker. I have no complaints about the service, the location/vibe (great spot on the water), the portion size (big!), or prices (cheap). My friend and I both ordered pancakes and they tasted completely like baking soda (powder?). We tried drenching them in syrup, but the baking soda/powder flavor prevailed. Pancakes are pretty basic and we left disappointed.

Food was typical bar food from a freezer bag. Everything served room temperature. Eat before you come here. Ambiance, drinks and crowd are Terrific.

Over the Fourth of July weekend we had a serene 11 AM lunch experience on the lakeside deck at The Wharf. The fish and chips were to die for! Very accommodating of a large group with all ages. Attentive service, friendly guests, and lots of boat and people watching opportunities. Go to The Wharf!

Best chicken tenders. Easily top 5 I've ever had. As a picky eater.

Great House Bloody Mary's. Would have been nice if they posted that they close at 4pm on Sundays.

Great little bar right on Whitefish with old school vibes. Good service, good music and a great view of the lake right on the channel.

Our waiter provided excellent service and was attentive throughout the meal. The kid's meals were delicious, and the burgers were outstanding--definitely the highlight of our visit. The wraps and sandwiches, however, could use some improvement. The Buffalo Chicken Wrap wasn't nearly as spicy as expected and tasted pretty mild. The Chicken Bacon Ranch was on the dry side and came with a thick slice of American cheese, which didn't seem like the best choice. I think it would be much better with shredded cheese and a side of ranch to add some moisture and flavor. Overall, we'd come back for the great service, burgers, and lively atmosphere, but we'd probably skip the wraps and sandwiches next time.

We ordered a couple pizzas which took a good bit of time to come out and little taste in the crust (plus they were thin and heavily cooked so it was more of a cracker). The drink options are not listen anywhere so they just have your standard options. Venue was very loud and even though we were inside, our table was bothered by several flies. Plus the "plates" we got were tiny styrofoam and only worked okay because the pizza slices were so small. On the bright side however, the prices were not that high at least averaging around $10-12 per person and soda at $3

The proprietors…read moreare serving up authentic modern Vietnamese and Thai dishes, alongside standard up north favorites like burgers and fish and chips. Two of us had the Pad Thai, one had steak and potatoes, and the other Szechuan tofu. The Pad Thai stands up to any version I've had anywhere, a strong and solid offering with the tanginess of tamarind balanced with fresh chopped cilantro. The traditional beef and potatoes dish can be hit and miss, but this one balanced potatoes with crispy edges and pillowy starchiness with quality strips of steak, all stir fried together in just enough brown sauce to bring it together. The tofu and snap peas in a spicy Szechuan sauce were flavorful and hearty enough after appetizers. We didn't get pictures of the egg rolls, which are as good as you'll find in these parts and the spring rolls, which were slightly less authentic than we'd hoped. We finished off with lemon bar ice cream, Vietnamese flan, and a toffee Bundt cake. Red Pine Cookhouse is a visually impressive log building with plenty of natural light flowing in through the many windows and a curved staircase leading up to a game room for the kids. We enjoyed the evening on the patio. We were thrilled to have been introduced to this gem of a restaurant, and look forward to our next trip back!
